Jean Windsor, 82, of Crystal River died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000. She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and came to Crystal River 16 years ago from Reddington Beach. Mrs. Windsor was Protestant.

Lillian Chenoweth, 82, of Inverness
Lillian Arlene Wood Chenoweth, 82, of Inverness died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000. She was born in Reedy, W.Va., and came to Inverness 33 years ago from Bartlett, Ohio. Mrs. Chenoweth was a retired special reading school teacher from Inverness elementary school and taught at Dunnellon and Homosassa schools. She was a graduate of Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and Delta Kappa Gama. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Inverness, where she was a member of the Christian Service Ministry. She was a Fidelis Sunday School teacher. She was wife of the late Mr. Curtis H. "Curt" Chenoweth, who died Oct. 22, 1994; and sister of the late Herschel Wood, Ira Wood, Virginia Cunningham, Grace Dye and Myrtle Wood.
Surviving are her son, Pastor Gary Curtis (Barbara) Chenoweth of Stanley, Va.; four daughters, Arlene Ruth (Carroll) Gilliland of Soldotna, Ark., Marie Chenoweth (Cecil) Wigal of Brandon, Rita Jean (Warren) Brooks of Spring Hill, and Sandra Kay (David) Kelly of Lexington, N.C.; two brothers, Thomas A. Wood of Reedy, W.Va., and Don E. Wood of Lake Panasoffkee; two sisters, Doris Waldeck of Belpre, Ohio, and Betty Daggett of Parkersburg, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Bruna Piera Colapinto, 79, of Inverness died at home on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, under the loving care of her family and Hospice. A native of Florence, Italy, she came to Florida 20 years ago from Deer Park, N.Y. She was employed in the garment industry as a seamstress and fitter. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and the Citrus American and Italian Social Club.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Dominick Colapinto; two sons, Richard Colapinto and Robert Colapinto, both of Deer Park, N.Y.; one daughter, JoAnn Colapinto of Deer Park, N.Y.; one brother, Vezio Pasquetti of Italy; and nine grandchildren.

Grace Bennett French, 83, of Lecanto, formerly of Royal Oaks, Inverness, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000. She was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Mrs. French was a retired office worker. She enjoyed writing and painting. She was the wife of the late Mr. Charles H. French, who died in 1973.
Surviving are three nieces, one nephew, three step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.

Alma Lancaster, 73, formerly of Inverness
Alma Lanier Lancaster, 73, of Gainesville died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000. She was born in Gulf Hammock. She moved to Gainesville in 1983 from Inverness. Mrs. Lancaster was a member of the Brooker Baptist Church in Brooker. During her working years she was employed as a school bus driver with the Citrus County Public School System. Mrs. Lancaster was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jessie Strawn Lanier; son, Kenneth L. Lancaster; and husband, Daniel Webster Lancaster Sr.
Surviving are three sons, Richard E. Lancaster and Donald W. Lancaster both of Brooker, and Gary T. Lancaster of Ocala; one daughter, Virginia A. Lancaster of Gainesville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Carmelo S. Paladino, 85, of Beverly Hills died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at his residence. Born in New York City, he came here 22 years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Paladino was a machinist for the U.S. Navy; veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army; member of Society of 1st Division. He was a life member of VFW Harry F. Nesbitt Post 10087 of Beverly Hills. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills.
He is survived by his son, William M. Paladino, and grandson, Michael Paladino, both of Kings Park, L.I., N.Y.

Frank Bodry, 79, of Inverness
Frank J. Bodry, 79, of Inverness died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at his home, under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Mr. Bodry was born in Decatur, Ala., on April 16, 1920, to Ralph and Ruth Bodry. He retired after 30 years of service as a mechanic for Pan American Airlines. He moved to Inverness in 1982 from Miami Springs, Fla. Mr. Bodry was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy R. Bodry of Inverness; two daughters, Penelope Bodry-Sanders of New York City and Deborah Cochran of Bend, Ore.; one son, Jeffery Bodry of Clinton, Utah; one sister, Patricia Borak of Sanford; and four grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Adrien and Kendra Bodry all of Clinton, Utah, and Kipling Sanders of New York City.

