Mary Margaret Ziegler, 63, of Floral City died at home Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, under the loving care of her family and Hospice. Born in Curlsville, Pa., on Nov. 5, 1935 to Irvin and Hazel Smail, she came to Florida five years ago from Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Floral City United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Ziegler; four sons, Charlie Ziegler and his wife, Cindy, of Shippenville, Pa., Tim Ziegler and his wife, Karen, of San Antonio, Texas, Jamie Ziegler of Floral City, and Dave Ziegler of Clarendon, Pa.; three daughters, Bobbi Wolfgong and her husband, James, of Shippinville, Pa., Tammy Beichner and her husband, Larry, of Knox, Pa., and Brenda Montana and her husband, Joe, of Lucinda, Pa.; two brothers, Hubert Smail of Floral City and Tom Smail of Corsica, Pa.; one sister, Betty Adams of Floral City; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers, Harold, Jim, Bud, David, and Albert and one sister, Bell Best.

Judson Garvin, 68, of Homosassa
Judson B. Garvin, 68, of Homosassa died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at Oak Hill Hospital in Spring Hill. Born in Eustis, he moved to Citrus County 15 years ago from Maitland. He was the president of the Barramundi Corporation in Homosassa. He was Baptist. He was a graduate of the University of Florida. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Garvin also did electrical work for the Kennedy Space Center, power plants and citrus plants all over the southeast. An avid hunter and fisherman, he belonged to the Homosassa Game & Fish Club, the Last Chance Hunting Club, the Florida State Pistol Team and was a pioneer of the center console offshore fishing boat. He was the founder of the Robalo fishing boat. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Natholyn Ann Garvin of Windermere; two sons, Judson B. Garvin III and Jeffrey S. Garvin, both of Homosassa; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Garvin of Maitland and Jennifer G. Tatro of Casselberry; one granddaughter, Jessica Taylor Tatro and two grandsons, Chris and Andrew Tatro.

Grace Jorgensen, 80, of Floral City, died at her home on Sept. 30, 1999. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 25, 1919, she came to Citrus County 22 years ago from New York City, where she worked for General Motors in their overseas division. She was a member of the Scandinavian-American Club. She was Protestant.
She is survived by her husband, Poul Jorgensen of Floral City; and one brother, Gilbert Hansen of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Ronald Russell, 60, of Homosassa
Ronald Lee Russell, 60, of Homosassa, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at his home. He was born to Edith and Oliver Russell on Sept. 4, 1938, in Tampa. He came to Citrus County seven years ago from Belleair. He was a lifelong resident of West Florida, having lived in Tampa, Clearwater and Homosassa. Mr. Russell was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Rangers. He was a retired lineman for Southern Bell Telephone Co. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his mother, Edith E. Petter Russell, who died in January, 1999.
He is survived by two aunts, Geraldine Hutchinson of Tampa and Homosassa Springs and Fannie Lee Burham of Miami, as well as many cousins.

Andrew Findlay, 85, of Homosassa died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. Born in Vincennes, Ind., he came here 20 years ago from Kearny, N.J. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Sterling Drugs in Kearny. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was a member of Crystal River Moose Lodge No. 2013, Copestone-Ophir Masonic Lodge No. 147, Kearny, N.J., and life member of VFW Post 8189, Homosassa Springs. He was Presbyterian.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle E. (James) Findlay of Homosassa; stepdaughter, Linda Carrol James of Homosassa; son-in-law, Thomas Dusseau of Homosassa; four grandchildren, Michael, Tommy, Tammy and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Canyon and Karissia; and one cousin, Mary and Ralph Tietz of Homosassa.

Robert Asa Gilstrap, 49, of Inverness died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000. He was born in Brooksville and was a lifetime resident of Citrus County. He was a 1969 graduate of Citrus High School, attended Central Florida Community College. He was a cattle ranche. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Inverness. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was the son of the late Robert N. Gilstrap, who died on Dec. 11, 1974; father of the late Jade Amber Gilstrap, who died on June 15, 1999; and grandfather of the late Trent Raven Nolan who died on June 15, 1999.
Surviving are his son, Nathan Asa Gilstrap of Inverness; mother, Norine Strickland Gilstrap of Inverness; two sisters, Betty N. Gilstrap of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Teresa L. Gilstrap of Inverness; one niece, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick of Homosassa; and one nephew, Noah Gilstrap of Inverness.

Edward L. ''Eddie'' Harris, 56, of Crystal River died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lake City.
He was born in Ocala on Dec. 25, 1943, to Jessie L. Harris and Beulah (Jowers) Harris and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a boilermaker stationed at the San Diego Naval Base serving aboard the USS Henderson. He was a pipefitter at Florida Power Corp. Crystal River Plant. In recent years he fished commercially in the area.
Surviving are his three sons, James L. and John E. Harris of Crystal River, and Jacob M. Harris of Tampa; daughter, Jaine Ann Harris of Beauford, Ga.; sister, Jaine Viola Harden of Mayo; and seven grandchildren.

Gene Belle Patterson, 77, of Homosassa died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Cypress Cove Care Center.
She was born in Marysville, Pa., and came here 15 years ago from Milan, Pa.
She was a World War II Women's Army Corps veteran. She was a retired cafeteria manager for Athens area schools. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Homosassa Springs.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Corl, and sister, Seretta Scheidrich.

Richard Roberts, 74, of Hernando
Richard ''Dick'' E. Roberts, 74, of Hernando died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. He was born in Clearwater on Sept. 3, 1926, the son of the late Horace David and Alice Mae Tooke Roberts. He served in the Navy during World War II. Upon his return in 1946, he opened Roberts Greenhouses in Clearwater and later bought the Alice Mae Flower Shop from his mother, which he operated for a number of years.
He moved to Citrus County with his wife, Natalie, in 1969 to begin Sky High Ranch. He served as treasurer of the Citrus County Cattlemen in the 1970s and was a member of the Church of Christ in Inverness.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Natalie Upham Roberts of Hernando; four sons, Richard J. Roberts of Boulder, Colo., William E. Roberts of Hernando, Louis J. Iserhardt of St. Petersburg, and William U. Iserhardt of Gainesville; three daughters, Alice R. Kendrick of Hernando, Katherine I. Osborne of Atlanta, Ga., and Lynn I. Lee of Memphis, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Born in Owego, N.Y., on July 16, 1920, to Lyman and Elizabeth (Tyrrell) Witter, she came here five years ago from Tampa. She was an assembler in a shoe factory. She was Protestant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Saddlemire, in 1979.

He was a retired civil engineer and retired from the Veterans Administration. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma P. She owned and operated the Dixie Cream Donut Shop in Inverness with her late husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, on March 24, 1981, and her son, Clyde ''Bud'' Harvey on June 12, 1995.
