Joseph Thomas Cronin Sr., 75, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y. He was a Jehovah Witness and a member of the West Kingdom Hall. He played wheelchair basketball with the Eastern Paralyzed Veteran Association.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lee; a son, Joseph T. Cronin Jr. of New York; five daughters, Debra Glass of Virginia, Margaret Talesnick and Betty Jo McCue, both of New York, Joann Davenport of Wilmington, N.C., and Dorothy Maddalena of Florida; two sisters, Muriel Breschard of Long Island and Mary Maletta of Ozone Park, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Thomas “Tom” Lyons Jr., 64, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia and moved to the area 27 years ago.
Mr. Lyons was a retired Philadelphia police officer and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a Roman Catholic.

Richard P. Merando Sr., 71, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 23, at his home. He was born in Cleveland and moved to the area seven years ago from Newark, Ohio.
Mr. Merando was a minister for the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons Joseph, of New Port Richey, Richard Jr., of Coos Bay, Ore., and Anthony, of Spring Hill; daughters, Sally, of West Palm Beach; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Helen Carter, 70, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. She was born in Corbin, Ky., and moved to the area 62 years ago.
Ms. Carter was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include her son, Tommy; daughters, Karen and Sharon; sisters, Joyce and Barbara; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Joseph Lemon, 66, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa. He was born in Fort Benning, Ga., and moved to the area six years ago from Clearwater.
Mr. Lemon served in the U.S. Army.

Chris Hutchinson, 44, of Hernando Beach, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Ocean Side, Calif., and moved to the area 15 years ago from Miami.
Mrs. Hutchinson was the owner of Chris' Home Cleaning Service, a member of Withlacoochee Rock Hounds and Grace Community Church.

Mr. Gray was a heavy machine operator for Florida Rock, a member of the Brooksville Community Center and a Baptist by faith.

She was a scout leader for the Brownie and Cub Scouts, and was a 4H Leader for boys. She was a Catholic by faith.

He was born in Enterprise, Ala., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Waretown, N.J. He was a retired metal lathe operator, a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and U.S. Army air corps veteran of World War II, earning the Purple Heart.