Michael DeGuliam, 75, of Floral City
Michael J. DeGuliam, 75, of Floral City, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born March 19, 1924, to Joseph and Angela DeGuliam in Newark, N.J. He moved to Floral City in 1974 from Madeira Beach. Mr. Deguliam was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired refrigeration repairman. He was a past wagon master of the Sassy Sam-Good Sam Camping Association of Citrus County.
Surviving are his wife, Violet of Floral City; sons, Ronald of St. Petersburg, Daniel of Willow Springs, N.C., and Dean of Athens, Ala.; a daughter, Bonnie Fisher of St. Petersburg; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Shane and Shirene Fisher, all of St. Petersburg, and Erin and Jared DeGuliam of Willow Springs, N.C. Mr. DeGuliam was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angela DeGuliam.

Francis F. Griffin, 67, of Homosassa died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Mackinac, Mich., to William and Marian Griffin. He was a retired plumber. Mr. Griffin served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

Charlotte Lenore Marker, 87, of Inverness died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and came to Inverness from Monaca, Pa. Mrs. Marker was a retired registered nurse. She started and was the first nurse hired at Citrus Memorial Hospital, and became the supervisor and director of nursing there. She was a member of the American Nursing Association. She was a member of Point O' Woods Country Club. She was Protestant. She was wife of the late Mr. Howard Dale Marker, who died Jan. 4, 1992.
She is survived by her sister, Hope Ann Savicky of Inverness.

Sylvia Padro, 69, of Inverness
Sylvia O. Padro, 69, of Inverness died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at the Orlando Regional Medical Center as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Puerto Rico on Feb. 2, 1931, to Gonzalo Padro and Carolina Borrelli, she came here eight years ago from Ciales, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Padro was a retired elementary and junior high school teacher and was a member of the First Spanish Church of Inverness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Sierra, on Feb. 23, 2000, due to the same accident.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Ruben D. Sierra, M.D., of Kennewick, Wash.; daughter, Mildred Fraticelli of Puerto Rico; mother, Carolina Borrelli of Puerto Rico; brother, Edwin Padro of Puerto Rico; sister, Nilda Padro of Puerto Rico; and five grandchildren.

Mary C. Reale, 103, of Lecanto, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. A native of Italy, she came to Lecanto in April 1990 from New Britain, Conn. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic. She will be later laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain, Conn.
Survivors include four sons, George Reale, Joseph Reale both of Beverly Hills, Albert Reale of Port Charlotte, and Louis Reale of Wethersfield, Conn.; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Nelia "Nellie" Rodriguez, 66, of Inverness died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Puerto Rico on April 29, 1933 to the late Marcos and Elena (Velez) Rodriguez, she came here in 1992 from Elizabeth, N.J. Mrs. Rodriguez was a retired department store sales clerk and a member of the First Spanish Church of Inverness. She was employed at the Inverness Golden Corral where she was known as the "Salad Queen." She was a second mother to many.
Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Israel Rodriguez; son, Israel Rodriguez Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; daughter, Debbie and her husband Tony Santiago of Allen, Texas; brother, Miguel Angel Rodriguez of Bronx, N.Y.; sister, Jennie Cotto of Kissimmee; and three grandchildren.

Ruben D. Sierra, 70, of Inverness died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Puerto Rico on Aug. 10, 1929, to the late Carmelo and Ana Sierra, he came here eight years ago from Ciales, Puerto Rico. Mr. Sierra was a retired bookkeeper with the Puerto Rico Department of Transportation. He was a member of the First Spanish Church of Inverness. Mr. Sierra's wife, Sylvia Padro died on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, due to the same accident.

Coralee G. Roddenberry Strube, 59, of Port Richey died at her home on Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. She was born in Crystal River, and moved to Port Richey from Loveland, Calif., in 1996. She was assistant director of Miss Betty's Child Care & Preschool of New Port Richey. She was Baptist.

She moved here from Yonkers, N.Y., 25 years ago. She was a retired fitter in the garment industry. She was a member of Citrus County Art League. She was Catholic.
She is survived by her son, Charles and Elizabeth Lattanzi of Montgomery, Ala.; and two grandchildren, Mara and Amalia Lattanzi both of Montgomery, Ala.
