Warren T. Boyce, 92
LAUREL - Warren T. Boyce of Laurel died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He was 92.
Mr. Boyce was born in Laurel, son of the late Charles and Mabel Boyce.
He retired as manager of the Laurel Southern States. He was also a poultry grower.
Mr. Boyce was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Laurel, and Laurel Odd Fellows Lodge 146.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Warren Boyce; three brothers, Harley, Walter and Robert Boyce; and two sisters, Elizabeth Cordrey and Catherine Pusey.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen E. Boyce of Laurel; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and E. Roy Owens of Chestertown, Md.; two grandchildren, Susan Broyles of Chestertown and Jeffrey T. Elliott of Seaford; four great grandchildren, Brian and Dustin Broyles and Thomas and Tyler Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Short Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Zion U.M. Church, Laurel, where friends also may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel.
Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Zion U.M. Church, P.O. Box 187, Bethel, DE 19931.

Pauline H. (Seramone) Connor, 78
WILMINGTON - Pauline L. (Seramone) Connor of Wilmington died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Wilmington, surrounded by her family. She was 78.
Mrs. Connor was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Sebastiano and Madelina (Cuomo) Seramone.
She was a homemaker.
Among her many interests, she was an avid golfer, enjoyed sewing and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Connor was a member of the Elks Women's Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph F. Connor, Jan. 23, 2000; a grandson, Richard Soukey; three brothers, Domenick Seramone, Michael Seramone and Sebastian Seramone; and a niece, Lynn Reeve.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Arlene and Frank Soukey of Millsboro and Patti Connor of Wilmington; a son, Willard Connor of Dover; three grandchildren and the husband of one, Jessica and Derek Dutton of Milton, Shannon Connor of Roanoke, Va., and Michael Connor of Oak Orchard; two great-grandsons, Ronan Dutton of Milton and Jacob Connor of Roanoke; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Agnes and Joseph Sisto of Philadelphia, Rose and Joseph Schorah of Georgetown and Theresa and Roy Riddleberger of Wilmington; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Seramone and Richard Seramone, all of Wilmington; another sister-in-law, Eleanor Seramone of Wilmington; another brother-in-law, James Connor of Seaford; close family friends, Thomas Garner and Gloria Socorso, both of Wilmington; and 78 nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home, 2309 Lancaster Ave. (opposite Cathedral Cemetery), Wilmington.
Mass of Christian burial will be noon Thursday in St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Du Pont streets, Wilmington.
Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Christiana Care Foundation for the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, P.O. Box 1668, Wilmington, DE 19899.

Marshall Dane Craft Sr., 60
GEORGETOWN - Marshall Dane Craft Sr. of Georgetown died Monday, March 3, 2003, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 60.
Mr. Craft was born in Rupert, W.Va., son of the late Clarence Craft and Madeline Collison Craft.
He had owned different businesses in Bridgeville for 36 years, retiring in June of 2002. He had also served as Police Chief for Ocean Pines in the early 1970s.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Craft; two daughters, Karen Elliott of Dagsboro and Melissa Craft of Baltimore; three sons, M. Dane Craft Jr. of Seaford, Dennis Craft of Philadelphia and Michael Craft of Millsboro; two sisters, Joann Anderson of Bethel and Phyllis Becker of White Sulphur, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Elliott of Dagsboro, Ryan and Amy Craft of Seaford and Christopher and Sarah Craft of Millsboro; five nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Helen Cugler of Seaford.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville.
Graveside services will be noon Friday in Wallace Memorial Park, Clintonville, W.Va.
Instead of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1138 Parsons Road, Salisbury, MD. 21801.

Virginia M. (Smith) Dempsey, 75
ELSMERE - Mrs. Virginia M. (Smith) Dempsey of Elsmere died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, in Christiana Hospital, Newark. She was 75.
Mrs. Dempsey was a private care companion at Cokesbury Village.
Mrs. Dempsey was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and mom-mom to all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clifford N. Dempsey Sr.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Dimitri Saloman of Bear, Jane and Ernie Skaggs of Clayton, Linda and Chuck Crossan of Elsmere and Laurie and Rob Raker of Williamsport, Pa.; a son and daughter-in-law, C. Nelson Jr. and Carol Dempsey of Wilmington; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. Du Pont Parkway, Wilmington Manor, New Castle.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.

