She was born in Virginia, and moved to Delaware in her youth. She had formerly been employed for many years as a bartender at the Fountain Rock, American Legion Post 14, and the Frontier Room, all in Smyrna. She had also been a cashier at the Smyrna Texaco, and at the Rt. 8 Stop & Go in Dover.
She enjoyed playing Scrabble and other board games, as well as participating in road rallies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert F. Ragsdale, in 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Teressa Teri Denson, of Camden; a son, William Ragsdale, of Smyrna; a special longtime companion with whom she had lived, Robert Brownie Brown; three grandchildren, Jason Denson, of Camden, Andrea Denson, of Smyrna, and Seth Ragsdale, of Smyrna; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Denson, of Camden; two step-daughters, Diana Moores, of Mass., and MaryAnne Healey, of Camden; four brothers, Norman Windsor, of Wilmington, Lee Windsor, of Utah, Linwood Windsor, of Ohio, and Malcom Windsor, of Nevada; five sisters, Lucille Tharpe, June Poore, and Alicia Rose, all of Newark, Paula Fitzgerald, of Wilmington, and Judy Council, of Smyrna.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna.

John H. Evans
Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Mary Ann Reese Evans. John was a truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight in Wilmington for 27 years retiring in 1986. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the VFW Post #7422 in Millsboro and American Legion Post #19 in Laurel. Also he was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a Commodore of the Indian River Yacht Club in 1975.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edith Ann Powell Evans; two sons, John H. Evans, Jr. of Townsend, Michael P. Evans of Newark; three daughters, Lois A. Goodchild and Susan Deitrich both of Newark and Patti Truitt of Marydel, Md.; three sisters, Catherine Crompton of St. Georges, Florence Wheatly of Bear and Elsie Lowell of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday at the Daniels & Hutchinson Funeral Home, Middletown. Interment was in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

Phyllis Allen Murdock Bell
Mrs. Bell was born on February 26, 1934 to Earl and Maude Allen in Sophia, W.V.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and her husband, Robert Bell in 1991.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna Robertson of Sevierville, Tenn., Pat Corbin of Chattanooga, Tenn. and formerly of Middletown, and Peggy Gibson of Kodak, Tenn.; her sons, Buddy and Bill Murdock, both of Hernando, Miss.; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, all who were the loves of her life.
Mrs. Bell is also survived by three sisters, Betty Randow, Sally Pritchard and Sarah Sharp; three brothers, Bob, Jimmy and Duke Allen; and a host of nieces and nephews who referred to her as their favorite aunt.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 in the Chapel at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., in Bear. Friends may call from 11:30 to 12:30 a.m. at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown on Thursday.
Tula C. Mylar
Born and raised in California, she married a career Army officer, James L. Mylar, who passed on before her. A son, Kem, was born in Georgia. Over the years their family was stationed three times in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was outgoing and full of life. Tula made numerous friends over the years and will be missed by many.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. at St. Polycarp RC Church in Smyrna.
Lillian G. Alexander
Service will be held on Thurs., Dec. 19 at 11 am at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Millington, Md., where friends may call after 9:30 a.m.
Walter A. Woods, Jr.
Mr. Woods was the son of the late Walter Woods and Florence Finch. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He loved caring for animals.
He is survived by a friend, Gudrun Zedney of Townsend, and has no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will be private.

