He was born in Pennsylvania and moved to this area four years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a retired factory worker for General Motors, a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran, an UAW Union Representative, a member of the Elks Lodge and Loyal Order of Eagles, both of Houghton Lake, and attended Armenian Apostle Church.

He was a native of Tyler, Texas, and moved to this area 21 years ago from Northlake, Ill. After 30 years with the U.S. Navy as a stationary engineer, he worked for the Keebler Company. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor, having served on the Battleship Oklahoma. He was a mason and lifetime member of Leyden Township Lodge, Franklin Park, Ill., Brookridge Fishing Club and charter member of Mariner United Methodist Church.

He was a native of Ashley, Ill., and moved to this area 40 years ago from Palatine, Ill., where he was an owner of a wholesale meat business. He was a retired real estate developer, U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. He was a benefactor for several Pasco and Hernando County community groups and churches, and he and his wife founded the Walter B. and Ruth E. Krysher Eminent Educator Fund of the Pasco Education Foundation.

R. Scot Chapman, 43, of Spring Hill, and Wilkesboro, N.C., died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 in North Wilkesboro, N.C. Born in Montgomery, Ala., he moved to this area six years ago from Suches, Ga. He was employed with Eckerd Youth Alternatives for 21 years and recently served as residential Director at Camp E-Ma-Etu in Boomer, N.C. He was a graduate of St. Leo College with bachelor's degree in Human Services, he coached minor league baseball with the Hernando Youth League and was an avid fisherman and storyteller, a true husband, father and friend.
