He was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from New York. He worked as an auto mechanic and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Edna and Howard Boer of Spring Hill; two brothers, Richard of Spring Hill and Hans Thomsen of New York City; a sister, Catherine M. Miller of Otisville, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.

John Henry 'Pops' Brady, 76, of Holiday, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001 at Northbay Hospital, New Port Richey.
He was born in Cairo, Ga., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Cairo. He was a dairy farmer in Tarpon Springs for many years before moving to Holiday.
Survivors include four sons, Leroy and Lamar, both of Spring Hill, and William of New Port Richey and Preston of Hudson; two daughters, Dorothy Smith of Tarpon Springs and Debra Vissering of Toluca, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Lenora A. Hinkley, 89, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at Eastbrooke Health Care Center, Brooksville.
She moved to this area 70 years ago from her native Holder, Fla. She was a library assistant for the Main Library, Brooksville, for 20 years, treasurer for the Humane Society of Hernando County, Brooksville, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy of Carlsbad, Calif., Ben of Brandon, Fla., and Tom of Brooksville; three daughters, Vivian Wolf, Margaret Clayton and Betty Fava, all of Brooksville; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

James Calvin Miller
James Calvin Miller, 73, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and moved to Tarpon Springs 43 years ago from Jackson, Mich., before moving to Weeki Wachee 14 years ago. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Tarpon Springs, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a Tarpon Springs volunteer fireman for many years, former member of Tarpon Lodge F&AM 112 and Elks Lodge BPOE, Tarpon Springs, and a member of American Legion Post 46 and First United Methodist Church, Tarpon Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Mona; a son, Jim of Holiday; two daughters, Wanda Alderman of Holiday and Ann Lane of Tarpon Springs; his mother, Viola "Peg" of Tarpon Springs; a brother, Gerald of Port Richey; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ronald W. Beck, 54, of Spring Hill, died Monday, May 7, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He moved to this area six years ago from his native Altoona, Pa. He was a district manager, U.S. Air Force veteran, co-founder of Project Winter Warm, Altoona, involved with Special Olympics activities, Altoona, and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.

She was a homemaker, an original member of the Spring Hill Women's Club, charter member of The Heather Golf Club, volunteer organist for assisted living facilities, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and its Choir.