Services will be Tues., Dec. 24 at 11:30 am in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 22 N. Union St., where friends may call from 10-11:30 a.m.
Charles W. Boyd III
Charles was a creative artist who painted beautiful sceneries. He also enjoyed reading various novels.
He is survived by his parents, Charles W. Boyd Jr. and Debra L. Stafford Boyd; brothers, Christopher W. Boyd and his wife Stacy Dillmore, Chad W. Boyd and his wife English, and Brian K. Lynch; sister, Angel Kargin and her husband Steve; four nieces; one nephew; and dear friends, Kate and Dave.
Funeral services were held Dec. 9 at the Gebhart Funeral Home, Claymont. Burial was held privately.
Earle J. Lester
Mr. Lester was born, raised and lived most of his life in St Georges. He graduated from Delaware City High School in 1941. Earle enlisted and served for three years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, and participated in the African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns during World War II, for which he was awarded six Campaign Stars and a Unit Citation. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal.
He is a Life Member of the VFW 3792. He was active in his family farming and canning businesses. In the early 70s, he opened and operated the Lester Bros. Market in St. Georges. Earle was appointed and served on the Delaware Public Service Commission for more than 20 years. He also served at the national level as a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commission s Water Committee from 1973 to 1991, the NARUC Executive Committee from 1978 to 1980, and the NARUC Ad Hoc Committee on Regulatory Research from 1978 to 1980. He was elected president of the Great Lakes Conference of Public Utility Commissioners in 1977 after serving the regional regulatory organization as second vice president and secretary-treasurer. In 1979, he and his wife Mary opened the ChesDel Restaurant.
After dedicating 20 years of their lives and their love for the restaurant, Earle and Mary retired to Ft. Myers Beach, Fla. He was a member of Jackson Lodge No. 19 A.F. & AM, Del. City, since 1960, a life member of The Scottish Rite 32 degree Valley of Wilmington, a member of Nur Temple Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. and past director of Delaware Court No. 164 Royal Order Of Jesters and past president of Mid-Atlantic Jesters Association 1980 to 81.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary; parents C.N. and Eleanor Lester; stepmother Edith Lester; brother Claude Cobby Lester and son David J. Lester.
He is survived by his brother, Richard Lester of St. Georges; daughter Dawn E. Lester of St. Georges; daughter Donna M. Lester and her twin daughters, Kate and Leslie Anne, of Hockessin; grandson, and Darren J. Lester and his wife Carol, and their children, Kaylee and Ryan, of Middletown. Special Thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of Joanne s House (Hope Hospice).
A funeral service was held Dec. 10 at Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, followed by interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.

Mildred B. MacDonald
Mildred was born Nov. 26, 1909, in Hanover, Pa. In her youth, she worked as a bookkeeper. In 1935, she married Frederick MacDonald. During their 43 years of marriage, they lived in Philadelphia, Pa., Hanover, Pa., Wilmington and Havertown, Pa. They loved to travel and made numerous trips to their beloved Scotland before Fred's death in 1979. Mildred enjoyed a lifetime love of learning, never missing an opportunity to be educated or to educate.
She was interested in history and had been a devoted member of the Scottish Historic and Research Society. Throughout much of her life, Mildred was a dedicated and hard working volunteer. She was active in the Girl Scouts of Hanover, The Blood Bank of Delaware, Trinity Church in Hanover, Havertown United Methodist Church and Limestone Presbyterian Church in Wilmington.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Edward Ashton of Middletown; grandson, Joseph Ashton and his wife Elizabeth, of Wilmington; granddaughter, Laurie Waldron and her husband Mark; and great-grandson, Conner Waldron of Centreville, Va.
A memorial service, to be held on Hanover, Pa., will be announced at a later date.

Warren C. Elston
Warren was a dedicated husband and father. His family came first and his care and consideration for others went above his own needs. He enjoyed farming, working in his shop, and completing projects on his honey-do list. Over his lifetime, he enjoyed working as a machinist for Pusey and Jones, as a fence erector for Pioneer Fence, and he especially loved his years as a dairy farmer in his hometown of Middletown. His pleasant manner earned him friends wherever he went. He never had an unkind word for anyone and was one sweet man.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Hilda Nickerson Elston. He is survived by his daughter, Joan Elston, and her companion Edward Louis of Middletown; and son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Elaine Elston of Hartly; as well as four granddaughters, Amanda, Janet, Hayley and RuthAnn, and one grandson, Ransom Elston, who all brought him great happiness in his retirement years. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
A service was held Dec. 12 in the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, with burial in the adjoining memorial park.
Delores R. Corbett
Delores was born in Branchdale, Pa., on March, 26, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen Corbett, Schuylkill Haven, Pa. She was a retired real estate agent and a talented wedding floral designer. She was a member of St. Joseph s Catholic Church, Middletown. She will be sadly missed by all fortunate to have known her.
She is survived by three daughters, Lee-Anne Faust, of York, Pa., Tracey DiRusso, of Salisbury, Md., and Dawn McSurdy of Middletown; two brothers, James Corbett, of Fort Largo, Fla., Ronald Corbett, of Wilmington, and a sister Patricia Momot, of Rehoboth. Delores was the proud grandmother of five; Andrew and Timothy Faust, Nicole and Rebeka DiRusso, and Shannon McSurdy.
Effie B. Reynolds
Effie was born Feb. 17, 1924; Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker as well as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Gilbert S. Reynolds Sr., who passed away in October 2004; and her daughter, Margaret Dilling, in October 2000.
She is survived by her children, G. Samuel Reynolds Jr., Gregory B. Reynolds and his wife Debra, Lynn Craig and her husband Kelvin, and Dawn Reynolds, all of Middletown; one sister, Beulah Addison, of Cape Charles, Va.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Dec. 14 at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, Middletown. Interment was in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.

