Marie B. Fulgham, 64, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 in Albany, Ga. She was born in Brooksville.
Mrs. Fulgham was employed by Hogan's Drug Store for 35 years. She was a member of the Hernando County Business Woman's Association, Hernando County Ostomy Club and First Baptist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include four children, Cleo Rudolph Fulgham Jr. of Easley, S.C., Albert William Fulgham of Leesburg, Ga., Ava Marie Hughes of Lakeland and Alan Bryant Fulgham of Hudson; two brothers, Hal Brannan of Keystone Heights and Charles E. Brannan of Oak Harbor, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Edith Ardene Romanowski, 83, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. She moved to this area 21 years ago from Fennville, Mich.
Mrs. Romanowski was a homemaker and World War II U.S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley Romanowski of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert Romanowski of Algonquin, Ill.; a sister; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Clara A. “Mickey” Baier, 86, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Wall Township, N.J.
Mrs. Baier was the co-owner of the Willow Park Coffee Shop, Wall, N.J. In her later years, she assisted in providing packages to U.S. troops stationed in Iraq through the coordinated efforts of her friends at Campers Holiday in Brooksville.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Baier of Mount Holly, N.J., and Judith Ann Cubberley of Denver, Colo.; two sons, George Richard Baier of Cazenovia, N.Y., and Richard Robert Baier of Brick, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

James E. Murphy, 93, of Andover, Ohio, formerly of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007.
Mr. Murphy was a retired production manager for Sealtest Dairy, a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his son, James P. Murphy of Spring Hill; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Stacey Libengood-Trabucco, 36, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007. She was born in Clearwater and moved to this area six years ago from Clearwater.
Mrs. Libengood-Trabucco was a licensed practical nurse for 10 years, a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Trabucco; a son, Corey Trabucco of New Port Richey; a daughter, Ericka Trabucco of Largo; her mother, Marcia Wills of Largo; her father, Robert Libengood of Chiefland; a brother, Robert Libengood of Brooksville; and a sister, Amanda Wills of Largo.

Selma E. Turner, 82, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. She was born in Upland, Calif., and moved to this area 24 years ago from Brentwood, N.Y.
Mrs. Turner was a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Gail T. Turner of Brooksville; a son, William Turner of Brooksville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosenda Batson, 95, of Burbank, Calif., formerly of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at the Burbank Rehab Center, California. She was born in New York, N.Y.
Mrs. Batson completed her education in New York, N.Y., and had the distinction of having a chapter written to honor her accomplishments in Rosemary Reed-Miller’s book “Threads of Time.”
She was a well-known fashion designer and dressmaker in New York, N.Y. She was also an artist who won awards for her paintings and stained glass work.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Johnston of Spring Hill and Yvonne Batson of Burbank, Calif.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.

John Daniel DeLuca, 71, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at his home. He was born in Port Chester, N.Y., and moved to this area 22 years ago from Woodburg, Conn.
Mr. DeLuca was a retired banking executive, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the YMCA and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Steven DeLuca of Spring Hill; a daughter, Diana Noto of Hudson; two sisters, Patricia Conkling and Ann Marie Diliberto, both of Connecticut; and seven grandchildren.

Edward L. Dennis, 77, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was a lifelong resident of Brooksville.
Mr. Dennis was a contractor in the construction industry in Brooksville and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Gary and Rick, both of Brooksville, and Larry of Sevierville, Tenn.; a daughter, Cyndi Lukawski of Spring Hill; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Billy Jack Smith, 50, of Brooksville, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at his sister's home.
He was born in DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and moved to this area 44 years ago from Florala, Ala.
Survivors include his son, Billy Jack Smith Jr. of Ocala; seven brothers, Johnny Smith of Tampa, Steve Smith of Floral City, Roger Smith of Aripeka, and Roy Smith, Junior Smith, George and Danny Smith, all of Brooksville; and two sisters, Helen Sawyer of Dade City and Mary Ann Snoddy of Pinellas Park.

Louise G. Hanish, 93, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Windsor Woods Nursing Home.
She was born in Fargo, N.D., and moved to this area nine years ago from Fargo. She was manager of the Brownie Bakery in Fargo for 20 years. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, Hudson, and a lifetime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Fargo.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Wallace of Spring Hill; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Thelma Evelyn Moschella, 95, of New Port Richey, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at New Port Inn, New Port Richey.
She was born in Sagamore, Mass., and moved to Florida 25 years ago from Brockton, Mass. She retired from manufacturing and was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include a sister, Laura Beltz of Massachusetts; a niece, Gwendolyn Vallancourt; and several other nieces and nephews.

