Jacksonville, Florida - Robert Fred Arenburgh, 52, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and caring friend to all that knew him. Robert is preceded in death by his mother Willa Mae Arenburgh. He loved life, sports, fishing and his women (Susan). He will be missed by everyone. Robert is survived by His loving wife Susan Arenburgh of 15 wonderful years; son Gerald Maxwell Arenburgh; daughthers Amanda (Timothy) McLean, Brandy (Duane) Rayburn, Victoria Arenburgh; grandson Timothy Jaden; Father, Maxwell Fred Arenburgh; Brothers, William Paul (Laura) Arenburgh, Ronald Wayne (Irene); sister, Linda Gail Arenburgh; nieces, Tabatha Driggers, Rachel Arenburgh, Olivia Arenburgh; nephews, Thomas Driggers, Drew Arenburgh. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, visitation will be on Monday, December 8, 2008 From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a funeral service on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Arlington Park cemetery.

Ina Pearl Ritenour Pelous
Ina Pearl Ritenour Pelous, 70, a forty year Atlantic Beach resident, passed away on June 30, 2011. She was born on January 6, 1941, in South Connellsville, Pennsylvania. She was employed by Wal-Mart #1172 for ten years, and was a member of F.R.A. Auxiliary #290 in Atlantic Beach for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard (Lucky) Pelous.
She is survived by three daughters, Chris Ward of Portsmouth, Virginia, Robin (Harry) Jenkins and Patti (Eric) Newton of Savannah, Georgia, one son, Jason Pelous of Jacksonville (formerly of Atlantic Beach); four grandchildren, Brandi (DeWayne) Boutwell, Shelby Jenkins, Rebecca Newton of Savannah, Georgia, Austin Gould of Portsmouth, Virginia; sister, Betty (Tom) Bageant and nephew Tommy Bageant, of Scottsdale, Pa.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on July 7, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Pablo Towers, 115 3rd St., S, Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Cremation handled by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.

Kathleen Allan Craig
Kathleen Allan Craig passed peacefully July 2, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Born August 22, 1931 in Yonkers, NY, Kay grew up along the Hudson River. She graduated from Hastings High School and married Don Craig in 1955, having known each other since age 10. Kay worked with AT&T in NYC and retired after 25 years of service.
She was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Kay took great delight in each and every accomplishment of her 5 children and 9 grandchildren. She never missed a baseball, football, soccer or lacrosse game, band concert, swim meet, dance recital, scouting event, karting race, art show, school play or graduation. She was never happier than when the family gathered for birthdays, holidays or celebrations. She loved and nurtured all children who came her way.
Those cherishing her memory are Donald, devoted husband of 56 years, loving sister and best friend Martha Brew (Richard), sister Dorothy Stallone, brother Tom Allan (Bernice), brother Bill Allan (deceased). Beloved children Susan Turner (Steve), Cathy Raybon (James), Don Craig (Becky), Laurie Melancon (DeJean), Kelly Craig (sadly missed daughter-in-law Cindy). Grandchildren Jennifer and Steve Turner, Kevin and Kyle Craig, Matt, Jeff and Michael Melancon, Taylor and Alex Craig. Nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and always welcomed granddogs.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on July 9, 2011 at 10am at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 8264 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL.
The family wishes to thank Northeast Florida Community Hospice, McGraw Center, for their loving care.
Arrangements are by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.

Paul Figura
February 16, 1963 - February 28, 2014
Paul Figura, one of the most sought-after photographers in Jacksonville, died Friday morning, less than two weeks after turning 51. He had been hospitalized since Feb. 18, when he suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage. Friends said he made new friends easily, offered advice freely to other photographers, and enjoyed surfing.

