McCALL - Marguerite Loresse McCall, 69, a Jacksonville, FL native, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2000. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, Garden of Everlasting Life, at 10:00 AM with Reverend G. A. Oglesby officiating. PIKULSKI - Yvonne M. Pikulski, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, August 11, 2000 at her residence. The Centerline, Michigan, native was an art teacher and a resident of Jacksonville for 45 years. She was a member of the Ribault Lions Club, The Florida Eye Bank and St. Vincents de Paul and was a ceramic instructor at FCCJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; a son, Gary; mother and father, Rolland and Germaine Rhadigan and a brother, Gerald Rhadigan, Survivors include two sons, Joe (Sherry) Pikulski and Scott (Sabrina) Pikulski; three daughters, Vicki (Jim) Willis, Cindy (Dennis) Brown and Elaine (John Passwater) Kelley; three brothers, Tom (Sandy) Rhadigan, Bob (Carol) Rhadigan and Floyd (Kathy) Rhadigan; three sisters, Lucy (Chuck) Hiner, Irene (Mike) Lauretti and Diane (Richard) Sauger; 13 grandchildren: Tommy, Charlie and Billy Pikulski, Christina and Daniel Kelley, Justin and Alena Pikulski, Jaime, Suzanne and David Willis, Jennifer, Tony and Chuckie Brown and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 16, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Bob McDermott, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM Tuesday, August 15, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Avenue. SWINDELL - Henry Slater Swindell, 82, died Saturday, August 12, 2000. A native of Long County, Georgia, Mr. Swindell had moved to Jacksonville in 1939 and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He retired after 36 years from St. Regis Paper Company and was a faithful attendee of the St. Regis Retirees Breakfast Club. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Ruby Swindell; four children Sherwood L. Swindell, Carroll S. Swindell, Raymond D. Tyler and Sandra D. Tyler; one sister, Sarah S. Lincoln; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 15, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. David Knight officiating. Mrs. Tompkins, 81, passed away August 12, 2000. A native of Wilmington, NC she was a longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach. She was a member of Beach United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Tompkins, step-daughters; Kay Higgins and Shirley Spaulding, a sister, Dorothy Memory of Wilmington, NC; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Interment will be Thursday in Oleander Memorial Gardens, Wilmington, NC under the direction of Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market Street, Wilmington, NC. ARCHER - Robert Carlton Archer, 72, a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps who, toward the end of his military career taught at the naval Air Technical Center in Jacksonville, FL, died of brain cancer December 10, 2000 at the Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Archer served in the Korean and Viet Nam Wars and was a life-long member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreigh Wars. After retirement from the Marine Corps, he taught at Jones Business College and for the U. S. Department of Labor on assignment in Saudi Arabia where he received the Departments Outstanding Teacher Award. A long-time resident of Orange Park, FL, Mr. Archer was born in Philadelphia, PA, then moved to Cleveland, OH, where he graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. He held a Masters Degree from the University of Northern Florida. An eligible candidate for membership in MENSA, Mr. Archer never lost his love of reading or his dry sense of humor. He also loved music and attended Orange Park United Presbyterian Church. Mr. Archer was preceded in death by his father, John Simpson Archer of County Down, Ireland, his mother, mabel Elwell Archer of Philadelphia, Pa, and his brother John S. Archer, Jr., a pilot with the Eighth Air Force who was killed in Action over Holland in WWII. His survivors include his step-mother, Violetta B. Archer of Sarasota, FL; his children, Robert Archer Livingston of Brentwood, TN, Sheryl Ann Livingston Hobbs of Severna Park, MD, John David Livingston of Arvada, CO, and Maryanne Archer Klein of Orange Park, FL; his grandchildren, Anne Marie and Scott Carlton Livingston of Brentwood, TN, Caroline Elizabeth and William Archer Hobbs of Severna Park, MD, Jennifer Sheryl and Kevin David Livingston of Durango, CO and Amanda Cathryn Klein of Orange Park, FL. BEAN - Mr. Eugene Carlton, 75, went home to be with the Lord, his wife Della May Bean ' Dolly, ' and his son Dennis Eugene Bean Monday, December 12, 2000. Mr. Bean was born in Claremont, New Hampshire in 1925. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He has resided in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 22 years. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and a warm caring friend to many. His presence will be cherished, not forgotten. he is survived by his daughter, Lynn Barton, two sons with their wives, Scott and Melanie, Randy and Livettsy. He is also survived by two sisters, Cynthia, Dolly, and two brothers, Frank Jr., and Gale; six grandchildren, one great grand daughter, several nieces and nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday December 17, 2000 at 2PM in the Chapel of Hospice North East Florida located at 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville. BRAMLETT - Clifford J. Bramlett, 62, passed away on December 4, 2000. A long time resident of Clay County, he attended First Assembly of God in Middleburg. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Wesley Bramlett. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Doris J. Mrs. Brechler was born in Jacksonville, FL and had lived in White County for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary Swisher. She was of the Episcopal Faith. BROOKINS - Raymond C. Brookins, III, 13, of Jacksonville passed away Friday from injuries sustained in an accident. A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and a 7th grade student at Mandarin Middle School. Raymond is survived by his parents Sandra and Raymond Brookins, Jr. 1 brother Trenton Brookins, 2 sisters, Heather and Christina Brookins, maternal grandfather Howard Wald, paternal grandmother Louise Bakeberg, all of Jacksonville and paternal grandparents Nancy and John Meyers of Clearwater, FL.
