Gladys Eleanor Anderson, 83, of Inverness died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, in Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Kearny, N.J., on March 9, 1916, to the late Alexander and Elvira Willman, she came to Florida 24 years ago from Syosset, N.Y. She was an organist and music director for many years with the First Lutheran Church of Syosset and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Inverness where she played the organ on occasion.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arthur W. Anderson; two sons, Gerald A. Anderson of New York City, and Glenn D. Anderson of Bloomington, Ind.; and one brother, Jack Willman of New Bern, N.C.

William Henry Blair Sr., 74, of Inglis died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. Born Sept. 23, 1925, to Willie O. and Ila (Rushing) Blair in Bryan County, Georgia, he came to this area 52 years ago from Richmond Hill, Ga. Mr. Blair was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post No. 8698, Inglis. He attended the First Baptist Church in Inglis.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Clara Blair of Inglis; one son, William Blair Jr. (Debra) of Inglis; one daughter, Shirley Kennedy (Allen) of Inglis; three brothers, Coy of Meldrim, Ga., Frank of Maryville, Tenn., and James of Georgia; three sisters, Thelma Rowe of Blitchton, Ga., Vergie Lee Rahn of Savannah, Ga., and Sadie Blair of Georgia; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Robert John Cummins, 76, of Crystal River died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at the Crystal River Health and Rehab Center. Born April 14, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John and Ann (Sellars) Cummins, he came to this area 27 years ago from Bayshore, L.I., N.Y., where he retired after 20 years as a lieutenant with the Suffolk County Police. Mr. Cummins was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He was Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Elizabeth ''Betty'' Cummins of Crystal River; four sons, Jim Cummins of Crystal River, Robert Cummins (Karen) of Crystal River, Douglas Cummins (Sherrie) of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Tim Cummins (Sue) of Oregon; two stepsons, Allan Abrams of Oklahoma and Kenneth Abrams of Hawaii; five daughters, Barbara Foellmi (Larry) of Dunnellon, Susan Cochran (Allen) of Crystal River, Linda Connors (Doug) of Inverness, Karen Cummins of Beufort, S.C., and Doreen Hasty (Bret) of Oregon; one stepdaughter, Patricia Tortorella of New York; one brother, Jack Cummins of Oregon; and one sister, Evelyn Kelly (Larry) of Sarasota; and 32 grandchildren.

Harry J. Dowling, 81, of Beverly Hills died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000. Born in Bronx, N.Y., he came here 19 years ago from Valley Stream, N.Y. He was a retired partsman in the auto industry. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was Protestant. Mr. Dowling was a life member of VFW Post No. 10087; former Boy Scout scoutmaster for Troop No. 74; historian for the Irish American Social Club; and member of the Suncoast Seniors Bowling League in Beverly Hills.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Mildred Dowling of Beverly Hills; son, Thomas; daughter, Madelyn; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Miss King was a retired seamstress. She was a lifetime member of Wesley Garber Chapel Methodist Church, Christiansburg, Va. and attended the First Baptist Church in Rutland.
Surviving are her niece, Mary Jo Gerardi of Inverness; great-niece, Kelly Jo Gerardi of Blaine, Ky.; three great-nephews, Henry C. Justice III, Mitchell Gerardi, both of Inverness, and Roger D. Gerardi of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio.

Edward Leonard Sczerzenie, 81, of Inverness died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., on March 8, 1918, to the late Felix and Victoria Sczerzenie, he came here 11 years ago from Oneonta, N.Y. Mr. Sczerzenie was a quality control manager for the J.C.Penney department store in New York City. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where he was a member of the choir.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Anne (Gazetas) Sczerzenie; two sons, Francis E. ''Frank'' Sczerzenie of Clinton, N.Y., and Philip J. Sczerzenie of Fairfax, Va.; one daughter, Victoria J. Warden Marshall Webster, 83, of Inverness, died at Mariner Health Care on Friday, Feb. 11, 2000. A native of Farmers Branch, Texas, he was born July 18, 1916, to the late Emsie and Margaret Webster. He came to Florida 23 years ago from Oklahoma City, Okla. He was a retired sales representative for the National Life & Accident Insurance Company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Britton, Okla. He was a World War II Naval veteran. He was a member of the Floral City VFW Post.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Margaret ''Maggie'' Nottingham Webster; one daughter, Tracy McFall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four stepsons, Carl Williams of Franklin, Tenn., Jack Nottingham of Taos, N.M., Dennis Nottingham of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Kent Nottingham of Tallahassee; one stepdaughter, Cecilia Webb of McLeoud, Okla.; one sister, Mildred Cole of Reno, Nev.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rita Wenzel, 85, of Beverly Hills died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Beverly Hills 21 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. Mrs. Wenzel was a homemaker. She was Catholic. She was wife of the late Mr. Ferdinand Wenzel, who died Dec. 19, 1968.
Surviving are her son, Bob (Claire) Wenzel of Seaford, N.Y.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Elaine Ann Butkereit, 73, of Cherry Valley, N.Y., died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River.
She was born to Anna and Tom Sibley on April 19, 1926, in Barrie, Vt. She was a winter resident of Dunnellon from Cherry Valley, N.Y.
She retired from the school system as a librarian and was a volunteer for Immaging Basset Memorial Hospital in Cooperstown, N.Y. She was Catholic.
Surviving are her husband, Paul A. Butkereit of Cherry Valley, N.Y. and Dunnellon; two sons, Paul T. Edward McDonald, 76, of Beverly Hills
Edward J. McDonald, 76, of Beverly Hills, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at his residence under the loving care of family and Hospice of Citrus County.
A native of Montreal, Canada, he came here 20 years ago from Livonia, Mich. He was a retired metallurgist for the Ford Motor Car Co. He was Catholic.
Mr. McDonald was a member of the Beverly Hills Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as past president and past assistant chief, as well as other offices. He was a member of the Elks Club of Homosassa. He served in World War II with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Signal Corps. He was an avid golfer and a past hockey referee.
Surviving are his wife, Frances M. McDonald of Beverly Hills; daughter Marilyn Brownfield and her husband Robert of Livonia, Mich.; two grandsons, Jason and Justin Brownfield of Livonia, Mich.

