Ben S. Fuller, 88, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was born in Murphysboro, Ill., and moved to this area 22 years ago. He was vice president of sales and vice president of manufacturing with L. G. Balfour Co., and president of Balfour Canada and a World War II U.S. Army Captain. He was a member of the Brooksville Golf and Country Club, Sertoma International and Mariner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kathie; two sons, Bill Moshier of Ocala and Ed of Laguna Hills, Calif.; a daughter, Lynn Moshier of Austin, Texas; and a granddaughter.

Worley 'Whitey' H. VanCamp
Worley 'Whitey' H. VanCamp, 83, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at Tampa General Hospital.
He was born in New Martinsville, W.Va., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Baltimore, Md. He was a retired pipe fitter and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 10209 honor guard and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Robert of Baltimore; a daughter, Katherine Poole of Clarkston, Mich.; a stepson, Robert Carpenter, of St. Petersburg; two stepdaughters, Linda Whiteman of Spring Hill and Cynthia Gunnett of Cadillac, Mich.; a sister, Helen Block of New Martinsville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ella K. Crockett, 81, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Tangier, Va., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Eastern Shore, Va. She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald L., Henry L., and Fred W., all of Virginia; a daughter, Eva L. Roberson, of Brooksville; a brother, Charlie Shore of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gerald Walter Brown, 76, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center, hospice unit.
He was born in Lansing, Mich., and moved to this area four years ago from Holt, Mich. He was a retired master technician for Chevrolet, HAM and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Stephen of Little Rock, Ark., David of Fowlerville, Mich., and Daniel of East Lansing, Mich.; two daughters, Catherine Ladouceur of Spring Hill, and Carol Huff of Des Moines, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Nelson W. Craig, 77, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Camden, N.J., and came here 17 years ago from Haddon Heights, N.H. He was Protestant by faith.
Nelson was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran and worked as a salesperson with the telephone company in Camden.
He is survived by his wife, Jean of Spring Hill; two sons, Robert N. of Haddon Heights; and Andrew of Spring Hill; two daughters, Linda DuPont of Barrington, N.J., and Elizabeth Powers of Spring Hill; and eight grandchildren.

Patrick Walsh, 31, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Flushing, N.Y., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a lawn maintenance worker and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his parents, Frank and Mary of Spring Hill; a brother, Frank; six sisters, Jean, Judy, Mary, Penny, Lynn and Diane; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Margaret Agnes Berry, 87, of Nobleton, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
She was born in Cokeville, Pa., and moved to this area 43 years ago from Blairsville, Pa. She was a retired newspaper carrier for The Tampa Tribune and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, William; a son, Robert Taubler of Clermont, Fla.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Alfonso F. Monteforte, 75, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Rosedale, N.Y. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a retired laborer for Brooklyn College, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Merle; two daughters, Diana Aurelio and Sandee Graham, both of Spring Hill; two sisters, Rita Gallagher of Brooklyn and Virginia Locco of Staten Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Barbara Adsit Markell, 83, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She moved to Florida 28 years ago. She was a former bookkeeper with the law office of Farrell, Martin and Barnell before retirement to Florida in 1973. She was Matron of honor of the Masonic Order of Eastern Star in 1944, an avid golfer, having won a number of trophies and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school class in earlier years at the church.
Survivors include her husband, John; and several nieces and nephews.

Georgianna Genovese, 73, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001 under the care of her family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
She was born in Westfield, Mass., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Medford, N.Y. She retired as an interior designer and owner of Georgianna Interiors, Patchogue, N.Y. She was a member of Daughters of The American Revolution, Westfield WomenÕs Club and Timber Pines Golf Associates.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel; her mother, Lauretta Pratt of Timber Pines; a daughter, Lynda Shea of Timber Pines; a son, Raymond of Russell, Mass.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Christ Demos, 76, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001 under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was a native of Peabody, Mass., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Chicago, Ill. He was a retired restaurant manager and a security guard for the Brookridge community.
Survivors include his wife, Helga; two daughters, Angelika Coghlan of Lakemoor, Ill., and Goody Zunker of Parker, Colo.; a sister, Mary Botes of LaGrange, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two nephews.

Dorothy Mae Reed, 85, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001 at her home.
She was a native of Old Fort, N.C., and moved to this area 16 years ago from St. Petersburg. She was a retired cosmetologist in the beauty care industry and a Methodist by faith.
She is survived by her husband, John.

