White, Elsie –– Millsboro. Died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at age 93, at Green Valley Terrace, Millsboro. She was retired from King Cole, and was a member of the Spanish-American Pentecostal Church in Milford. Locally survived by a sister, Viola Tunnell of Frederica. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford.
Adam, Anton W. – Milford. Died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at age 95, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. Burial was in the Milford Community Cemetery.
Bennett, Doris – Milford. Died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at age 54, in her home. Survived by her husband, John A. Bennett. Services and burial were private.
Melvin, Clarence Manship Jr. – Smyrna. Died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at age 74, in his home. Survived by his wife, Kathleen Melvin. Survived locally by a sister, Linda Booher of Dover. Burial was in the Asbury Cemetery, Millington, Md.
Reed, Frank L. – Estero Fla., formerly of Milford. Died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at age 67, in his home due to complications of prostate cancer. Survived by his wife, Patricia Reed.
Rhodes, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Gooden – Springfield, Pa. Died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at age 80, in Springfield. Survived locally by a sister, Sarah Hastings of Dover. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Ebenezer Church, Havertown, Md., where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
Seaman, The Rev. Ralph Whitson – Milford. Died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at age 86, in the Milford Center of Genesis Elder Care.
Sinclair, Rasheda Ford – Stem, N.C., formerly of Smyrna. Died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, at age 28. Survived by her husband, Jamieson Sinclair.
Walker, Vicky Lynn – Harrington. Died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at age 41, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Dover. Survived by her husband, John V. Walker. Survived locally by a son, Bryan Carroll of Felton; and a daughter, Nicole Carroll of Felton. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
Wynne, John F. Jr. – Newark. Died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at age 79 in Somerford House, Newark. Survived locally by a son and daughter-in-law, Craig A. and Rae Wynne of Dover. Morris, John Jr. – Milford. Died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at age 74, in his home. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth L. Dukes Morris. He was a retired U.S. Army first sergeant. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
Mowbray, Thelma M. Dean – Smyrna, formerly of North East, Md. Died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at age 79, in the Christiana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark.
