DOVER - Clara Leora Stansbury of Thursday, April 2, 1998, in the Silver Lake Center, Dover. She was 73.
Mrs. Stansbury was born June 16, 1924, in Hayden, Md., the daughter of the late Hubert and Carrie Hynson.
She attended school in Salem, Md. She was employed at Vita Foods Inc. and Campbell Soup Co. for many years.
Mrs. Stansbury was a lifelong member of Hope United Methodist Church. She was a real people person. She enjoyed the company of many good friends and a very loving cousin, Catherine Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. Stansbury; a son, Charles C. Hynson; two sisters, Martha Gaines and Evelyn Williams and one brother, Charles L. Hynson.
She is survived by five sons, Foster Edward Stansbury of Detroit, Marion Shelton Stansbury of Marydel, Carl Olin Stansbury Sr. of Wilmington, William Benjamin Stansbury of Ridgely, Md., and Calvin Henry Stansbury of Marydel with whom she lived during her failing health; one sister, Ruth Dean of Wilmington, 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five daughters-in-law, Carolyn, Brenda, Margaret, Reba Elaine and Shirley; the sister-like love of Thelma Maddix of Wilmington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Hope United Methodist Church of Hope, Md., where friends may call two hours before the service and from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery.

Lance P. Lauderbaugh, 51
FELTON - Lance P. Lauderbaugh of Felton died of cancer Sunday, April 5, 1998, in the Elsmere Veterans Hospital. He was 51.
Mr. Lauderbaugh worked for several years as a computer installer for the ITT Corp. until 1978. He was employed as a carpenter. He was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Walter L. Fox Post 2 in Dover and a former member of the Wyoming Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother Delores Lauderbaugh of Dover; a brother, S. William Lauderbaugh and a sister-in-law Ginger Lauderbaugh both of Dover; a nephew, David Lauderbaugh of Virginia Beach, Va.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Bear. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Faries Funeral Home, 1250 S. Governors Ave., Dover.
F. Clayton Rose, 64
SMYRNA - F. Clayton Rose of Smyrna died in his home Sunday, April 5, 1998. He was 64.
Mr. Rose was born Aug. 31, 1933, in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Francis Clayton Rose and Frances Schoenborn Rose.
Mr. Rose was an upper career executive counselor for Clayton Rose and Associates in Smyrna for the last 14 years before retiring due to disability. He was a 1955 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
He spent several years ministering to three parishes in lower Caroline County, Md. Mr. Rose and his wife raised 53 children as a part of the ministry. He enjoyed sailing and flying.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Shortall Rose, two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Rose of Middletown, Md., Shelly Rose Silvernail of Lisbon, N.D., a brother, Robert T. Rose of Chicago; a cousin, P. Craig Bogley of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and two granddaughters.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peters Episcopal Church, 22 N. Union St., Smryna.
Burial will be private.

Edward Booth, 74
GEORGETOWN - Edward Booth of Georgetown died in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, on Sunday, April 5, 1998. He was 74
Mr. Booth was born March 20, 1924, in Georgetown the son of the late Harry Ulman Booth and Margaret Watt Williams.
He was a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy from Sept. 23, 1943 to Jan. 5, 1948. He was also employed by Peninsula Oil Co. as a manager/salesman for many years.
Mr. Booth was a member of VFW Post 2931; Sussex Pines Country Club; Franklin Masonic Lodge 12; Selbyville Elks Lodge 2173; Kent & Sussex Scottish Rite Club; Georgetown Fire Department; 50-year member of American Legion Post 8. He was active with the Georgetown Little League and was one of the founders of Return Day in Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara M. 'Peggy' Booth in 1996.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda B. Rogers of Milford; two brothers, Thomas Booth of Greenwood and William 'Fritz' Booth of Georgetown; a granddaughter, Staci Donovan Marvel of Milton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, S. King and Market streets, Georgetown. Friends may call from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford St., Georgetown where Masonic services will be 8:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.

Grace Otwell Rayne, 79
GREENWOOD - Grace Otwell Rayne of Greenwood died of heart failure Sunday, April 5, 1998, at LifeCare at Lofland Park in Seaford. She was 79.
Mrs. Rayne was born June 14, 1918, in Bridgeville, the daughter of the late Harlan and Lottie Otwell.
She was a credit manager for Mangel's Department Store in Salisbury, Md., and Waller's Clothing Store in Laurel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Rayne in January 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Reynolds and her husband, Bob of Greenwood; two sisters, Kathleen Morris and her husband, David of Delmar and Irene Hills of Laurel; a sister-in-law, Nora Waller of Felton.
Services will be noon Thursday at Fleischauer Funeral Home, W. Market Street, Greenwood, where friends may call one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Springhill Memory Garden, Salisbury.

