Funeral services for Samuel J. Miller, 56, of Wyoming, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the home of Jonas Hershberger, Almshouse Road, Wyoming. Mr. Miller died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Mr. Miller was born Nov. 27, 1949, in Dover, son of the late John and Rhoda Yoder Miller.
He had worked as a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; and a brother.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Troyer Miller; and seven daughters and four sons-in-law, Esther Mae and Jacob Mast, Sylvia and Allen Miller, Lucy and Harvey Mast, and Susanna and Steven Miller, all of Wyoming, and Mary Miller, Rosa Miller and Rhoda Anne Miller, all of the family home.
He also is survived by four sons and their wives, David and Rebecca Miller of Dover, Marvin and Betty Miller, and Henry and Lydia Mae Miller, all of Wyoming, and William and Malinda Miller of Smyrna; 21 grandchildren; two brothers; and six sisters.

Catherine Mosley
Funeral services for Catherine Mosley, 57, of Kenton, were held Friday, Feb. 3, in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover. Mrs. Mosley died Monday Jan. 30, 2006.
Mrs. Mosley was born May 24, 1948, daughter of the late Toussaint and Beulah Dixon.
She was a graduate of William Henry High School in Dover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Hicks, Irma Benson; and a brother, Donald Dixon.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Mosley of Kenton; two sons; Marvin Dixon of Harrisburg, Pa. and Michael Dixon of Kenton; two sisters; Thelma Hicks of Clayton and Beulah Powell of Dover; and two brothers, James Dixon of New Castle and Cornelius Robinson of Dover.
Mrs. Mosley also is survived by six brothers-in-law; Clarence Hicks, Allen Mosley, William Mosley, Winford Mosley, James Mosley and David Mosley; one sister-in-law, Shirley Mosley; three grandchildren, Michael Poore, Paul Levan and Catherine Levan; a special friend, Ernestine Gillis; a special niece, Barbara Nixon of Smyrna; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services for James W. Owens, 74, of Dover, will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 9, in Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, where friends may call one hour before. Mr. Owens died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, in Westminster Nursing Center.
Mr. Owens was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Woodlawn, Md., son of the late Stanley and Bessie Wright Owens.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, he retired in 1975 as a master sergeant, having served for more than 26 1/2 years. He was a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Owens.
Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Agnes E. Owens; two brothers, Allen D. Owens of Perryville, Md., and Robert L. Owens of Florida; and two sisters, Betty Patrick of Perryville and Francis Patrick of Maryland.
Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Delaware Hospice.
Technical Sgt. Booker V. Nelson, USAF (Ret.)
Funeral services for Booker V. Nelson, 75, of Dover, formerly of Smyrna, were held Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Mr. Nelson died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006.
Mr. Nelson was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Bel Air, Md., son of the late Lester and Nora Nelson.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired as a technical sergeant after 22 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Smithson Nelson, in 1991.
Mr. Nelson is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel R. and Betty Ann Nelson, and John M. Nelson, all of Dover; two grandchildren, Daniel R. Nelson Jr. and Neomia Folker; and five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Courtney, Katie, Chelsie and Carman.
Arrangements were by Faries Funeral Directors Inc., Smyrna.
Savannah Anne Marie Perry
Funeral services for Savannah Anne Marie Perry, a newborn, of Felton, were held Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton. Savannah died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of Paul J. Perry and Pamela A. Goodson.
Savannah was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Paul Franklin Perry Sr. and Mary Frances Perry; and her paternal great-grandmother, Viola G. Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Virginia Perry of Milford, and Paul Perry Jr. of Felton; her maternal grandparents, Joyce Mokoski of Felton and Zed Goodson of Virginia; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Irving Malone Tribbitt, 82, of Felton, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, in his home.
Mr. Tribbitt was born in Greensboro, Md., son of the late Samuel and Eunity Tribbitt.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and had worked as a supervisor for Swift Poultry in Felton.
He enjoyed sports and hunting and was a past member of Felton Volunteer Fire Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Tribbitt, William Tribbitt and Stewart Tribbitt.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elsie Tribbitt; a daughter and son-in-law, Elsie Mae and Donald Darling of Harrington; and seven grandchildren and the wives of three, Laurie A. Darling of Newark, Donald Darling Jr., and his wife, Lori, of Wisconsin, Keith Darling and his wife, Talley, of Viola, Shayne Darling and his wife, Andrea, of Felton, Tracey Darling of Harrington, Shannon Darling of Harrington and Eric Darling of Harrington.
Mr. Tribbitt also is survived by seven great-grandchildren, Kara Darling, Shayne Darling, Alexa Darling, Tyler Darling, Amani Bratcher, Cantrell Perry and Xavier Perry; five sisters, Mabel Tribbitt, Betty Kennard, Christine “Peaches” Farrow and Ida Mae Procko, all of Felton, and Margaret Messick of Milford; and a brother, Norman Tribbitt of Felton.
Services were private.

Pauline W. Wojtas
Remembrance services for Pauline W. Wojtas, 84, of Dover, were held Monday, Feb. 6, in Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Mrs. Wojtas died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, in Courtland Manor Nursing and Convalescent Home, Dover.
Mrs. Wojtas was born May 8, 1921, in Dover, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Williams.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting and ceramics.
Mrs. Wojtas was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Frank Wojtas Jr. of Dover; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Voshell and Donna Hutchins, and C. Franklin and Barbara Jean Hutchins, all of Dover; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Patricia H. and Joseph Pittelli of Mount Laurel, N.J., and Geraldine and Gerald Lane, and Josephine H. and Kenneth Moore, all of Dover; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
