A native of Chicago, Ill., she moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1991.
Mrs. Overling is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Mike Blevins, and grandchildren, Michael and Kaley Blevins.

Gary L. Moore
Died: Sunday, June 05, 2005
Age: 54
He was born May 26, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Ind., and graduated from North Side High School in 1969.
Moore was a certified welder and a member of the Iron Workers Local #147, retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed playing pool, fishing and spending time with friends. He was a member of American Legion Post #129.
Family members include his three daughters, Angela Webb of Fort Wayne, Ind., Michelle Adler of West Lafayette, Ind. and Jacquelyn Moore of Bloomington, Ind.; four grandsons; two sisters, Kathy Pierce of Michigan and Linda Early of Texas; and his mother, Kay Moore of Fort Wayne, Ind. He was preceded in death by his father, Merlyn "Curly" Moore.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Donald Warren Miller
Donald (Don) Warren Miller, 70, born December 14, 1934 in Englewood, N.J. and raised in Two River, WI., passed away June 6, 2005 in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Don was a Past Master of the Hyland-Jarmon Lodge #0113, Vicksburg, MS, Also a member of Scottish Rite, Grand York Rite Bodies of Ms, Wahabi Shriners, Jackson, Ms., and Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Vicksburg, Ms. Don also belonged to professional organizations in his field: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Instrument Society of America. He was a member of American Legion Post 0129 in Jacksonville Beach. Don loved the outdoors and had a great love for scuba diving, becoming a Divemaster. Other passions involved photography and visiting museums.
Don is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Alice Miller, son, Steven C. Miller, daughters Monica Martin-McBryde (Hugh), Michelle Terry (Sam), brothers, Jack Miller (Ruth), Robert P. Miller (Delores), grandchildren Nick, Christy Jo, Scott, brother-in-law, Harry Hertling, sister-in-law, Sue Hertling, dear uncle, and many friends that will miss him greatly.
A visitation is scheduled for 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Saturday, June 11, 2005, with a service in the chapel of the funeral home at noon.

Robert Mayhugh
Robert Oliver Mayhugh, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 28, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Known to his family and friends as Bob, he was born in the Arlington neighborhood of Jacksonville in 1936 where he and his siblings grew up. He attended Landon High school and upon graduation he entered the apprenticeship program of Sheet Metal Local 435. He worked in the sheet metal industry in Jacksonville for over 40 years where he was known for his hard work, honesty and integrity. He retired as a member of Local 435. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Gloria, his parents Elizabeth and Dennis, sister Betty, and brothers Dennis Jr. and Thomas Mayhugh. Robert is survived by his son Robert Daryl Mayhugh (Samantha), daughters Lisa Verschueren (Tony), Karen Richardson ( Bobby) Kimberly Moore (Allen) and Kelli Owen (Gary) Ten grandchildren: Ryan Baxter, Tyler Baxter, Michael Mayhugh, Sean Verschueren, Adam Mayhugh, Joshua Moore, Aaron Mayhugh, Lauren Owen, Katelyn Moore and Logan Owen. Five great grandchildren: Madison Baxter, Dominic Santoro, Ethan Mayhugh, Liberty Mayhugh and Emilyn Baxter due in April. Sisters Ada Jean Highsmith and Myra Rafool (Jack) . Loving sisters in law Kathy Mayhugh, Dot Mayhugh and Dorothy Curl and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday February 2nd from 6-8 at Arlington Park Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday February 3rd at 11am in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home with Ken Gemeinhart officiating. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to the American Lung Association.
James F. Hook Jr.
Died: Monday, June 13, 2005
Age: 75
Born June 5, 1930 in Buffalo, New York, he was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1970, then moved to Jacksonville Beach in 1971 from Virginia Beach, Virginia and became a Life Insurance (NCOA) Agent. He graduated from Jones College in 1978, and was also a Notary. He enjoyed bowling and baseball.
Family members include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Hook; daughters, Susan Terry Slocum, of Jacksonville, Debbie Ellen Thill of Neptune Beach, and Bonnie Hook, of Jacksonville; brothers, Jay (Shirley) Hook, of Toronto, Canada; sister, Betty Lyons, of Toronto; and six grandchildren.

Frederick Coney Allen
Died: Monday, June 13, 2005
Age: 80
He was born in Tampa and resided in Jacksonville Beaches most of his life. He retired from Fletcher High School in 1987 after over 20 years of service and was a member of St. Paul's By the Sea Episcopal Church.
He fought bravely as a volunteer in the American Field Service during WWII in Burma and was a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. His influence and deeds will be remembered by all who knew him and he will be missed, according to family and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Caroline Futch and a son, Frederick Wilcox Allen. Survivors include his son, Jackson M. (Lisa) Allen; brother, John David (Frances) Allen; and two grandchildren: Jackson Marshall Allen and Katelin Elizabeth Allen. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, at St. Paul's By the Sea Episcopal Church, 465 11th Ave. N., Jacksonville Beach with The Reverend Dr. Sudduth Rea Cummings officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Allen's name to the Humane Society or the Highlands Historical Society, P.O. Box 670, Highlands, NC 28741. Charles Ernest Oehler
Died: Monday, June 13, 2005
Age: 55
He was born on Feb. 24, 1950, to Earl and Juanita Oehler. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he attended Fletcher High School, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, and was a licensed plumber for 39 years.
Family members include his mother, Juanita Oehler; son, Charles Allen Burnham; sister, Gail (Brad) Ivey; brother, Marcus (Shelia) Oehler; nephews, Charles Gray, Justin (Lisa) Ivey, James Ivey, Marc Oehler, Shane Oehler and Christopher Bowman; nieces, Kelley (Jose) Nicolas, Laura (Jeff) Bouchy and Valerie Oehler; several great nieces and nephews; and best friend, Brian Christy. He was predeceased by his father Earl Paul Oehler, and brother, Lawrence Oehler.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the FOP lodge, 2004 Forest Ave., Neptune Beach.

Robert Allen Fox

U.S. Veteran - FOX - Robert A. Fox, Master Chief U.S. Navy (ret.), was born April 11, 1938 and left his world of pain on Friday, October 31, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. He leaves to mourn his passing: sister, Frances Outlaw; daughter, Kelly (Jack) Schultz; sons, Michael Fox & Chris (Lori) Fox; his sweetheart of 18 years, Nina “Sam” Scott and her children, Michael Wayne (Sabine) Abbey, Chris Abbey & Jeanette Abbey; along with 8 grandchildren. Bob was a caring, generous & encouraging friend who was quick to share a laugh and kind word for all. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, November 3, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Edwin George Lawrence
Died: Monday, June 13, 2005
Age: 71
Born March 14, 1934, in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was self-employed in sales. He was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church by the Sea of Jacksonville Beach.
Family members include his sons, Peter and Matt Lawrence.

Henry E. Carter
Died: Monday, June 13, 2005
Age: 86
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ruby.
Carter was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked for JEA for 20 years, then moved on to head of maintenance at Beaches Chapel Church in Neptune Beach, where he continued for over 10 years. He and his wife started Mrs. Ruby's Daycare and continued that for over 20 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Carter, and his grandson, Erin Carter.
There will be a service Thursday at First Christian Church of the Beaches, 2125 Oceanfront, Neptune Beach, at 10 a.m.