Joseph C. Bradshaw, 69, of Brooksville, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Valdese, N.C., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Granite Falls, N.C. He worked in produce, was a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran, and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Anna L.; four sons, Walter Watts of Jacksonville, Allen Watts of Melbourne, Marvin Watts of Lincolnton, N.C., and John Watts of Denver, N.C.; six daughters, Joann Adams of Webster, Carolyn Fox of Tallahassee, Judy Hearn of Charlotte, N.C., Ann Bringuier of Cornelius, N.C., Donna Austin of Taylorsville, N.C., and Sandra Hoke of Hickory, N.C.; a brother, Hobert of North Carolina; two sisters, Joyce of Florida and Ruth of Ohio; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Isaac J. Tapp, 70, of Spring Hill, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Kay Jay, Ky., and had been a winter resident for 15 years coming from Clark, Pa. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Woodhaven Church of God, Masaryktown.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene; two sons, Marvin of Jefferson City, Tenn., and Jimmy of Illinois; two daughters, Rose and Catherine, both of Baltimore, Md.; a stepson, Ray Mackey of Deland; two stepdaughters, Leona Wiesel and Patricia Spriggs, both of Deland; two brothers, John of Atlanta, Ga., and Carl of Illinois; a sister, Katherine Delaney of Knoxville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Irene H. McPherson, 78, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at home.
She was born in Hainesport, N.J., and moved to this area 23 years ago. She was a graduate of Steelman's School of Business. She supervised the editorial composition section of the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Office, Washington, D.C., and was editor of the St. Theresa Catholic Church bulletin.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert; a daughter, Sister Ruth S.S.N.D.; and two brothers, Leon and Joseph Wondoloski, both of New Jersey.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra Smith of Spring Hill; two sons, Arthur Raupp of Highland, Mich., and Donald Jr. of Homosassa; a stepdaughter, Donna Ratliff of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Robert Mahoney of Wyandotte, Mich.; four sisters, Patricia Miller and Marge Buie, both of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Violet Miller of Spring Hill and Colleen Buie of Battle Creek, Mich.; and 12 grandchildren.

John Michael "Mike" McCarthy, 67, of Glen Lakes, Brooksville, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area four years ago from St. Louis, Mo. He served with the Chicago Police Department and was a retired general agent for John Hancock Financial Services, Inc., St. Louis. He was a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran and a member of Glen Lakes Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; three sons, John, Tim and Dan, all of Chicago; three daughters, Eileen Romano, Megan Hadley and Tara, all of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Holly Morton of Atlanta, Ga.; and 14 grandchildren.

Robert Ulbricht, 73, of High Point, Brooksville, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Montclair, N.J., and moved to this area four years ago from Edgewood, Ky. He was a retired distribution manager in the publishing industry, a U.S. Army sergeant, a member of Optimist International, Elks Lodge, Newport, Ky., and High Point Volunteer Fire Department, and a low net champion of the High Point Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; four sons, Robert of Newport, Charles and Thomas, both of Ft. Thomas, Ky., and James of Erlanger, Ky.; a daughter, Kathryn McIntosh of Ft. Thomas; a sister, Grace of Montclair; and eight grandchildren.

Anne Brunjes, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.

Survivors include her husband, Henry; two sons, Henry of Ridgefield, Conn., and Richard of East Rockaway, N.Y.; a daughter, Joan Kowack of Middlefield, Conn.; a brother, Thomas O'Connell of Rockport, Maine; a sister, Marie Fowler of Chullavista, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Caroline Sisk Bussard, 77, of Brooksville, died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at Heartland of Brooksville.

Survivors include two sons, Pat and Bill Pellem, both of Riverview, Fla.; two daughters, Darlene Johnson of Tampa and Suzanne Parrott of Brooksville; a sister, Marguerite Wilson of Brooksville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mary Arthur McQuown, 96, of Brooksville, died Monday, July 16, 2001 in Brooksville.
She was born in Clinton, S.C., and moved to this area nine years ago from Atlanta, Ga. She was an executive secretary for General Foods and a member of North Avenue Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.
There are no known survivors.

Survivors include her husband, James; and two sons, Thomas of Barnegat, N.Y., and Andrew of Spring Hill.

Samuel Castellano, 95, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was born in Marlboro, N.Y., and moved to this area 28 years ago from Highland, N.Y. He retired from farming and was the owner and operator of White Birch Tire Co., Highland, and Samuel Castellano Trucking, Hernando Beach, a lifetime member of the Spring Hill Lions Club, active member of Flotilla 5-8, Hernando Beach, and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Katheryn Delancy of Vero Beach; a son, John of Elizaville, N.Y.; a sister, Grace Palladino of Staten Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
