Surviving are a son, David Williams of Jacksonville, four grandchildren, Lisa Remington, Thomas Williams, Beverly Williams, John Williams, two great-grandchildren, Jon Remington and Tanner Reed, two sisters, Dava Ahlwardt and Virginia Lynch, special niece, Kazhmere Calhoun and other dear relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church, 2125 Oceanfront, Neptune Beach.

Age: 83
In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was an avid tennis and duplicate bridge player and huge Gator fan who enjoyed many years of service with the Duval County School System and the Jacksonville Electric Authority.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Been, her daughters, Janis Kinley (Robert), Paula Topjun (Terry), Karen Balsley (Raymond) and Gwen Baldwin (Gary), stepdaughters Barbara Been and Judi Heneger, sister, Loraine Wright, niece, Pat Helms, nephew, Gary Wright, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church of the Beaches, 2125 Oceanfront, Neptune Beach.

Jacksonville, Florida - Mr. William (Moose) Morris Huffman, 71, entered into rest on June 24, 2012. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born on March 2, 1941 to the late Drayford and Esther Huffman. He is survived by his wife of 50 beautiful years, Mary Hall Huffman; daughter, Mary Huffman Weeks; grandchildren, Bethany, Piper and Eli Weeks; sister, Ann (Bill) Radek; brothers, Jerry (Barb) and Kenneth Huffman. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, TONIGHT, June 27, 2012 from 6:30-8:30pm with a remembrance to be held at 7:30pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL.

He was employed by Merrill Lynch for several years as Vice President of Technology, Architecture Group of Advanced Computing Environment.
He was the father of Alexander Tristin Long of Jacksonville and Rebecca Louise Andrews of Jacksonville Beach.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14 at First Christian Church of Jacksonville Beach with the Reverend Mahlon Dixon officiating.

Norma Drury Turner

TURNER - Mrs. Norma Drury Turner, 87, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home. Born in Jacksonville, she was a homemaker and a member of Sovereign Grace Family Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Tolliver C. “TC” Turner, Jr. in January of this year. Her surviving family includes: her daughter, Susan Turner Bivins; two sons, Timothy Curtis Turner and Daniel Warren Turner; a sister, Diane McGowen; two grandchildren, Natalie Marie Smith and James Curtis Smith and a great granddaughter, Ramsey, as well as, many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, 2104 in the funeral home chapel at 12:30 PM with Dr. Keith Foskey officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National cemetery. Mr. Robert Alexander Saint-Amand

Jacksonville, Florida - Robert A. Saint-Amand, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. Robert was born on January 8, 1923 in Wilmington, North Carolina to the late C. Emile and Ella Mae Saint-Amand. He was the ninth and youngest child. Robert attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C. and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served during World War II in the 10th Air Force in the China, Burma, India Theater. He was awarded several medals of Valor including two Bronze Stars. Robert retired from Sverdrup Corp. Consulting Engineers in 1988. He was also a lifelong communicant of the Episcopal Church, attending St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, FL. Robert is survived by his loving wife Betty Walker Saint-Amand of 62 wonderful years; daughter Pamela Rose (Louis Hewlett) of Jacksonville, FL; son Robert A. Saint-Amand Jr. (Beverly) of Columbus, GA.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a graveside service on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00am.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1921, in Midville, GA to the late Wright Williams and Annie Lee Williams. She was one of six brothers and sisters, (all preceded her in death.)
She was married
for 50 years to Wilbert Hills who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, James L. Webb, Jr. (Robin), Augusta, GA, three grandchildren, James L. Webb, III, Cynthia (CeCe) Combs, Augusta, and James D. Perry, Virginia Beach, VA, two sister-in-laws, Gladys Mincey, Jacksonville, and Louise Blocker, Ft. Pierce and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.

Age: 72
Born in Savannah, Ga., he attended the University of Georgia and Auburn University before receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology. He taught at Edward Waters College and the University of North Florida for a number of years. He authored a mathematics textbook that is still used in a number of schools. He had an interest in the sea since childhood and often sailed along the Atlantic Coast.
He is survived by a sister, Ann McCarthy, of Savannah. The family honored his wishes to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.

She was born April 17, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Ponte Vedra about five years ago.
She is survived by son James (Carol) O’Grady of St. Augustine; daughter Diane (Patrick) McDermott of Levittown, N.Y., and grandchildren Colleen, Kaitlin and Thomas McDermott. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, with a service at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northeast Florida.

Born in Philadelphia, he moved to Jacksonville in 1997.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sally Rinelli; sons Anthony Rinelli of Jacksonville and Jason Rinelli of Telford, Pa.; and his mother and father, Catherine and James Dove of Langhorne, Pa.
A memorial mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach. Burial will be private.

He was retired from the Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Fleet Reserve and the Jaguars Booster Club.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melanie Rieman; his father, Martin Rieman; son Martin (Shannon) Rieman; daughters Kelly Rieman and Shelly (Shannon) Scott; sisters Marsha Gunner and Marlene (John) Kelly; grandchildren Kayla and Michael Scott and Erek Rieman, and other relatives.

Johnathan Samuel Greene

Johnathan Greene, 17, went to be with Jesus on Feb 10, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. He was a student at Atlantic Coast High School and attended New Life Christian Fellowship. Survivors include his loving parents, James and Myrtle Greene; devoted brother James Greene Jr and sister Brandie Greene of Virginia. He was preceded in death by two sisters Jessica and Jamila Greene. Other survivors include two grandmothers, Geneva Greene of Georgetown, SC and Maggie Harrison of Yanceyville, NC., godparents, Larry and Faye McTaw of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, devoted friends along with special caretakers, Sheralla Newsome and Janice Brewton. He will be remembered by his calm demeanor and gentle spirit that touched many and his presence will be missed. Marietta 'Penny' Carr

Age: 78
Born July 1, 1925, in Concord, N.H., Ms. Carr graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in zoology. After a career in the field of medical biologicals, especially the management and regulation of blood products, she retired to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1990.
She is survived by a nephew, Geoffrey Hartshorn Carr; nieces Linda Carr Farrell, and Jennifer Carr Isherwood-Iobst, and cousins.
The family requests that instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the University of New Hampshire Foundation for the Marietta “Penny” and Jane Carr Scholarship Fund, Elliott Alumni Center, University of New Hampshire, 9 Edgewood Road, Durham, N.H., 03824.