Margaret W. Emory, 72
MILFORD - Margaret W. Emory of Milford died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. She was 72.
Mrs. Emory was born Sept. 19, 1930 in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late William R. and Anna Dulin Walls.
She was employed for several years as a senior secretary with the Milford School District, retiring in 1977.
She found great pleasure in hosting a Christmas bazaar for many years in her home. She and other family members started months in advance sewing, stitching and painting homemade items for the event. She also enjoyed reading and spending winters in Clearwater, Fla.
Mrs. Emory was a member of "Club 7."
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Doug Emory; two sons, Jeffery D. Emory and Russell L. Emory, both of Seaford; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Harry Greenly of Milford; two brothers, John W. Walls and Louis Walls of Milford; a sister, Patricia Pleasanton of Milford; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Nauman, Kelly M. Emory and Rusty Emory.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford.

Althea Williams Hopps, 80
DOVER - Althea Williams Hopps of Dover died of natural causes Saturday, March 1, 2003, in her home. She was 80.
Mrs. Hopps was born Dec. 8, 1922, in St. Augustine, Fla., daughter of the late Samuel and Nefalee Williams.
She accepted Christ at an early age.
Mrs. Hopps met and married Jack Hopps, who died in 1998. They raised seven children, then moved to Jamaica, N.Y.
She retired from Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York in 1984.
Mrs. Hopps was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jamaica, and transferred her Christian experience to Harvest Outreach Worship Center in Smyrna.
She is survived by seven children; two nieces; a nephew; an uncle; an aunt; four daughters-in-law; a brother-in-law; two sons-in-law; 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, a great-great-niece and loved ones.
Services will be noon Thursday in Minus Funeral Home, 222 N. Queen St., Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Barrett Chapel Cemetery, near Frederica.

Bertha Dowling Jacquette, 85
ROCK HALL, Md. - Bertha Dowling Jacquette of Rock Hall died after a long illness Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital, Chestertown. She was 85.
Mrs. Jacquette was born in Rock Hall, daughter of the late James Dowling and Hattie Blanche Cannan Dowling.
She worked for 46 years as a seamstress for Rock Hall Manufacturing Co.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time in her flower garden. She also enjoyed making dried floral arrangements. She was an avid Orioles fan and enjoyed going to Baltimore to wach them play. She love to play bingo.
Mrs. Jacquette was a member of Wesley Chapel Church, Rock Hall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys Mary Wilson, in 1966; a brother; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Randolph Bird Jacquette; a brother, Samuel Dowling of Rock Hall; two sisters, Marie Taylor and Blanche Blugoborski, both of Rock Hall; and serveral nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Wesley Chapel Church, Rock Hall, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to Wesley Chapel Church, P.O. Box 626, Rock Hall, MD 21661.

Bruce A. Marsteller, 50
PENSACOLA, Fla. - Bruce A. Marsteller of Pensacola died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at the Re/Max national convention in Las Vegas, Nev. He was 50.
Mrs. Marsteller was born April 24, 1952, in Wilmington, Del., son of Willard Paul and the late Helen (Kauffman) Marsteller.
He was a 1970 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School.
He owned Re/Max Bayview Realty in Perdido Key, Fla., and was a Re/Max broker/agent. He was general manager of Marsteller's Dairy Markets Inc.
He spent many hours in the Keys fishing, golfing and scuba diving. He was a licensed pilot and had 828 skydives with Diamond State Skydivers. He also enjoyed growing vegetables.
Mr. Marsteller was a member of the Pensacola Association of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors and Perdido Chamber of Commerce. He won several awards with Re/Max International for sales achievement.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Q. Marsteller of Pensacola, Fla.; a son, Brian J. Marsteller of Pensacola; a daughter, Caitlin E. Marsteller of Pensacola; a stepson, Jeb D. Ritchie of Dover, Del.; and two sisters, Paula M. Brown of Milford, Del., and Jill Marsteller of Dover.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Memorial services also will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in Holy Sprit Catholic Church, Gulf Beach Highway, Perdido, Fla.
