SMYRNA - Kasie Nicole Solloway of Smyrna was stillborn Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital.
She is survived by her parents, Robbie and Lisa Scuse Solloway of Smyrna; two brothers, Aaron Solloway and Ryan Permelia, both at home; her maternal grandparents, George and Renee Scuse of Smyrna; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Nancy Solloway of Smyrna; and her paternal great-grandmother, Esther Weller of Sudlersville, Md.
Service and burial will be private.

Helen E. Wagner, 66
CAMDEN - Helen E. Wagner, R.N., of Camden died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998, in her home. She was 66.
Mrs. Wagner was born Sept. 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Gustav and Martha Schwenk Ziebutski.
She was a registered nurse at Kent General Hospital, Dover, where she lovingly cared for thousands of patients for 40 years until retiring in 1994.
Mrs. Wagner enjoyed cooking and baking, and was especially well-known for her specialty cheesecakes. She also was a super collector who loved attending flea markets and yard sales. Most of all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister whose caring ways touched everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Emit Butz, Ed Ziebutski and Gustav Ziebutski Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert T. Wagner Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, State Auditor R. Thomas Wagner Jr. and his wife, Amber, both of Dover; four sisters, Martha Kaemmerlen of Gaffney, S.C., Wanda Bernier of Buzzards Bay, Mass., Frieda Pinkavitch of Dover and Ina Winter of Otsego, Mich.; and many loving nephews and nieces.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Woodside United Methodist Church, Main Street, Woodside.
Burial will be private.

Bradford A. Vickers Jr., 83
CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Bradford A. Vickers Jr. of Cambridge and Georgetown, Del., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 7. He was 83.
Mr. Vickers was an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union for several years, retiring in 1980.
He was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran during World War II, serving in England as an airplane mechanic for fighter planes.
Mr. Vickers enjoyed waterfowl carving, auction sales, oil painting, scrimshaw and crewing in the Cambridge sailboat races.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecilia Tolley Vickers; and his second wife, Jean Frost Vickers.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Theresa Russell Vickers of Georgetown and Cambridge; a daughter, Barbara Vickers, Easton; a son, Steven Vickers of Grasonville; three stepdaughters, Sandy Jones of Salisbury, Shelby Gootee of Nashville, Tenn., and Carol Williamson of Georgetown; a granddaughter, Christin C. Vickers of Grasonville; a sister, Bevalea Tharp of Cambridge; and a brother, James Vickers of Cambridge.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, Inc., 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call one hour prior to service. The Rev. Randall T. Blackmon will officiate.
Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge.
Effie E. Anthony, 78
DENTON, Md. - Effie E. Anthony of Denton died of heart failure Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was 78.
Mrs. Anthony was born in Windber, Pa., the daughter of the late Lowman Ott Sr. and Frances Shaffer Ott. She moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland when she was a child.
She was a homemaker. She had also worked with her husband at Anthony's Produce Stand on Greensboro Road, and at both the Quick Wash and Caroline Poultry in Denton.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Anthony; three brothers, Willard Ott, Walter Ott and Dave Ott; and a sister, Frances Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Preston T. Anthony of Denton; two sons, A. Wayne Anthony of Denton and Roger L. Anthony of Palmyra, Va.; one daughter, Shirley A. Daffin of Denton; a brother, Lowman Ott Jr. of Denton; three sisters, Emma Jones of Salisbury, Louise Bilbrough of Denton and Mary Daiker of Greene, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at the Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second Street, Denton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Denton Cemetery, Denton.

William O. 'Bill' Bell, 84
William O. Bell, 'Bill' to his friends, of Milford died of leukemia Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, in Seaford Retirement and Rehabilitation Center of Genesis ElderCare, Seaford. He was 84.
Mr. Bell was born Jan. 24, 1914, in Easton, Md., the son of the late Olen Sinclair Ball and Marjorie (Collier) Bell.
He married Lurane Christine Burt May 1, 1937.
Mr. Bell served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He graduated from the Surgical Technicians School at Fort Sam Houston and served in North Africa and with the Occupational Forces in the European Theater in France and Germany. He was honorably discharged July 12, 1946.
Mr. Bell was employed by Acme Markets for 30 years in managerial positions in Easton, Md., Federalsburg, Md., and Bridgeville, until his retirement in 1975.
He was a founding member of the Federalsburg Church of God. He volunteered at Milford Memorial Hospital, compiling 4,500 hours of service, and was was very active in the Milford Church of God and the senior activity group 'Keen-Agers.'
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Bell; and a sister, Anne Bell.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lurene (Burt) Bell; a son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Karen Bell of Lincoln; two brothers, Olen C. Bell of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Robert Bell of Wilmington; and two grandsons, Reese Edward Bell and Jon Ian Bell, both of Milford.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. today in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.

