Wayne Lee Bradford
Mr. Wayne Lee Bradford of Old Town died Thursday, September 29, 2005. He was 30 years old. He moved to Dixie County 4 years ago from Orlando, Florida and was an air conditioning mechanic for Bounds Air Conditioning.
He is survived by his fiancée, Stephanie Gamble of Old Town; Mother and Stepfather, Theresa and Amos Barr of Old Town; Grandparents, Johanna and Fred Bowen of Apopka, Florida; Step Sister, Wendy Barr of Old Town; Step Brothers, Andrew Barr of Sanford, Florida and Amos Barr III of Bushnell, Florida; Nephew, Carl Barr of Old Town.
A memorial service was held at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home on Sunday, October 2, 2005. A visitation was also held Sunday, October 2. Arrangements were placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City, Florida.
Martin Miller
Martin Miller, age 88, of Old Town, Florida passed away November 4, 2005 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties.
Mr. Miller was born in Brown, New York and was a self-employed seamstress (retired). He also served in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Mercy Miller of Old Town, his daughter, 3 stepsons, 7 grandchildren and 2 sisters.

Olief Lela Lamb
February 19, 1919 – November 3, 2005
Olief Lela Lamb died on November 3, 2005 at the age of 86. She died at Shands in Gainesville after a fall in her home. Born in Dixie County, she then moved to Marion County in 1947 where she was an employee for Sears and Roebuck for 39 ½ years. In 1989 she retired from Sears and moved back to Dixie County. Her great love for her flowers and gardening will always remain with us. She was a member of McCrabb Baptist Church in Old Town.
Survivors include her son Sidney Pete Odom of Dade City, FL; daughter, Elizabeth Coody of Old Town, FL and sister, Iris Smith of Mayo. Also included are 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 1:00 pm at McCrabb Baptist Church.

Geraldine N. Johnsen
Geraldine N. Johnsen, age 87 of Suwannee, Florida passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Leeds, North Dakota and moved here from Gainesville in 1975. She was a retired bookkeeper for Maris Distributors and a member of Gainesville Chapter 44, Order of Eastern Star. Ms. Johnsen attended Salt Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and crafts.
She is survived by daughter, Sinoma Brown and son-in-law Jim Brown of Suwannee, FL; son, Stanley M. Johnsen Jr. of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Betty Simpson of Columbus, GA, Gail Selland of Leeds, ND and Pat Sattler of Rugby, ND; 4 grandchildren, Todd Brown of Gainesville, FL, Colby, Austin and Kelsey of Portland, OR.

Robert William Piechocki, Sr.
Mr. Robert William Piechocki Sr. of Old Town passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2005 at his home. He was 64 years old. Mr. Piechocki moved here in 1986 from Attica, New York, and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Piechocki was in dairy construction, for which he was very well known, until 1986 when he started the Oak Grove Dairy in Dixie County. He was an avid railroad and train collector for many years.
Mr. Piechocki is survived by his wife, Sharon Piechocki of Old Town, Florida; sons, Robert W. Piechocki Jr. of Attica, New York and Ronnie Piechocki of Old Town, Florida; daughter, Sherry Collins of Orchard Park, New York; brother, Leonard Piechocki of Trenton, Florida; sisters Jean Wright of Hallsville, Texas, Diane Ryan of Dairien Center, New York, and Suzie Piechocki of Anchorage, Alaska and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother John Piechocki.
Funeral services for Mr. Piechocki were held Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel in Cross City, Florida with Father Mike Pendergraft officiating. A visitation was held Friday, October 28, 2005 between the hours of 6 and 8 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Burial was held at the McCall Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City, Florida 32628, 352-498-5400.

Wayne Albritton
Wayne Albritton, 58, of Old Town passed away Saturday, October 29 at North Florida Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by wife Jean of Old Town; 3 sons, Ronnie and wife Kathy of Old Town, Randy and wife Judy of Bradenton and Rodney of Mayaki; 3 daughters, Rhonda of Old Town, Cindy Borklund and husband Ricky of Old Town and April Farmer and husband Doug of Old Town; 11 grandchildren, Angelina, Crystal, Ronnie, Michelle, Youlunda, Lillie and Aleigha of Old Town, Vicky of Bartow, Jason, Laramie and Janie of Bradenton; 2 great grandchildren, Damian of Bartow, “Lil man” Joel of Old Town; 1 sister Patti Balbin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; 1 brother, David of Punta Gorda and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be held November 6th at First Assembly of God in Cross City at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ricky Borklund and Chuck Gilbert officiating.
Horace Joseph Dyals
Mr. Horace Joseph Dyals of Old Town passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Shands at the University of Florida. He was 26 years old. He was born and raised in Dixie County, and was a member of the Suwannee Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Dyals of Old Town; son Hoss Dyals and daughter Jolie Dyals, both of Old Town; parents Merlon and Julie Dyals of Old Town; brother Derek Dyals of Old Town; sister Dixie Wright of Old Town; and paternal grandparents John and Linda Dyals of Old Town. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Horace and Jo Ann Kight.
Funeral services for Mr. Dyals will be Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Downing and Rev. Fred Edwards officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 between the hours of 6 and 8 PM. Burial will follow at the Keen Cemetery in Suwannee.
