Stratton, Sally J. – Milford. Died at age 78, Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery.
Thompson, Hilda Marie – Marydel, Md. Died at age 69, Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Easton Memorial Hospital, Easton. Locally survived by a daughter, Patricia and John Poswinski of Dover; and two sisters, Hazel Blake of Dover and Louise Graham of Felton. Interment was in Mount Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
Wilson, Christine A. ‘Chris’ – Milford. Died at age 51, Friday, April 18, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Interment was private.
Aviado, Dr. Domingo M. Sr. – Palm Beach Shores, Fla. Died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at age 80, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. Survived by his wife, Asuncion Guevara Aviado. Survived locally by a son, Domingo Aviado and his wife Corazon Bahia of Dover. Local arrangements were by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover.
Clifton, H. Donald – Houston. Died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at age 73, in Milford Center, Genesis Eldercare. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris Irene Clifton. Interment was in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
Johnson, Dorothy Mae Sellers – Crumpton, Md., formerly of Kent County. Died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at age 73, in her home. Interment was in Crumpton Cemetery.
Lewis, Tarnica Deshon ‘Nissa’ – Milford. Died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at age 30, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Survived by her parents, Ivory Burton and Reginald Woodall. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ellendale.
Marshall, Juan K. ‘Poppy’ – Milford. Died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at age 41, in his home. Survived by his father, Juan Velez of Hartford. Interment was in Siloam Cemetery, Slaughter Neck.
Orange, Kathy Mae Gardner – Albion, Mich., formerly of Marydel. Died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at age 46 in Albion. Survived by her husband, Clayton Orange. Survived locally by a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Kay and Jim Dalton and a brother, Johnny Ray Gardner, all of Marydel. Interment was in Albion.
Murray, John T. – Clayton. Died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, at age 77. Survived by a special friend and companion, Shirley Morgan.
Reath, Helen Louch – Wilmington. Died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Westminster Assisted Living, Dover. Survived locally by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dr. Howard A. Priestley of Dover. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark. Interment will be private.
Rhodes, Rev. George Vincent –Wilmington, former associate pastor at Church of the Holy Cross, Dover. Died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at age 80, at the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence, Newark. Internment was in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
Sheline, Donald – Harrington. Died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at age 63, at the VA Hospital, Elsmere. Survived by his wife, Brenda Woodall Sheline. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call from 7 until 9 p.m. the night before. Interment will be in the St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood
Fraiser, Amber Kristina – Milford. Died at age 20, Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Locally survived by her father and stepmother, David and Sandra Fraiser of Felton; a sister, Ivoria Harden of Dover; and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerry and Crystal Harden of Magnolia, David Fraiser Jr. and Morris Fraiser, both of Felton. Interment was in the Milford Community Cemetery.
