Geneva Prileau, 75
FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Geneva Prileau of Federalsburg died Monday, March 5, 2001, in her home. She was 75.
Ms. Prileau was born May 14, 1925, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of the late James Prioleau and Agnes Frazier Prioleau.
She had worked for Con Agra.
Ms. Prileau was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Federalsburg, where she served on the usher board.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Prioleau.
She is survived by a two daughters, Carrie Prioleau of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Anita Prileau of Federalsburg; a son, William Prileau of Georgetown, Del.; three sisters, Alice Bennett, Pearl McGill, and Mary Watson, all of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, Frank Prioleau of Charleston, Lewis Prelow of New Jersey, and Jeff Prelow of Jacksonville, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion U.M. Church in Federalsburg, where friends may call two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Vanessa Stephens Lee will be officiating.
Burial will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg.

Bertha E. Jones Rash, 89
SEAFORD - Bertha E. Jones Rash of Seaford, formerly of Milton and Rehoboth Beach, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in her home. She was 89.
Mrs. Rash was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Cave Neck near Milton, the daughter of the late James Paynter Sr. and Gertrude Warren Jones.
She was a resident of Milton until 1946, moving to Holly Oak. She then moved to Rehoboth Beach in 1983.
She graduated from Milton High School in 1928.
She had worked at Waples Hardware.
Mrs. Rash was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church in Milton. While living in Holly Oak, she was a member of Holly Oak United Methodist Church and was past president of the Holly Oak Women's Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip H. Rash Sr. in 1982; her brothers, Sewell Lester, and James Jones; her nephew, George W. Jones, who had helped take care of her and her sister, Ruth Gould in September 1998 and a good friend, Frances Wingate in June 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara C. Rash of Lewes; a stepson, Phillip H. Rash Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St. in Milton
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel in Gracelawn Memorial Park, DuPont Parkway in Minquadale, where friends may also call after 1:15 p.m.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Howard Warneke Jr., 88
REHOBOTH BEACH - Howard Warneke Jr. of Rehoboth Beach died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, in Harrison House, Georgetown. He was 88.
Mr. Warneke was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
He retired in 1980 after 34 years service in the baking industry, first with the Anheiser Busch Bakery Division and secondly with the Frank A. Serio Bakers Supply.
He enjoyed gardening, walks on the beach and loved to be with children.
Mr. Warneke was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Rehoboth Beach and a member of the American Legion of Rehoboth Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Mary Linton Warneke of Rehoboth Beach; a daughter, M. Beaven of Lusby, Md.; a sister, Helen Shea of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, C. Irving Warneke of Reisterstown, Md.; and two grandchildren Emma E. Beaven and M. Alana Beaven.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach.
Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior Memorial Fund, Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

Catherine 'Kit' Wickham, 65
BRIDGEVILLE - Catherine "Kit" Wickham of Bridgeville, formerly of Levittown, Pa., died of cancer Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in her home. She was 65.
Mrs. Wickham retired in 1987 from the Pennsbury School District in Bucks County, Pa., where she worked in the cafeteria for 20 years.
She was always proud of the fact that she played the Baby Jesus in a school play when she was 2 months old. She attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School where she was the May Queen in 1950. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia in 1954.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lee A Wickham; a son, Steve B. Wickham of Philadelphia; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeff Edwards of Hamilton, N.J.; a brother, James Gindhart of Levittown; two sisters, Carol Woehr of Hatboro, Pa., and Gail Ireland of Thorofare, N.J.; three grandchildren, Ryan Wickham and Ian Strouse of Chalfont, Pa., and Amanda Edwards of Hamilton.
Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Stein Highway, Seaford.
Burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.

Joseph Wilson Wright, 86
LAUREL - Joseph Wilson Wright of Laurel died of heart attack Saturday, March 3, 2001, in Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. He was 86.
Mr. Wright was born in Laurel, the son of the late Joseph Wilson Wright Sr. and Julia Outten Wright.
He was a foreman for James Julian Construction Co. in Wilmington for 20 years, retiring in 1976.
Mr. Wright was a former member of the U.S. Trotters Association and the Republican Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn O'Neal, in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Winifred Vickers Wright; four daughters, Rita W. Marvel, Joanne W. Veazey and Dianne W. Calloway, all of Laurel and Joyce W. Aguillon of Seaford; a special nephew, Ernest V. Wright of Georgetown; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets in Seaford, where friends may call one hour prior to service. The Rev. Bryan Rice will officiate.
Burial will be in Blades Cemetery, Blades.

Frederick James 'Fred' Cahill, 61
DOVER - Frederick James "Fred" Cahill of Dover died of natural causes Thursday, March 6, 2003, in Bayhealth Medical Center-Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 61.
Mr. Cahill was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Havertown, Pa., son of the late John and Jean Schneider Cahill.
He lived in New Jersey for many years and moved to Dover in 1979. He worked as a custodian for State Cleaning and Maintenance Inc. until his illness about 10 years ago.
He and his wife were hardly ever separated. In their spare time, they enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Mr. Cahill was a member of Dover Modern Maturity Center and Capitol Baptist Church in Dover, where he was a faithful attendee.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Delores Muzyczek Cahill; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, John J. and Judy Cahill of Alexandria, Va., and John B. and Kay Cahill of Jonesboro, Ga.; two cousins, Carol Lieblein of Havertown and Roberta Hanna of Upper Darby, Pa.; and many friends from the Modern Maturity Center, Capitol Baptist Church and Faith Community Church.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. today in Capitol Baptist Church in Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial park outside Dover.

Louise Eiermann Dale, 83
MILLVILLE - Louise Eiermann Dale of Millville died of natural causes Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, Tenn. She was 83.
Mrs. Dale grew up on a farm in Smyrna; she and a brother, Ernest, started a 4-H Club in the Smyrna area.
She moved to Ocean View in 1946 to teach home economics at the Lord Baltimore School, and led the Ocean View 4-H Club for many years. She was retired from a position as a schoolteacher in Millsboro.
She enjoyed social gatherings and could often be detected by her boisterous laugh.
Mrs. Dale was a Sunday-school teacher and longtime member of Millville Methodist Church. She was a member and president of many local social organizations including AARP, American Association of University Women, Women's Society of Christian Service, the Dorcas Circle and the Lioness Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dale, in 1965; and two brothers, William and Ernest.
She is survived by a son, Harry Emory Dale of Cleveland; a daughter, Ruth Brienen of Merrimack, N.H.; a brother, Walter Eiermann of Clayton; a sister, Alma Luzier of Kensington, Md.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in the Frankford chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Thatcher Street.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel.
Burial will be in the St. George's Cemetery in Clarksville.
