Frances P. Coleman, 77, of Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. She was born in Haddock, Ga., she came here seven years ago from Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa. She was a member of Sugarmill Woods Golf and Country Club. She was an avid bridge player.
Surviving are her husband, William "Bill" Coleman of Sugarmill Woods; three sons, Mike McKay of Hilliard, Larry Coleman of Aurora, Colo., and Rick Coleman of Tampa; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Stephen K. Cronan, 29, of Lecanto died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Riverside, Calif., and came to Lecanto six months ago from Jacksonville. He was a commercial diver on oil rigs in New Orleans. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his mother, Cynthia Henderson of Lecanto; father, Robert Cronan of Jacksonville; twin brothers, Michael Cronan and Chris Cronan, both of Jacksonville; two sisters, Angela Danielson of Pawtucket, R.I., and Rachel Bestwick of Tampa; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Venice Cronan of Piedmont, Ala.; and maternal grandmother, Grace Henderson of Pawtucket, R.I.

Audrey R. Dice, 80, of Homosassa died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at her residence. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and came here 23 years ago from Madiera Beach. She was a resident of Florida for the past 30 years. She was owner/operator of Checkerboard Realty of Madiera Beach. She was past president of the Madiera Beach Chamber of Commerce. She served in the U.S. Army, belonging to the V.A.
She is survived by nine nieces and nephews. Violet Faulkenburg was her loving companion for seven years. She was preceded in death by the entire Dice family.

Bernard F. Farrell, 53, of Dunnellon died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his residence. Born in Youngwood, Pa., he came here five months ago from Punta Gorda. Mr. Farrell was a general laborer. He was Roman Catholic.
He is survived by three brothers, Regis and wife Nancy of Dunnellon, Patrick and wife Sally of Greensburg, Pa., and James and wife Sandee of Greensburg, Pa.; one sister, Rosemary Vaccaro of McLean, Va.; one niece and three nephews.

Donald Brian Hoskins, 65, of Inglis died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at his residence under the care of his loving family. Born Oct. 10, 1934, to Lois (Wall) and Oscar Hoskins in Boone County, Ind., he came here three years ago from Advance, Ind. Mr. Hoskins was a self-employed automobile mechanic. He was Pentecostal and a member of Rock Church in Inglis.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Hoskins; one son, Mickey of Jamestown, Ind.; two sisters, Marjorie Perry of Inglis and Marie Johnson of Jamestown, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Mr. Kimelstein was a retired sheet metal construction worker. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the Congregation Beth Shalom, Beverly Hills.

Charleston, W.Va. He moved to Inverness in 1981 from Dade City, Fla. Mr. King was a member of the First Baptist Church, Inverness.

Mrs. Koselke was a retired office manager after 18 years of service for several oil companies in the Chicago suburbs. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills. She was a former leader of the pool aerobic class at Meadowcrest.

Bill H. Matthews, 53, of Homosassa died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000. He was born in Russellville, Ala., and came to Homosassa a year and a half ago from Clio, Mich. Mr. Matthews retired from General Motors in September 1998. He was a member of the Sugarmill Woods Golf Club; Crystal River Moose Lodge; Citrus County Cruisers. He was an avid boater at Magic Manatee Marina, Homosassa. He was Protestant.
Surviving are his wife, Judith "Judy" A. Reid Matthews of Homosassa; one son, Dr. Terry Matthews of Lansing, Mich.; four stepdaughters, Kimberly Duptanty of Davison, Mich., Cindy St. Cin of Bay City, Mich., Tina Kujallnski and Michelle Stefanski, both of Clio, Mich.; one sister, Bonnie Fay Roberts of Cleveland, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

Richard Franklyn Natteal, 51, of Crystal River died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000. He was born July 27, 1948, to the late Mrs. Jimmie L. Shackford Natteal and Mr. Strother J. Natteal Jr. He graduated from Booker T. Washington Public School of Citrus County. He also served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1966 to 1969. He was converted in the Pentecostal Church In Christ. He was a member of Unity Church of Christ Written in Heaven of Crystal River.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Marcus Natteal of Crystal River, Johnathon Boonie of Fort Hood, Texas, and Joseph Natteal of Ocala; four grandchildren; seven sisters, Bonnie Jones of Lake Wales, Fredricka Allen, Della Rice, Verna Brooks, Brenda Lecorn and Elizabeth Natteal, all of Crystal River, and Jennie Parker of Archer; two brothers, Strother Natteal III of Crystal River and Arthur Natteal of Bushnell; and one goddaughter, Myeshia Bellamy.

Genevieve M. Sallay, 87, of Beverly Hills died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000. She was born in Hazel Crest, Ill., and came to Beverly Hills 15 years ago from Downers Grove, Ill. Mrs. Sallay was a member of the First Baptist Church, Beverly Hills. She was wife of the late Mr. Robert Z. Sallay, who died in August 1996.

