He was born in Hanover, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Raleigh, N.C. He was a retired engineer in the construction business, a 32 Degree Mason and member of Seneca River Lodge, Baldwinsville, N.Y., a Shriner and member of Amran Shrine, Raleigh, an Eagle Scout, attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Spring Hill, and was a member of its choir.
Survivors include his wife, Margery; a son, Gregory of Raleigh; three daughters, Gale White of Havertown, Pa., Anne Edwards of San Antonio, Texas and Abbie Forster of Lake Grove, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.

She was born in Moultrie, Ga., and lived in Brooksville for many years before moving to Citra. She was a chef for the Marion County School District and a Methodist by faith.
