James ''Jim'' R. Josey, 67, of Crystal River died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. Born in West Palm Beach, he moved to Citrus County 24 years ago from Palm Beach County. He was a retired ornamental horticulturist and longtime owner of Homosassa Springs Florist. He was a member of the Congregationalist Church. His memberships include: American Legion Post No. 155 in Crystal River, Buyers & Sellers Club in West Palm Beach, Democratic Executive Committee in West Palm Beach, Citrus United Basket of Citrus County, Citrus County Ostomy Club, West Palm Beach South African Botanical Society and West Palm Beach Florida Nursery Growers Association. He was an assistant agricultural agent in Citrus County and manager of the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park's orchid growing range. He was also an avid fisherman and bird hunter. He is survived by his wife, Dawn D. Josey of Crystal River; daughter Leslie Frohlich of Orlando; brother Thomas S. Edwain Seufert, 77, of Inverness
Edwain Joseph Seufert, 77, of Inverness died Jan. 30, 2000, in Citrus Memorial Hospital. A native of Fort Lee, N.J., he was born to John and Mary (Casper) Seufert on Feb. 20, 1922. He came to Florida 21 years ago from Ridgefield, N.J. He owned and operated Sebo Interior Decorators for 20 years in Palasides Park, N.J. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6391, the Inverness Moose and Elks lodges and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Clarence H. ''Jack'' Morrison Jr., 69, of Inverness, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at his home under the loving care of his wife and Hospice of Citrus County. He was born July 2, 1930, in Columbia, S.C., to Clarence and Sudie Morrison. He was the chief maintenance engineer for Independent Life Insurance Company in Jacksonville. He moved to Inverness in 1981 from Jacksonville. He was the maintenance manager for the Key Training Center of Citrus County for the past 18 years. Survivors include his wife, Elsie I.
