Anna Catherine Jernquist, 82, of Tarpon Springs, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was a native of Providence, R.I., and moved to this area a year ago from Warwick, R.I. She was a retired jewelry maker.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest E. of Houston, Texas, and Carl E. of Tarpon Springs; two daughters, Beverly A. Rochow of Brooksville and Janice J. Pinckey of North Providence, R.I.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Helen Marie Yurtinus, 87, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to this area eight years ago from Bedford, Ohio. She attended St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, John; a daughter, Margie of Spring Hill; a brother, John of Minden, Nev.; a sister, Dorothy Shisila of Maple Heights, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

Robert J. Kubiak, 77, of Spring Hill, died Monday, March 25, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area nine years ago from Chetek, Wis. He was a retired truck driver for Briggs Transportation, Chicago, Ill., a member of Teamster Local 705, a U.S. Merchant Marine, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, Robert B. of Wisconsin; five daughters, Debbie Johnson of Buckner, Ill., Vicki Floyd of Marseilles, Ill., Dawn Maggie and Cindy Rogers, both of Spring Hill, and Jackie Spence of Braidwood, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dolores Mae Lane, 37, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at her home.
She was born in West Palm Beach and moved to this area 15 years ago from Tampa. She was a homemaker, collected porcelain dolls, and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Scott; a son, Jesse of Spring Hill; a daughter, Amber of Spring Hill; her mother, Mary Sullivan of Spring Hill; four brothers, Richard Sullivan and Sam Sullivan, both of Tampa, Stephen Sullivan of Aiken, S.C., and Timothy Sullivan of West Palm Beach; and a sister, Theresa Sullivan of Spring Hill.

Albert "Al" George Thomas, 85, of Masaryktown, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Du Bois, Pa., and moved to this area 42 years ago from Orlando. He was a heavy equipment diesel mechanic for many years before his retirement; and in later years, he was a poultry and cattleman in the Masaryktown area. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and a U.S. Navy veteran, holding the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a life member of VFW Post 10209, and a member of the Polish Legion of Veterans Post 184, Elfers, Polish American Social Club of Pasco, and St. Mary Catholic Church, Masaryktown.
Survivors include his wife, Violet; two sons, Paul of Colorado Springs, Colo.., and Daniel of Puerto Rico; a daughter-in-law, Labell of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Richard Franklin Adams, 80, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to this area eight years ago from Dayton, Ohio. He was an industrial engineer for various companies including General Electric, and retired as program manager from the U.S. Air Force Cruise Missile Office, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He completed his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. at Purdue University, then continued in the academic environment with Professorships at Purdue University and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He was a Professor Emeritus, Purdue University, a Registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Safety Professional in Indiana and held 16 U.S. Patents. He was a member of the Ohio and Indiana Social Clubs of Spring Hill, a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and attended First United Methodist church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include two sons, Michael of Tacoma, Wash., and Keith of Simsbury, Conn.; a daughter, Kim Adams of Tempe, Ariz.; a sister, Lois Shewmaker of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandsons.

Clement J. Nowinski, 83, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001 at Hernando Hospice House.
He was born in Bayonne, N.J. and moved to this area 13 years ago from Rahway, N.J. He was a retired accountant for the New York Port Authority and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus 1146, Rahway, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Karen Ann Latawiec of Edison, N.J., and Michele N. Gioia of Darien, Conn.; a brother, Sigmund of Bayonne; a sister, Edna of Bayonne ; and one grandchild.

She was born in Peoria, Ill., and moved to this area 24 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. She was a charter member of the Oak Hill Volunteers, a member of the High Point Fire Ladies Auxiliary, High Point Golf Association, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leo 'Lee'; a daughter, Catherine F. Cullers of Greenville, Ohio; a sister, Rita Regan of Ft. Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Curtis A. Robinson, Sr., 61, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Newtown, Pa., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Port Richey. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of the TGIF League at Spring Hill Lanes.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, Curtis Jr. of Spring Hill; two sisters, Arla Burns of Evansville, Ind., and Wilma Nanning of Kingston, N.C.; two brothers, Thomas of Levittown, Pa., and William of Trenton, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Munich, Germany and moved to this area four years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a seamstress, a Catholic by faith and attended Our Lady of Fatima, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; two sons, Fredrick and Karl, both of Connecticut; a daughter, Julia Scozzari of Islip Terrace, N.Y.; two brothers, Fritz and Gust; a sister, Inga; and two grandchildren.

Doris Ann Koller, 70, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Shelby, Ohio, and moved to this area 19 years ago from Sanford. She was a homemaker, a lifetime member of VFW 4271 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Steven J. Bilka, Jr.; three daughters, Catherine Lynn Teale, Patricia Ann Lee and Janet Marie Boggs; and nine grandchildren.

Lenora P. Sumpter, 92, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Evergreen Woods Retirement Center.
She was born in Pine Level, and moved to this area 15 years ago from Tampa. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of First Baptist Church of Spring Hill.
She is survived by her niece, Doris Wever of Spring Hill.

Lorraine 'Lori' P. Schroeder, 56, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area from Glenview, Ill. She was a cook with ACH Management Nursing Care and was the former owner/operator of Schroeder's Dog Training School. She was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Linda Stafiej and Colleen Puntillo, both of Deltona; three nephews; and seven great-nephews.

James Stanley Jackson, 74, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Beverly, Mass., and moved to this area 25 years ago from St. Petersburg. He retired from the St. Petersburg Police Department after many years, was self-employed as a general contractor, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Janice of Masaryktown; a daughter, Judy of Masaryktown; three sisters, Dolly, Beverly and Gloria, all of Beverly; and a grandson, Peter Lyman Cote of Masaryktown

She was born in Ossining, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Hopewell Junction, N.Y. She retired from Readers Digest, Pleasantville, N.Y. after 25 years, was involved in both cancer and heart charities, and attended St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Frank McGraw of Spring Hill; a daughter, Beverly Intrieri of Spring Hill; a stepson, Robert of Highland, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Rae of Voluntown, Conn.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