Thomas H. P. Beam
Thom was born the only child of the late Thomas Beam and Elizabeth Whyte Beam in 1938. He was born in Philadelphia, but the family moved to Blackbird when Thom was just a small boy. He graduated from Salesianum High School in 1956. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He then held various building maintenance positions for the rest of his life. His most recent employment of six years was spent working for Commonwealth - Emory Hill Development, Inc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bridget Beam on Sept. 4, 2005. He is survived by his three children and their families, his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Karl Kraus of Middletown; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Tabatha Beam of Middletown; and his daughter and son-in-law, with whom he lived, Bridget and Raymond Strano of Newark. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Annie and Elaine Brejwa, Tommy, Tyler, Trent, Kira, Takoda and Kayla Beam, and Raymond, Trista and Libby Strano; two step-grandchildren Shannon and Stacey Kraus; and two step-great-grandsons, Dylan Sutton and Payton Wellington. He is also survived by his Christian family at New Life Christian Fellowship.
Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m., in the Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown. Interment will be in Old Drawyers Cemetery near Odessa.

Marion Anne Bernal
Marion was born June 13, 1939, in Cecilton, Md.; she was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace Legg Miller. Mrs. Bernal retired from Chrysler Corp., Newark, where she worked in food service. She was a member of UAW Local No. 1183, Newark. An avid gardener, her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bernal was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela L. Beamer. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Manuel A. Bernal; children, Deborah A. Smith, of Elkton, Md., Sandra M. Gail, of Nottingham, Pa., Karleen G. Shorts and Billy L. Beamer, both of Newark; siblings, Sarah Jane Ray, of Elkton, Md, Harold Miller Jr., of Middletown and Johnny Miller, of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Lonnie Uncle Bunky Dixon, who has been a loving and devoted person to the family for many years.
A funeral service was held Dec. 13 at Hicks Home for Funerals. Interment was in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, Md.
Frances J. Indellini
Frances was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Wilmington.
A service was held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Bear, on Dec. 12. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
Ernest B. Coverdale
Mr. Coverdale was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Felton, to the late Frank Coverdale and Arminta Killen Coverdale. He retired from Speakman Company in Wilmington. After 42 years as a brass polisher, he also worked part-time at The Devon Apartments in Wilmington and Klenk Industries in Newark. After his retirement, he never slowed down. He illuminated a room with his presence and was famous for his quick wit and ravenous appetite. A lifelong harness racing fan, he was a fixture at Brandywine Raceway. His golden years were spent enjoying the company of family and friends, tending his garden, getting into mischief, trying to hit the jackpot at Delaware Park and was an avid fox hunter. Ernie was a unique individual whose memory will never die.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jack B. Coverdale, in 1940. Ernie is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances, of Newark; his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Mary Ann Coverdale, of Snow Hill, Md.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Dennis Mikell, of Dover, and Debi and John Wray, of Middletown; grandchildren, Jas Lil Ern Wray and Jackie Andress and her husband Will; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Trae Andress.
A memorial service was held Dec. 11 at Tobert Funeral Chapel.
Ronald Lee Reed
He was the son of the late Charles H. Reed Sr. and the late Nellie Ryan Reed of Townsend. Born in Kent General Hospital, Dover, Ronald grew up on the family farm on the Walker's School to Taylor's Bridge Road, where he desired to remain for the rest of his life. It was there, in the driveway of the old farmhouse, that he passed away. Ronald graduated from the John Bassett Moore School in Smyrna and continued his education at the Goldey Beacom College, then in Wilmington.