Anthony A. Baione, 72
DELMAR - Anthony A. Baione of Delmar died Monday, April 6, 1998, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. He was 72.
Mr. Baione was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late James and Esther Baione.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force as chief master sergeant. He served in World War II completing 35 combat missions. He was awarded Outstanding Airman of the Year in 1959. He was in charge of The Presidential Unit of 'Air Force One' for President John F. Kennedy and President Lyndon B. Johnson and President Richard M. Nixon. Among his many decorations and awards he received The Distinguished Flying Cross.
Mr. Baione was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Delmar; Delmar VFW Post #8276 and the Charismatic Prayer Group, Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Baione, three sons, Anthony M. Baione of Waldorf, Md., John D. Baione of Owings, Md., and Michael C. Baione, also of Waldorf; five daughters, Edye B. Smith of Bethesda, Md., Patricia E. Roys, of Waldorf, Deborah J. Baione of Bowie, Md., Mary Baione Massey of Silver Springs, Md., and Tara C. Baione of Delmar; two brothers, James A. Baione of Delmar and Nicholas Baione of Ventnor, N.J., and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Delmar. The Very Rev. Charles L. Brown, III will officiate. Friends may call from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove St., Delmar.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Monday in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
Wilroy Justice, 77
MILLSBORO - Wilroy Justice of Millsboro died Monday, April 6, 1998, in his home. He was 77.
Mr. Justice was born in Mappsville, Va., son of the late Will and Carrie Justice.
He was employed with Millsboro Poultry for many years and also at H & H Poultry.
Mr. Justice was a member of The Dickerson Chapel AME Church, Millsboro for over 45 years, where he served on the trustee board; member of the lay organization; male chorus; senior choir and the gospel choir.
He enjoyed baseball and horse shoes. His greatest joy was singing for the Lord; he always sang 'Old Time Religion.'
He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta, in 1989.
He is survived by 10 sons, William of Seaford, Clarence of Harbeson, Harold of Millsboro, Wilbur of Dover, John of Asbury Park, N.J., Henry of Millsboro, James Stanley of Trenton, N.J., Lester of Salisbury, Md., Anthony of Newark, Emanuel of New Castle; six daughters, Connie of Millsboro, Charlotte of Georgetown, Judy of Rehoboth, Rebecca of Millsboro, Iris of New Castle and Yvette of Preston, Md.; three sisters, Beulah Davis of Mappsville, Va., Flora Camphor and Josephine Davis, both of New York; five sons-in-law; eight daughters-in-law; 30 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dickerson Chapel AME Church, Millsboro, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Friday.
Burial will be in Mappsville, Va.

Martha A. Spicer, 93
SEAFORD - Martha A. Spicer of Seaford died of heart failure Monday, April 6, 1998, in the Seaford Center. She was 93.
Mrs. Spicer was born in Sussex County, daughter of the late James M. & Willie Tull O'Day.
She attended Tull's School.
Mrs. Spicer was employed by Tibbitt's Dress Shop, Silco and Dollar General Store, all of Seaford, for many years, retiring in the early 1980's.
She was a member of the Reliance Homemakers Club and of the Woodland U.M. Church, Woodland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Rora Spicer, in 1958; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Collins and Hazel Wilson, both of Seaford; a sister, Elizabeth Tull of Seaford; and four grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stein Highway, Seaford. The Rev. Earle Baker will officiate.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Gary Lynn Houpt, 61
DOVER - Gary Lynn Houpt of Dover died Monday, April 6, 1998, in the Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 62.
Mr. Houpt was born in Hagerstown, Md., son of the late Earl and Ruth Houpt.
He received his doctorate degree in education in 1977.
Mr. Houpt was employed with the State of Delaware for 30 years in the Department of Education, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the Delaware State Education Association, Delaware Teachers of English Language Association, the Delaware Association of School Administrators, Phi Delta Kappa, the National Education Association and he was past president of the Kent County S.P.C.A.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gail of Dover; a daughter, Gwyn Houpt of Dover; a sister, Lois Balcer of Baltimore, Md.; and a brother, Charles Houpt of New York.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Trader Funeral Home, Lotus Street, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
Ann Carolyn Stokley, 58
MILLSBORO - Ann Carolyn Stokley of Millsboro died of heart failure Saturday, April 4, 1998, in the Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 58.
Mrs. Stokley was born in Elizabeth City, N.C., daughter of the Late Robert and Flora Lee Williams Wilson.
She was employed in housekeeping with the Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
Mrs. Stokley was a member of the New Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, Millsboro.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thaddeus Stokley of Millsboro; a daughter, Diane Simmons Laar of Rockland, Mass.; two sons, Bernard Simmons of Millsboro and Henry Wilson of New Britain, Conn.; and eight grandchildren.
Service will be noon Saturday at the New Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, First Street, Millsboro, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Bishop L. T. Blackshear will officiate.
Burial will be in the Henlopen Memorial Park, near Milton.