James Lester Roberts
James Lester Roberts, 52, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away July 5, 2011. He was born in Norfolk, Va., raised in Key West, Fl. and made his final destination the beaches area. He loved guns, fishing, and being close to the ocean. He spent his life working on cars. He was manager of Oceanside Auto Repair and Ocean Auto Repair for 21 years. James loved his family and friends and they loved him. He was kind and always ready to help someone out whether it was repairing a car, giving them a loan, or just being a shoulder to lean on.
James was preceded in death by his father, Leaton I. Roberts, his mother Alma Roberts, and his son Christopher James Roberts.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna Kay Roberts, his son Shadd James Roberts, and his loving daughter Kaylee Lynn Roberts. Other family members include Don E. Brooks, Wilma J. Brooks, brother-in-law Don G. Brooks, Sister-In-Law Dinah L. Strayer, brother in-law Lee Strayer, and nephew Spencer Strayer of Cranberry, Pa. Sister In-Law Debra Knapp, nephew Mason Knapp, and niece Brooke Knapp. Brother in-law David Brooks, sister in-law Lori Brooks, niece Whitney Brooks, and nephew Dane Brooks of Gallipolis, OH. James will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
There will be a viewing at Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main St, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 (904)249-1166 on Friday July 8, 2011 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
Services will follow the next day at Beaches Chapel Church, 610 Florida Blvd, Neptune Beach, FL 32266 at 11:00 a.m. Sat. July 9, 2011. Interment will be at Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main Street, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 (904) 249-1166, Funeral Services have been cared for by First Coast Funeral Home and Beaches Memorial Park.

Donald Greer Crews, EMCS, USN, Ret.
Donald Greer Crews, EMCS, USN, Ret., passed away peacefully at home July 5, 2011, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was a fine example of a man, sailor, and proud American. Born in Sarasota, Florida, he grew up on the remote island of Siesta Key, Florida, where he spent his childhood riding horses and playing on the shores of one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1957.
He married Karen Janice Lesher in 1966 and the couple soon moved to Norfolk, VA. In 1967, his first child and only son, Donald Greer Crews, Jr. was born. In 1972, daughter, Michelle Leanne Crews arrived and the family moved to Jacksonville Beach when she was three years old.
He retired from Naval Station Mayport in 1977. At the culmination of his Naval career, he continued to work as an electrical designer for CDI Marine until his retirement at age 64. Donald and Karen enjoyed traveling and spending time in Key West and other vacation destinations. To his grandchildren, he was known as Pepaw and Poppa and regardless of his health, he took extreme pleasure in playing with and watching them grow. He was a sports enthusiast and was a season ticket holder to both the Jacksonville Bulls and the Jaguars.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 45 years, Karen; son and daughter-in-law, Greer and Jennifer Crews; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Dallas Mooney; and grandchildren Daniel Mooney, Katie, Kimberly, and Kelsey Crews; and step-grandchildren, Bella Calloni and Austin Mooney. He was preceded in death and is now reunited with his parents, Greer and Bea Crews and his beloved dog, Emily.
A celebration of Donald’s life, with full military honors, will be held 2 pm Sunday, July 10th, in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Cleo Brown
Cleo Brown, age 82 went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2012. Cleo was born September 3, 1929 in Quincy, Florida. He was one of 6 boys and 3 girls growing up in the hardest of times. He loved the Lord, his sweet wife Marjorie, and his Family. Cleo moved to Jacksonville Beach at the age of 14 to get a job to help his family. In 1949, he met and fell in love with Marjorie and proposed on the 3rd date. They married 6 weeks later. Cleo was a hard working man and for 30 years worked construction for R. D. Smith Company and then later for Barco-Duval Engineering where he retired in 1998. Cleo’s favorite things in life were Family, Church, and Fishing. He was a man of the utmost integrity and values. He and Marjorie were very best friends. When Cleo was not working they enjoyed a getaway house in Palatka and loved to have family and friends come enjoy time together. Many special memories were made there. He was such a wonderful caring man and would do anything for anybody. He never met a stranger. He will be missed by all. Cleo is survived by his loving sweetheart and devoted wife of 62 years, Marjorie Brown, two daughters, Sue Weaver (the late Billy Weaver) and Donna Walter (Greg Walter); one son, Greg Brown (Derria), three grandchildren, Terra Mays (Charles), Adam Weaver (Melissa) and Marc Weaver (Shannan); eight great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kaitlyn, and Reagan Mays, and Skyler, Chase, Clay, Ashlyn and Cory Weaver. He is preceded in death by his father and mother and 4 brothers. He is survived by one brother Lawrence McElvy (Willeen), and three sisters Dora Galloway (George), Lois Stookey (Stan), Anna Warren ( the late Bill Warren), sister in law, Helen Kent Hughes (the late Lamar Kent), and the Brown McElvy, Kent and Deal families who have always been so close and kept in touch. Cleo and Marjorie were blessed with the love and support of lifetime friends made at Central Baptist Church well over 50 years ago. Very special thanks to Dr. Ronnie McKenzie, wife Ms. Sylvia, and Pastor William Crook, wife Renee, and the entire Staff and Church Family of Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church. We are blessed with such a compassionate church family. In lieu of flowers, Cleo’s wishes were that donations be made to Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church for the Youth Ministry. Arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. The funeral will be held on February 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kernan Blvd Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Blvd., S., with Dr. Ronnie McKenzie and Pastor Randall Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held at Kernan Blvd Baptist Church from 10:00AM to 11:00AM just prior to the service. Graveside services well he held at Greenlawn cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Everyone is invited to a Memorial luncheon at the Salaam Club, 8101 Beach Blvd. immediately following graveside services.

