David DiCioccio, 69, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005.
He was born in Hartford, Conn. He retired after 43 years as a painter and mechanic in Connecticut. He was a 32nd degree Mason with Hartford Lodge No. 88, a Shriner with the Sphinx Temple Cycle Unit where he was a past captain in Newington and a member of the Elks Club in both Middleton, Conn., and Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn DiCioccio of Brooksville; a daughter, Lisa Marie DiCioccio of Deering, N.H.; a son, David A. DiCioccio of Windsor Locks, Conn.; a stepson, Robert Cowling of Saginaw, Mich.; four brothers, John DiCioccio of Spring Hill, William DiCioccio of Newington, Conn., Robert DiCioccio of East Windsor, Conn., and Silvio DiCioccio of Wethersfield, Conn.; four sisters, Yolanda DiCioccio of Wethersfield, Conn., Florence Radigan of West Hartford, Conn., Helen Maurina of Wisconsin and Theresa Sargeant of California; and one grandson.

Thomas Pellicane, 61, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Deer Park, Long Island, N.Y. He was Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Spring Hill; sons Thomas of New York, James of Spring Hill and Richard of New Port Richey; a daughter, Lisa Laderwager of Spring Hill; mother, Mary Pellicane of New York; brother Andrew Pellicane of New York; sisters Maryann Iarocci, Linda Pellicane, Agatha Ott, Roxanne D'Amico and Jeanne Pellicane, all of New York; and eight grandchildren.

Patricia J. Mercier, 69, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Aug.12, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area three years ago from Holiday. She was a Catholic by faith.

Walter "Bud" Keene, 84, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Aug.13, 2004, at his home.
He was born in Rockland, Mass. He was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry and upon retiring, he built his own house in Florida. He was a U.S. Marines veteran, having served on the Island of Iwo Jima. He was wounded and awarded the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; three daughters, Nancy Polinsky of Pinellas Park, Avis Merritt of Spring Hill and Janice Davis of Shrewsbury, Mass.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Lena Ceccio, 86, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Hutchson, W.Va., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Miramar, Fla. She worked in the factories of Owens-Illinois and Westinghouse. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Miramar.
Survivors include her husband, Bastiano; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth E. Summers, 95, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Aug.13, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Spencer County, Indiana, and moved to this area 25 years ago from Indianapolis. She retired after 25 years of service as an executive secretary for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Co. She was active in the International Toastmistress Association and Samaritans Purse Charities. She was former "Woman of the Year" with American Business Women's Association in Indiana and was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Anne Ray of Spring Hill, Barbara E. White of Indianapolis and Janet R. Baxter of Walnut, Calif.; and a grandson.

Verne D. Rider Jr., 84, of Brooksville, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to this area 38 years ago from Warrenton, Va. He was owner/consultant/sales of V&W Rider Co.
Survivors include his wife, Winifred "Winnie"; four daughters, Valerie Beasley of Check, Va., Leslie Araki of Rockville, Md., Janice Rider of Tampa and Denise McFall of Parkland, Fla.; a son, Verne D. Rider III of Philadelphia, Pa.; and 11 grandchildren.

Lorraine "Lizzy" E. Greene, 74, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at her home.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Brentwood, Long Island, N.Y. She was a homemaker, a member of Weeki Wachee Senior Citizens Club and a volunteer at Forest Oaks Care Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Horodnik of Spring Hill; and a son, Richard Horodnik of Spring Hill.

Raymond T. Vanderwarren, 83, of Brooksville, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Oak Lawn, Ill. He retired as captain after 28 years with the Chicago Fire Department. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the Central and Western Pacific and Air Offensive in Japan. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Brookridge Golf & Country Club and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; three sons, Richard of Oak Forest, Ill., Raymond of Oak Lawn and David of Brooksville; a daughter, Judy Lavish of Monticello, Ind.; a sister, Audrey Hepburn of Smyrna, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and moved to this area nine years ago from his native New Jersey. He retired from Pamarco Inc., where he worked in the quality control department. He attended Edison Vocational High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; two daughters, Linda Arant of Tampa and Lisa Mora of Clearwater; a sister, Nell Nesbit of Montgomery, Ala.; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Leonel; two sons, Richard Gadoury of Spring Hill and Allen Gadoury of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Connie Hutt of Danville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Grace E. Bean, 69, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at her home.
She was born in Freehold, N.J. and moved to this area 19 years ago from Howell, N.J. She retired after 17 years with Worthington Diagnostic Systems as a quality control technician and was Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; three sons, Raymond of Otter Creek, and David Wayne and Robert, both of Spring Hill; a daughter, Sandra Drzewieck of Riverview; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Richard T. Daly, 66, of Spring Hill, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at his home.
He was born in Woodside, Queens, N.Y. and moved to this area 15 years ago from New York City. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and served four years with the U.S. Marines. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, was a member of the AA Fun & Frolic group in Spring Hill, enjoyed swimming and watching movies.
Survivors included his companion, Jeanette of Spring Hill; brother Edward Daly of New York City; and niece Elizabeth Daly of New York City.

Paul J. McMonigle, 64, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at home.
He was born in Hawk Run, Pa., and moved to this area two years ago from Passaic, N.J. He was retired from Scher Brothers Chemical Company, New Jersey, and was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia; a son, Paul of Keewaydin, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

Lucy J. Ala, 64, of Brooksville, died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
She was born in Chapmanville, W.Va., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Logan, W.Va. She was a news reporter for the Sun Journal, Brooksville and the Logan Banner, Logan. She was a member of Eden Baptist Church.
Survivors include an aunt, Margaret D. Isaacs of Brooksville; an uncle, John B. Johnston of W. Hamlin, W.Va.; and numerous cousins.