Mrs. Smith was a retired bookkeeper for the U.S. Government. She was a member of the AARP and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness.
Surviving are her son, Lawrence S. Smith of Lake Mary; two daughters, Theresa A. Smith and Antoinette Smith, both of Inverness; one sister, Marlene Moronski of Rochester, N.Y.; and three grandsons, Richard P. Smith, Justin Smith, and Alexander Smith.

Lucille Sylvin, 94, formerly of Hernando
Lucille Edith Sylvin, 94, of St. Petersburg died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Edward White Hospital. She came to Florida in 1940 from her native Burlington, Vt. She retired as a registered nurse at the VA Medical Center at Bay Pines in 1965 after 20 years. She was Catholic. She lived in Hernando in the community of Lake Park from 1973-1997 where she was active in the Fleet Reserve Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Allan E. Hazen, and a daughter, Margaret Gifford, both of St. Petersburg; two brothers, Francis Joachin of St. Petersburg and Rollin Sutton of Burlington, Vt.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Epps, 77, of Dunnellon died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Ocala. She was born in Monet, Mo., and moved to Dunnellon from Toledo, Ohio, in 1978. Mrs. Epps was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Plymouth, Mich.
Surviving are her husband, Charles T. Epps of Dunnellon; son, Charles Epps of Houston, Texas; daughter, Rebecca Prossen of Wixom, Mich.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Charles Schweiker Jr., 79, of Dunnellon
Charles Arthur Schweiker Jr., 79, of Dunnellon died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, under the loving care of his family. Born in Queens, N.Y., he came here from Richmond Hill, N.Y., in 1983. Mr. Schweiker was a pressman chairman for New York Daily News, New York, N.Y. He retired in 1982 after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Printing Pressmans Union Local and International, New York, N.Y. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. He was a World War II Army veteran and served with the prestigious 1st Engineer Amphibian Brigade-531st Engineer Shore Regiment from North Africa to Berlin. In 1969, on the 25th anniversary of D-Day, he had an audience on the altar with Pope Paul.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Schweiker of Dunnellon; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ret. Col. Robert Maggio of Lansing, Kan.; daughter-in-law, Maureen Schweiker of Valley Stream, N.Y.; four grandsons, Robert, Chris and Steven Maggio and Ryan Schweiker; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Charles A. Schweiker III in 1994.

Michael Williams, 48, of Ozello died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, in Ozello. Born May 4, 1951, to Hazel (Swope) and Chester Williams in Zanesville, Ohio, he came here eight months ago from Frazeysburg, Ohio. He was an electrician with Comstock Electric of Ohio. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 0490, Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 1278, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 731 and Elks Lodge, all of Panesville, Ohio.
Mr. Williams is survived by his companion in life, Susan Powell, of Ozello; son, Curtis Williams of Dresden, Ohio; daughter, Cassy Schumacher (Pete) of Frazeysburg, Ohio; mother, Hazel Williams of Frazeysburg, Ohio; sister, Roberta Tapley of Topeka, Kan.; granddaughter, Brittany Schumacher; four nieces and two nephews; and close family friends, Duane and Nita Hood of Frazeysburg, Ohio.

Jean Helmick Costello Ervin, 67, of Kingwood, W.Va., died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born March 31, 1932, in Henderson, W.Va., to the late Obed and Marjorie Bonner Helmick Jennings. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Reedsville, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce W. Ervin, who died in February 1998; one brother, Keith Helmick; one sister and a grandson.

William R. Stark, 97, of Lecanto died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Brentwood Health Center in Lecanto. Born in Germany, he moved from Detroit, Mich., to Florida, where he lived for five years in Ocala and then for five years in Lecanto. He was a former member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Ocala. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Lecanto.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley R. Janisko of Lecanto; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Michael Valenti, 81, of Crystal River
Michael L. Valenti, 81, of Crystal River died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in Danville, Pa. He was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Pittston Township, Pa., to the late Carmello Valenti and Pasqualina Lanza.
Valenti attended college in West Pittston. He operated three Arthur Murray Schools of Dance in New York with his wife, Bernice. Before he retired, he worked as a photo technician. He was also a watchmaker and jeweler. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived in Crystal River for 13 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 155 in Crystal River and Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Crystal River.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Rosario, Charles, Joseph and Michael Valenti and a sister, Salvatrice Valenti.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Warziniak Valenti; two sons, Michael C. Valenti of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Joseph C. Valenti of West Pittston, Pa.; a daughter, Patricia Valenti Dvorscak of Crystal River; four sisters, Regina Montagna, Anna Valenti and Angeline Sciandra, all of Pittston Township, and Theresa Eleinhans of Jenkins Township, Pa.; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