WILMINGTON - Charlotte Bottomley Brown of Wilmington died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998, in her home. She was 68.
Mrs. Brown was born in Centreville, Md., the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle McFarland Bottomley.
She graduated from Centreville High School with the class of 1949.
She married James Walter Brown of Henderson, Md., April 12, 1952. They lived in Centreville, then in Church Hill, Md., and, in 1960, moved to Wilmington.
Mrs. Brown worked as a housekeeper for Irenee duPont Jr. of Wilmington for over 32 years.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Dawn Welsh and Donald Welsh of Wilmington; a brother, Donald T. Bottomley of Chestertown, Md.; and two sisters, Margaret Skinner of Sudlersville, Md., and Carlos Dlugoborski of Rock Hall, Md.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church Hill Cemetery, Church Hill.

FELTON - Henry Ceaser of Felton died of natural causes Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Seaford Retirement and Rehabilitation Center of Genesis ElderCare, Seaford. He was 91.
Mr. Ceaser was born Dec. 6, 1907, in Welsh, La., the son of the late Leonard and Julia Ceaser.
He was a high school graduate.
Mr. Ceaser worked for the U.S. Civil Service.
He was a deacon at St. John's Baptist Church, Millsboro.
He is survived by two daughters, Julia Gullett of Lancaster, Pa., and Charmaine Graham of Philadelphia.

Robert M. 'Stacky' Daniels, 58
CHESTER, Pa. - Robert M. 'Stacky' Deaniels of Chester died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Chester. He was 58.
Mr. Daniels was born in Hartly, Del., and had lived in Chester most of his life.
He worked for many years at Stacky's Hoagie Shop in Chester. He also worked for the Baldt Anchor Co. and was a bartender in many bars throughout Chester.
Mr. Daniels was formerly a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Bridgeford Daniels of Chester; two daughters, Deborah Daniels of Woodlyn and Robin M. Daniels of Chester; seven brothers, John Daniels of Media, Marvin Purnell Daniels of Chester, Wallace Daniels of Hartly, Ronald Daniels and Aubrey Daniels, both of Chester, Michael Daniels of Lancaster and Matthias Daniels of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Dr. Karen Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

George William Fleetwood, 72
GEORGETOWN - George William Fleetwood of Georgetown died of congestive heart failure Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, in Chatham Acres Nursing Home, Chatham, Pa. He was 72.
Mr. Fleetwood was born in Seaford, the son of the late Roland Horace and Edna Elsie Mitchell Fleetwood.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Fleetwood was a millwright, working out of Carpenters and Millwrights Local 2012, Seaford, retiring in 1981 on disability after 30 years of service.
He was a life member and past commander of Virgil Wilson Post 4961, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Seaford.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Katherine Frances Briggs Fleetwood; two daughters, Katherine F. Perdue of Georgetown and Sandra J. Massaro of Seaford; a brother, Jack R. Fleetwood of Richardson Park, Wilmington; and four grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, with the Rev. Richard P. Blades officiating.

MILFORD - Mildred Ruth Gardiner of Milford died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, in Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. She was 86.
Mrs. Gardiner was born Dec. 11, 1912, in Scranton, Pa., the daughter of the late Ivor and Elizabeth Jones.
She married Alfred William Gardiner Dec. 11, 1943, in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Hill and Saron Jones.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Alfred W. Gardiner Jr. of Leonardtown, Md.,; a daughter, Linda Lee Harp of Alexandria, Va.; a brother, Archibald Jones of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Alice Barrow Cliff of Wilmington; and three grandchildren.
Service will be noon today at the Chapel of Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, 41590 Fenwick St., Leonardtown, with the Rev. William McClean officiating.