Al Dona Marie Branch
August 26, 1952 - February 16, 2014
Al Dona Marie Branch, 61, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Jacksonville after a brief illness. She was born in California on August 26, 1952 to Carl William Gough and Frances Dennis Gough and was raised in the Baptist Faith. She graduated from Chamberlain High School (1970) in Tampa where she was a majorette. After her marriage to her loving husband Jim in 1971 she moved to Jacksonville. She had been a Girl Scout leader for over 35 years with troop 1282. Al Dona loved taking care of her roses, enjoyed reading, researching her families genealogy and working at her computer. Some of her favorite times was spent photographing her grandchildren and family members. Survivors include her devoted husband of 43 years, James B. “Jim” Branch; daughters, Jennifer M. Atchison and Justina Branch; brothers, Forrest Gough and Carl Gough; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Ainsley and Amanda Atchison; and several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Funeral services for Al Dona are 11:00 am Thursday in The Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Mak, New Journey Church officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in Garden of Memories cemetery, 4207 East Lake Ave.Tampa, FL. 33610.

Lisa Dolan-Long
Lisa Dolan-Long, 37, passed away September 18, 2011. She was born on December 20, 1973 in Quincy, MA. Lisa was employed for 14 years as a District Manager for The Gap and was a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church. She loved fashion, tennis, the New England Patriots, fast cars and the beach. Lisa took great pride in being a wife and mother, her most important achievements were her being the VP of the Long Household and Personal Assistant to Myles.
Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Curtis Long; son, Myles Jackson Long; parents, Ronald and Susan Dolan; brother, Ronnie Dolan (Lisa); her in-laws, Lester and Jackie Long; nieces and nephews, Chloe and Joshua.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated today at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23rd in Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church, with Monsignor Logan as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palmer Catholic Academy, Gymnasium Fund.

Mrs. Janet Murray
August 25, 1953 - April 12, 2009
Jacksonville, Florida - Janet Marie O’Quinn Murray, 55, of Jacksonville, passed away Easter Sunday. She was born August 25, 1953 in Savannah, Ga. to Donald and Dolly O’Quinn. She was the oldest of four children, and the only sister to brothers Don, Rick and Matt. While attending high school in Richmond Hill, Ga., Janet met Randy Murray. The two became Mr. and Mrs. Richmond Hill High in 1971, and shortly thereafter she became Mrs. Murray. Her life as a mother began in 1972 with the birth of son Jason. In 1974 her life was brightened with the birth of daughter Donna and in 1976 her family was completed with youngest son Kiley. Janet dedicated her life to the nurturing development of her children and still found time to acquire a nursing degree from AASU in 1988. She utilized her education as a critical care nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah until 1997. Janet’s pride and passion was always her family and her grandchildren Kristine, Samantha, Taylor, Madison, Tommy and Dakota were her angels. Her daughter-in-laws Morgan and Kim and son in law Keith Thompson were always her other children. While Janet spent much of her adult life dealing with a multitude of health issues, her Christian spirit and determination will always be her legacy. Janet’s family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Jacksonville Downtown, Hobson Auditorium.
