Miss Madeline Manlove Entertained in Honor of Miss Hutchison
The members of the “500” Club are to be entertained by Mrs. Fred Brady and Mrs. Cuthbert Green at the home of Mrs. Brady on Friday of this week.
A very enjoyable time was spent at the Cheerie Tea House one day last week, when Miss Laura Willits was hostess to some friends at a bridge luncheon. Miss Willits’ guests were: Mrs. William D. Bradford, Mrs. Harry Bradford, Mrs. William Connellee, Mrs. Cuthbert Green, Mrs. Edward Vaughan, Mrs. J. Frank Biggs and Miss Spruance, of Odessa.
Miss Madeline Manlove was hostess at a delightful lawn bridge and variety shower at “Ramble Inn,” Blackbird, Del., on Thursday afternoon, July 14, given in honor of Miss Miriam P. Hutchison, of Townsend, who is to be one of the brides of the season. Prizes were won by Mrs. Franklin Taylor and Miss Miriam P. Hutchison. The guests were: Mrs. Dallas Hart, Mrs. Irving Hart, Mrs. Joseph Pritchard, Mrs. Lester Daniels, Mrs. Leon Buckson, Miss Miriam Hutchison, Mrs. John Lawrence, Mrs. Edgar Watts, Mrs. Alonzo Cleaver, Mrs. James A. Hart, Jr., Miss Ethelwyn Maloney, of Townsend; Mrs. Davis Bell of Smyrna; Mrs. Franklin Taylor, of Wilmington, Del. The bride-elect received many useful and beautiful gifts.
MADGE BELLAMY IS AN IRISH COLLEEN
Madge Bellamy is starred in “Colleen,” the Fox Films production which will be shown at the Everett Theatre for a one day run beginning Monday, July 25th. J. Farrell MacDonald, Charles Morton, Sarah Padden, Tom Maguire, Marjorie Beebe, Sammy Cohen and Ted McNamara are also included in the cast. Frank O’Connor directed the production.

Judge J.F. Rutherford, President of the International Bible students Association will deliver an address at the international convention of Bible students in Toronto, Canada, Sunday afternoon at three o’clock, eastern standard time, which will be broadcasted by all the important radio stations. All radio listeners in will have the opportunity of hearing this wonderful address.
