Curley Owens Sr., 73, of Brookville, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Hurtsboro, Ala., and moved to this area 52 years ago. He was retired from CSX Transportation after 30 years and McKethan Cattle Corporation after 20 years. He was a member and a deacon of Rose Temple Apostolic Church, Bushnell.

James F. “Jimmy” Hughes, 46, of Lecanto, formerly of Brooksville, died Friday, April 7, 2006 at his home. He was born in Brooksville and moved to Lecanto 20 years ago.
Mr. Hughes was a welder mechanic for the Crystal River Power Plant 1 and 2. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and a Baptist by faith.
