CLARKSVILLE - David M. Snead of Clarksville, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, of pneumonia. He was 62.
Mr. Snead was born in Exmore, Va., the son of the late James and Leola Chisum Snead.
He was employed by Bob's Marine Service, Clarksville, prior to his illness.
He is survived by three brothers, James Snead and Ross Snead, both of Millsboro, and Joseph Snead of Spring Valley, N.Y.; a sister, Evelyn L. Hall of Clarksville, with whom he lived; and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, with Mr. Leroy Snead officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville, Md.
Roger Keith Mallery, 31
CAMDEN - Roger Keith Mallery of Camden, died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, in his home. He was 31.
Mr. Mallery was born March 25, 1967, in Fort Benning, Ga., the son of Lawrence and Virginia Mallery of Dover.
He had worked as a painter for 15 years, most recently for G.T. Painting of Dover.
Mr. Mallery enjoyed fishing, country music and dancing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Roger K. Mallery Jr.; a brother, Larry Mallery of Frederica; a sister, Michelle Spaulding of Hockessin; his paternal grandmother, Helen L. Mallery of Cumberland, Md.; three nieces; four nephews; and a loving companion, Karen Smith of Camden.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
Alphonso J. 'Georgia Peach' Garmon, 67
DOVER - Alphonso J. 'Georgia Peach' Garmon of Dover, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, in Bayhealth, Kent General Hospital. He was 67.
Mr. Garmon was born in Fort Valley, Ga., in 1931, the son of the late Willie F. Woolford.
He drove trucks for several years, worked for Con-Agra in Milford, and the Independent Newspapers Inc. in Dover.
He loved fishing and watching baseball.
Mr. Garmon was a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church of Dover.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie M. Garmon, on Aug. 30, 1991.
He is survived by four daughters, Eva D. Small of Magnolia, Sheryl M. Garmon of Pompano Beach, Fla., Patricia Haggins of Dearfield Beach, Fla. and Beverly Martin of Chicago; a son-in-law, Jimmy Smalls of Magnolia; his stepfather, Brooks Woolford of Dover; a sister-in-law, Sallie Stubbs of Deerfield Beach; a brother-in-law, Carroll Stubbs of Deerfield Beach; a grandson-in-law, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Service will be noon Wednesday at Mt. Zion AME Church, Queen Street, Dover. The Rev. Coleman will officiate.

Frank Joseph Willey, 95
HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Frank Joseph Willey of Hilton Head, formerly of Bridgeville, Del., died of congestive heart failure, Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, in Hilton Head Medical Center. He was 95.
Mr. Willey was a lifelong resident of Bridgeville.
He made his home with his daughter for the past several years.
He served in the U.S. Railway Mail Service and later the Rural Delivery Service for 44 years, retiring in 1972.
Mr. Willey was past president of the Delaware Rural Letter Carriers Association. He was former president and former fire chief of the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Co. and was also past president of the Sussex County Firemen's Association. Mr. Willey served as a junior and senior warden of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bridgeville and was first vice president and superintendent of the Bridgeville Cemetery Association. He also served as a director and secretary/treasurer of the Bridgeville Building and Loan Association for 50 years. He was a member of the Bridgeville Kiwanis Club and the Hiram Lodge 21, A.F. and A.M. in Seaford. Mr. Willey was an active member of the Sussex County Democratic Party and served as a Bridgeville area committeeman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Kathryn Hurlock in 1979.
He is survived by his daughter, Jayne W. Smith of Hilton Head; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, William Street, Bridgeville.

S. CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Delema Warren Banning of S. Charleston, formerly of Milford, Del., died after a long illness Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, in the Valley Health Village in West Virginia. She was 93.
She was preceded in death by a son, Forrest F. Banning, formerly of Milford.
She is survived by two grandsons, Wayne Banning of Scott Depot, W.V., and Gary Banning of Steilacoom, Wash.; two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford.

Charles Ross Donovan Sr., 83
WILMINGTON - Charles Ross Donovan Sr. of Wilmington, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, in Riverside Extended Care, Wilmington. He was 83.
Mr. Donovan was born in Lincoln, the son of the late Wilford B. and Emma Ross Donovan.
He was the retired owner of C.R. Donovan Crawford Door Sales Company.
Mr. Donovan was acting secretary of the Wilmington Lions Club for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Taylor Donovan; two sons, C. Ross Donovan Jr. of Wilmington and G. Eugene Donovan of Shewsbury, Pa.; a sister, Charlotte Donovan Peoples of Cambridge, Md., and two grandchildren.

DOVER - Thelma Virginia Seabrooks of Dover died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, in Kent General Hospital. She was 67.
Ms. Seabrooks was born in 1931, the daughter of Blanch Poole Sylvester and the late Paul Sylvester.
She was born and raised, and attended school, in Elizabeth City, N.C.
She was survived by twin daughters, Abbygale Seabrooks and Abbydale Finney, both of Dover; a son, Herbert Seabrooks of Dover; a stepdaughter, Bertha Winslett of Brookville, Fla.; a son-in-law, Jimmy L. Finney of Dover; two sisters, Johnetta Atkins of Dover and Onella Etheridge; five brothers, Melvin Sylvester of Elizabeth City, Roland Morning and Harry Lee Morning, both of Pittsburg, Calif., Paul Sylvester of Charlotte, N.C., and James Morning of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two devoted friends, George Johnson and Ernestine Johnson, both of Smyrna; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service will be noon Saturday at Bibleway Temple COGIC in Dover, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

HARRINGTON - Ethel A. Rash of Harrington, died of heart failure Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 78.
Mrs. Rash retired in 1978 from D. and R. Trailer Sales, a family-owned business.
She was a member of the Harrington Senior Center and the American Legion Auxillary of Harrington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson, in 1987.
She is survived by a brother, Wilson H. Morris of Milford; a sister, Evelyn J. Smith of Harrington; a brother-in-law, Elmer Minner of Harrington; five nephews, Mark Newcomer, Roger Morris and Donald Morris, all of Milford, Jason Hill and Trinity Thompson, both of Harrington; and six nieces, Judy Sard of Milford, Carol Neville of Lincoln, Teresa Thompson of Harrington, Deborah Hoff of Felton, and Julie Hill and Katrina Thompson both of Harrington.

James Franklin Marine Sr., 79
NEWARK - James Franklin Marine Sr. of Newark, died of cancer Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, in his home. He was 79.
Mr. Marine retired in 1978 from the DuPont Company Louviers Site, where he worked as an accountant for 36 years.
He was a member of the DuPont Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred Ennis Marine; two sons, James F. Marine Jr. of Wilmington and Jack D. Marine of Burke, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Emma J. Powell, 77
GEORGETOWN - Emma J. Powell of Georgetown, and formerly of Lewes died of heart failure Friday, Oct. 9, 1998, in the Lewes Convalescent Center, Lewes. She was 77.
Mrs. Powell had been a seamstress at the Sewing Room in Stockley Center, Hospital for the Mentally Retarded near Georgetown, retiring in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Powell, in 1971, and two sisters, Stella and Trudy.
She is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Margie and Fred Stovall of Moran, Texas, Elinor and Ron Bawek of Harrington and Betty Doering of Georgetown; her mother, Matilda Foskey of Berlin, Md.; six brothers, Joshua Chandler of Dover, James and Linford Chandler both of Laurel, Clifford Foskey, Alton Foskey and Charles Foskey, all of Maryland; two sisters, Irene McNamira of Dover and Irma Lee of Maryland; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