Oreatha I. O'Neal, 76, of Crystal River, died Saturday morning, Feb. 12, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital.
She was born to John and Effie (Lord) Osteen on June 10, 1923, in Jacksonville and came to Crystal River 37 years ago from Dunnellon. She also resided in Williston in her early years.
She was a retired waitress and had worked at the Green Tavern for many years. She also worked for a time at the Pelican Filling Station in Crystal River.
She was Baptist. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Allen and husband Bud of Crystal River; two sisters, Lucy E. Snow of Tampa and Shirley Johnson of Ocala; two grandchildren, Pam and Jason Allen of Crystal River; two nieces, Julie Johnson of Ocala and Sara Lee Frier of Tampa; two nephews, Greg Johnson of Orlando and Cory Frier of Tampa.

Robert Eugene Beatty, 71, of Inverness died on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Okmulgee, Okla., on Nov. 24, 1928, to Willard and Mary Pearl (Green) Beatty, he came here 20 years ago from California. He retired from the U.S. Army with more than 20 years of service, having served during World War II and the Korean conflict. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marianne; three sisters, Geneva Rutherford of California, Catherine Berry of California and Gladys Allende of California and several nieces and nephews.

Fabio DeMoya, 87, of Homosassa
Fabio E. DeMoya, 87, of Homosassa died on Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital. He was born in Santiago, Cuba, and came here 26 years ago from Miami. He worked in real estate and land development. He emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1947. He moved his family from Havana to Miami in order to go into business for himself. Over the years, he enjoyed a career in banking, real estate and land development. He developed the Naples Park and Fort Myers Shores subdivision on the West Coast of Florida. He also developed ''Rancho El Tesoro,'' a waterfront vacation resort in the Isle of Pines, Cuba. The resort, which offered hotel lodging, a restaurant/lounge, fishing and hunting, operated under DeMoya's management until Castro's takeover of Cuba. Under the current Cuban government, the resort continues to operate and is a popular vacation destination.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; three sons, Robert of Crystal River, Gerard of Indian Rocks Beach and William of Seminole; two sisters, Yolando Pujadas of Jacksonville and Gloria Nichols of Miami and two grandchildren, Suzanne DeMoya and Daniel DeMoya.

Adam Kazalski, 90, of Citrus Springs
Adam Nicholas Kazalski, 90, of Citrus Springs died on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Poland, he was born on Nov. 27, 1909, to Frank and Victoria Kazalski. He came to Florida 19 years ago from Floral Park, N.Y. He was a retired electrical engineer in research and development for the U.S. Army, a graduate of Newark College of Engineers and an avid aviator. He was a member of the Aviation Hall of Fame, Polish-American Club and Inverness Elks Lodge. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Citrus Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Alexandra; stepson, Harry of Germany and one grandchild, Frank Saner.

Steve Machuga, 88, of Inverness died on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000. He was born in Corning, N.Y., and has been coming to Inverness as a winter resident for nine years from Cicero, N.Y. He was a retired electrician. He was a member of the IBEW Local No. 43. He was a member of Minetto Methodist Church of Minetto, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris; a son, Ronald Machuga of Cicero, N.Y.; a daughter, Barbara Tufankjian of St. Petersburg; two sisters; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Volk, 74, of Citrus Springs
Kenneth Henry Volk, 74, of Citrus Springs died on Friday, Feb. 11, 2000. He was born in South Pekin, Ill., and came to Citrus Springs 13 years ago from Burnsville, Minn. He retired from Centel Telephone Co. in 1982 after 30 years of service. He was the commander of the Citrus Springs Crime Watch and a member of the Citrus Springs Multiple Service Benefit Unit. He was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4864 in Citrus Springs. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald David Volk, who died in 1993. He was Lutheran.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lila, a daughter, Susan Lee and her husband Dennis Drentlaw of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; a sister, Wilma Ubben of Pekin, Ill. and five grandchildren.