John "Jack" Vincent Davis Sr., 82, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at his home.
He was born in Braddock, Pa., and moved to this area 24 years ago from North Huntington, Pa. He retired as a master boilermaker with U.S. Steel after 43 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW and Knights of Columbus, all of Irwin, Animal Rescue League, Lions Club of Spring Hill, and St. Theresa Catholic Church, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, a former usher at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores "Dolly"; a son, John V. Davis Jr. of Brooksville; three daughters, Eileen Davis of Spring Hill, Colleen Clark of Greensburg, Pa., and Noreen Baldwin of Kent, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Rose Jackson, 85, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Forest Oaks Care Center, Spring Hill.
She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area recently from Leesburg. She was a secretary and co-owner and operator of Hammond Organ, Jacksonville, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and Ladies Shrine Auxiliary, and attended First United Methodist Church, Hudson.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Kenneth; a stepbrother, Byron Berlin of Cheboygan, Mich.; several nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Edwin and Janie Berlin.

Dorothy M. Stech, 76, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Florida 22 years ago from South Holland. She was a homemaker, a member of Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, Spring Hill, past president of the Ladies 9-Hole Golf League at Brookridge, past chairwoman of the Forest Oaks Lutheran Church Altar Guild, and past treasurer of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L.; a son, Lawrence Stech of Woodridge, Ill.; a daughter, Jill Stech of Legrange Park, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

Earnest W. "Bill" Soltwisch, 75, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Congress Park, Ill., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Downers Grove, Ill. He was the owner of Wise & Associates appraisers for 24 years. He was a police officer in Downers Grove and Naperville, Ill. for 20 years, helped start the Naperville Junior Rifle Club in 1964 and was named Citizen of the Year by the City of Naperville for his work with the young members of the Rifle Club and was manager of the Lisle office for Thorsen Realtors. He was a Korean conflict U.S. Coast Guard veteran, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary 15-08, president of Berkeley Manor Homeowners Association, a member and former president of the Tampa Chapter of the Independent Fee Appraiser Association (IFA), former president of the Pinellas County IFA Chapter, a life member of the NRA and holds a National Pistol Shooting record, and was a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Michele Mintzer Soltwisch; and a daughter, Debra Morgan Cummings of Crystal River.

Jean L. DeCicco, 77, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at her home. She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 27 years ago.
Mrs. DeCicco worked as a receptionist at St. John’s University and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, James DeCicco of Bellmore, Long Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Janice Cunningham of Spring Hill; a brother, Rudy Petitto of Sarasota; and seven grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Fred Phillips of Oklahoma and Bob Phillips of Brooksville; three daughters, Jackie Beach of Columbus, Neb., Linda Eye of Mission, Kan., and Teressa McCaughey of Louisburg, Kan.; a brother, John Nester of Hutchinson, Kan.; a sister, Phyllis Jean Hobson of Wichita, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Nardelli was a home improvement salesman, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of Hope Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Celia; a son, Peter of Flemington, N.J.; two daughters, Nancy L. Smith of Spring Hill and Linda C. Clayton of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Genevieve (Mountain) Carr, 87, of Sheboygan, Wis., formerly of Brooksville, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, Sheboygan.
She was born in Dunnellon, lived in Brooksville, and moved to Sheboygan 69 years ago. She was a homemaker, a 1935 graduate of Hernando High School and an active member of the Methodist Church in Sheboygan.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur S.; two daughters, Sharon VanHaveren of Sheboygan and Mary Ann Kusler of Wisconsin; two brothers, Adrian Mountain of Kansas City, Mo., and Frasier Mountain of Brooksville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Whilma H. McCallum, 79, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center of Brooksville.

She was a bookkeeper and homemaker, and was a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. George M.; a son, Richard Maxwell of Kingston, N.Y.; a daughter, Patricia Fountain of Broadalbin, N.Y.; two stepsons, Donald McCallum of Dade City and Darryl McCallum of Salisbury, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Donna Pottey of Truckee, Calif., and Dawn Cornell of Gilboa, N.Y.; a brother, Douglas Kane of Sprakers, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Ann Mary Chorvat, 87, of Masaryktown, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005.
She was born in Binghamton, N.Y., and moved to the area in 1928 from Tarentum, Pa.
She owned and operated chicken farms in the Masaryktown area and was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She also served as a volunteer for Hernando-Pasco Hospice and the Alzheimer's Support Group.
Survivors include her three sons, Danny Chorvat of Hollywood, Fla., Bobby Chorvat of Eustis and Jan Chorvat of Lutz; three brothers, John Alexsuk and Milan Alexsuk, both of Masaryktown and Jerry Alexsuk of Montverde, Fla.; one sister, Helen Jones of Masaryktown; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
