Regenia Sadler Christophel, 83
SPRINGFIELD, Va. - Regenia Sadler Christophel of Springfield died March 16, 2003, in McAlester Regional Health Center, McAlester, Okla. She was 83.
Mrs. Christophel was born in Krebs, Okla., daughter of the late James T. and Nora B. Sadler.
She enjoyed a wonderful life after leaving McAlester and lived in the Washington, D.C., area.
Mrs. Christophel worked for the FBI, and later, the Department of the Army at the Pentagon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Christophel Sr.; and a grandson, Greg G. Poynter.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Karen Christophel of Dover, Del.; a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Allen Johnson of McAlester; five grandchildren, Susan Christophel, Casey Christophel, Karianne Christophel and Kevin Christophel, all of Laurel, Del., and Stacy Poynter of Larkspur, Calif.; a great-granddaughter, Ashton Christophel of Laurel; a sister, Virginia Larkin of McAlester; brothers and sisters-in-law, JT and Marguerite Sadler and Milton and Helen Sadler, all of Oklahoma City.; many nieces and nephews; and many dear longtime friends.
Graveside services will be private.
Burial will be Wednesday, March 26, in Arlington National Cemetery with her late husband.

Sharon Louise Dehorty, 44
MARYDEL- Sharon Louise Dehorty of Marydel died of natural causes Sunday, March 16, 2003, in her home. She was 44.
Mrs. Dehorty was born March 3, 1959, in Dover, daughter of Margaret DeGeorge of Boothwyn, Pa., and the late Howard Larimore.
She was a homemaker
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, George Dehorty Sr.; her stepfather, Samuel DeGeorge of Boothwyn; two sons, George Dehorty Jr. of Hartly and Jason Dehorty of Felton; a daughter, Jessica Dehorty of Trainer, Pa.; a brother, Jeffrey Larimore of Felton; three sisters, Margaret Lewis of Carney's Point, N.J., Connie Douhine of Hartly and Elizabeth Hahn of Camden; three grandchildren, Crystal, Natalie and Chad; four nieces; three nephews; seven grand-nieces; and eight grand-nephews.
Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md., where friends may call one hour earlier.

Walter M. Fountain Jr., 87
GREENSBORO, Md. - Walter M. Fountain Jr. of Greensboro died of natural causes Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 87.
Mr. Fountain was born July 8, 1915, in Hickman, son of the late Walter M. Fountain Sr. and Mary Emma Cohee Fountain. He was a lifetime resident of the Greensboro area.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army as a platoon sergeant for the 106th Infantry Division.
He retired from DuPont as an instrument mechanic in 1977 after 32 years.
Mr. Fountain was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Greensboro Post 7937 and the American Legion Post 2 in Denton. He also was a member of the Redman Lodge, Greensboro, and a charter member of Seaford, Del. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4961.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Gardner) Fountain, in 1991; two brothers, E. Lester and Carl N. Fountain; five sisters, Grace Evans, Ruth Turner, Thelma Fountain, Agnes Morgan and Naomi Jones.
He is survived by five sons, Walter Fountain of Houston, Edward G. Fountain and William R. Fountain, both of Greensboro, Donald R. Fountain of Salisbury and Alfred Boyle of Glen Burnie; a daughter, Mary A. Davis of Denton; four sisters, Clementine Smith of Greenwood, Del., Mary Keller of North Carolina, Gretha Custer of Dover, Del., and Madeline Fiori of Denton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro.

Roy G. Hess, 76
LEWES - Roy G. Hess of Lewes died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, in Park View Nursing Home in Wilmington. He was 76.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Lewes.

Ruth Evans Hoye, 79
MILLVILLE - Ruth Evans Hoye of Millville died of cancer Wednesday, March 12, 2003, in the home of her daughter, Priscilla Hoye Scott, in Ocean View. She was 79.
Ms. Hoye was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of William and Mildred Evans of Ocean View. The Evans family first settled in the area that is today South Bethany in the late 17th century.
She received her RN degree from Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing.
Ms. Hoye served as a nurse in the Army Air Corps at Maxwell Field, Ala., during World War II, with the rank of second lieutenant.
She was a private-duty nurse at Long Island Jewish Hospital and served as a nurse in the office of a pediatric allergist in Levittown, Long Island, N.Y. She retired as a pediatric nurse.
Ms. Hoye was a volunteer at the South Coastal Library in Bethany Beach, where she vacationed throughout her life. She had maintained a second residence in Millville with her husband, Lynn Hoye, since the 1960s, and they retired there in 1978.
In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by an additional daughter, Barbara Hoye Buckingham of Annapolis, Md.; a son, Keith Hoye of Boynton Beach, Fla.; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, in the United Methodist Church, Long Neck.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Peninsula Community Church Building Fund, Ocean View; Compassionate Care Hospice of Delaware; or Bible Study Fellowship International, San Antonio, Texas.
David Kelley, 79
ROXANA - David Kelley of Roxana died, after a long illness, Sunday, March 16, 2003, in his home. He was 79.
Mr. Kelley was born in Keller, Va., son of the late Teagle and Ella Lou Kelley.
He owned a pulpwood business for 26 years, retiring in 1994. He also worked at Townsends Inc. in Millsboro for 16 years.
Mr. Kelley was a member of the Pilgrims' Ministry of Deliverance Church, Georgetown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Bailey Kelley, in 1994; and a son, Robert Lee Kelley.
He is survived by two sons, David Kelley Jr. of Dagsboro and Bobby E. Kelley of Flemington, N.J.; three daughters, Shirley M. Campbell of Millsboro, Brenda D. Miles of Hartly and Yvonne Duffie of Lewes; three sisters, Elizabeth Mingo of Bridgeville, Mary Frances Beckett of Frankford and Mallie Roberson of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Pilgrims' Ministry of Deliverance Church, U.S. 113, Georgetown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Old Field Cemetery, Millsboro.

Victoria (George) Lusardi, 88
NEWARK - Victoria (George) Lusardi of Newark died Monday, March 17, 2003, in the Franciscan Care Center, Hockessin. She was 88.
Mrs. Lusardi was born in Glasgow, daughter of the late Octavio and Elizabeth George.
She attended the Newark Schools.
In 1933, she became "Our First Miss Delaware." In the 1940s, she started the first sub shop in Newark. It was known as "Angie's Sub Shop." She also worked at the National Vulcanize Fiber Mill, where she later retired.
She was a devoted mother, wife, sister and, most of all, a loving grandm0other.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George G. Lusardi, in 1981.
She is survived by her four children, Connie Magaw of Elkton, Md., Victor Lusardi of Newark and George Lusardi and Regina Seiger, both of Mississippi; a sister, Mary Rossi of Wilmington; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the R. T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, Newark.
Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