After college, he continued to live on the family farm, helping his parents maintain a fully working farm well into their retirement. Ronald worked for most of his adult years at the Scott Paper Company and its successors in Dover, where he won many performance and attendance awards. Ronald spent his last years enjoying his farm and was a dedicated arborist, planting and caring for many specimens of trees. He enjoyed visits with his neighbors and breakfasts with the McDonald s Coffee Clutch. All during his life, he gave freely of his time and resources always majorly giving at Christmas.
He is survived by brothers Robert L. Reed of Hockessin, and Richard E. Reed of Dover; a sister, Carol Ann Furr of Smyrna; and several cousins, nieces and nephews, including Lt. Cmdr. Nathaniel Robert Reed U.S.N. of Groton, Conn.
A service was held Dec. 13 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, Smyrna. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
Charitable contributions in Mr. Reed's memory may be made to the Friendship Cemetery Association, Attn: Mr. John Dukes, 279 Cedar Swamp Road, Townsend, DE 19734.
Olwen Ross
Olwen was born May 28, 1918, raised in Old Forge, Pa., where she taught first grade before moving to Wilmington during the early 40s. She worked for Dravo Corporation, where she met her future husband, and later worked for Wilmington Trust Company. Following her retirement in the mid 1980s, she moved from New Castle to Rehoboth and later to Lewes. She had been a member of Asbury Methodist Church since 1949 and taught Sunday school there. She enjoyed the beach lifestyle, loved to bake, and was especially fond of music from the swing era.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Eugene Ross, in 1975; and her grandson, Robert E. Ross III, in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Ross Jr. and his wife Marcia, of Newark, and Stephen W. Ross and his wife Paula, of Middletown; and grandchildren, Kristen J. Ross, Stephanie R. McGroarty, Danielle A. Kowalski and Brianna E. Ross.
The family is very grateful to the many caregivers who helped Ollie in the closing months of her life.
Mrs. Ross was laid to rest next to her husband in Gracelawn Memorial Park. A funeral service was held in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, on Dec. 12.

Amanda Lyn Miller
Amanda was born Sept. 9, 1988, in Newark. She was a senior at Middletown High School, where she was a member of the Interact and French clubs. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, horseback riding and hiking in the Poconos.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vincent and Muriel Barnes. She is survived by her father, Robert Miller of Bear; her mother, Debra Miller and her companion Richard Spicer, of Middletown; a brother, Robert J. Miller of Middletown; paternal grandparents, Garth and Joan Miller of Florida; maternal uncles James Barnes, Roger Barnes and his wife Evelyn, and Bob Barnes and his wife Evelyn, all of Newark; maternal aunts Sally Miller and her husband Ed, and Mitzi Moyer and her husband Tim, all of Newark; paternal aunts Jean Miller and her husband Robert, of DeLand, Fla., and Deborah Hall of Newark; paternal uncles Gary Miller and his wife Becky, of Jacksonville, Fla., Keith Miller and his wife Janice, of Newark, Danny Miller and his wife Cheryl, of Dover, and Earl Miller and his wife Jennifer, of North East, Md.; numerous cousins; and best friend, Katie Rawls.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, at the R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711, where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Ruth H. Thornton
She was the wife of Norman M. Thornton for 59 years. Mrs. Thornton was born and raised in Mamaroneck, N.Y. She lived most of her married life at St. Andrew s School, where her husband was the business manager for what would become a 30-year tour, (1952 to 1983). They moved to Yarmouthport in 1983 after spending many summers on Cape Cod. She was an elementary school teacher and homemaker. She loved to sew, knit and garden and won many awards for her flower arranging. She served as a docent in the Corbit-Sharp House, Odessa, and became an expert in 18th century colonial furniture. She was a former member of St. Anne s Episcopal Church in Middletown, where she taught Sunday school and served on the altar guild; she also served on diocesan committees.
Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Norman Edward Thornton of Northfield, Mass.; a daughter, Barbara McBride of Middletown, Vt.; a sister, Margaret Bilcheck of Florida; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at St. Mary s Episcopal Church, Barnstable, Mass. Interment will be in old St. Anne s Cemetery, Middletown, at a later date.

