He was born in Lusk, Wyo., and moved to Wakegon, Ill., where he lived for 60 years before retiring as a plumbing contractor in Spring Hill. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran and was active in bocce ball, shuffle board, billiards and golf at Timber Pines.