Adele Hale
She was a registered nurse at the former Delaware Hospital in Wilmington, retiring in 1980 after many years service. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and an active member of the Contact Hotline.
Her husband of 55 years, Harold E. Hale Sr., died in 1996. Adele is survived by her children, Grace E. Saylor of Lake Wylie, S.C., Kathleen Hudson of Wilmington, RoseMary Glazewski of Middletown, Sam Hale of St. Michaels, Md., Allan Hale of Newark and Roger Hale of Freeport, Maine; brothers, James E. Barnes Jr. of New Castle and Harry Barnes of Stanton; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, DuPont Highway, New Castle, where family and friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in the adjoining memorial park.

Robert C. Guldin
He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late William and Catherine Guldin.
Mr. Guldin was employed as a carpenter for many years with Scott Co. Construction, of Wilmington. He had most recently worked as a delivery driver for DiBiaso s Florist in Middletown.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict having served from 1964-1968. He was awarded two Bronze Stars.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah A. Powers-Guldin, of Smyrna; two sons, Robbie, of New Jersey; and Eliott, of Ohio; two daughters, Dawn, of Phila.; and Louise Ann, of New Jersey; a brother, Mark Guldin, of Phila; a sister, Kathy Macklin, of Phila.; two stepsons, Jason, and Dillon, with whom he lived; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Dec. 13 at First Presbyterian Church, 118 W. Commerce St., Smyrna.
Interment will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

Violette B. Wick
Mrs. Wick was born October 2, 1907 in Preles, Switzerland to the late John and Adele Giauque Brunner. At age 14, Violette left her parents and two sisters to emigrate from Switzerland to New York. Traveling with an aunt, she was hired by a couple on Long Island as a housekeeper. Soon, she asked to care for the four children instead.
She met her husband, Joseph Wick, and together they started a flower shop. Using Violette's talents as a floral designer, the shop became a thriving business. She was one of the first women to combine a career with raising a family. After retirement, Violette, at the age of 65, turned to painting with oils and watercolors. Opening a studio in Smyrna, Violette's paintings were displayed at local restaurants and she won many awards at area art shows. Violette will be long remembered by her family and friends as a loving, caring and gracious lady, and she will surely be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1994.
She is survived by four children, Joan Wick Buck, Joseph Wick and his wife, Patricia, all of Smyrna, Frederick Wick and his wife, Mary of Millington, Md., Pauline Wick Blehart and her husband, Jack of Wyoming; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 9 at the Smyrna Wesleyan Church. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE, 19901 or to the ARC of Delaware, PO Box 563, Dover, DE 19903.
Dorothy E. Gomeringer
Mrs. Gomeringer was born May 5, 1919 near Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late George and Ethel Krugler Oursler. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy R. Gomeringer; two sons, Robert L. Gomeringer of Valrico, Fla. and Kenneth W. Gomeringer of Jackson, WY; a daughter, Diane E. Organ of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a sister, "Sis" Clemo of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren, Timothy W. Gomeringer of Kenton, Donna J. Kelley of Camden-Wyoming, Denise Workman of New Castle, James DaCosta of Claymont, Kenneth W. Gomeringer of Deepwater, N.J. and Dawn Gomeringer of Philadelphia, Pa.; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, Dec. 9 in the Smyrna Wesleyan Church, 433 West Commerce Street Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
Annie C. Fones
Born in Hyacinth, Va. on March 14, 1910, Mrs. Fones was the daughter of the late John A. and Lilly (King) Connllee.
She retired after many years working at Newark Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Fones was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Middletown, a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Wilmington, and a member of Gold Star Mothers.
Mrs. Fones was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Fones, in 1966. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Henry L. Fones and Paul M. Fones.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen D. Alford of Middletown; a sister, Mary Jane Dawson of Kilmonaic, Va.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 9, at the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
