She was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Spring Hill, a member and past High Priestess of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Egypt Court 76, Louisville, Elim Temple 76 Daughters of the Nile, Tampa, and a dual member of Nefertiti Court 84, New Port Richey.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence E.; two sons, Lawrence G. of Greencastle, Ind., and Richard T. of Louisville; three grandsons, Lawrence, William and Christopher; and a granddaughter, Lauren.

Gordon E. Cunningham, 82, of Ridge Manor, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 at Royal Oak Nursing Center, Dade City.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Ft. Wayne, Ind. He was a World War II combat veteran in the 163rd Battalion of the 38th Division, a member of VFW Post 04283, Dade City, and a Ridge Manor Community Center Home Owners Association officer.
Survivors include two sisters, Elsie Showalter of Ft. Wayne and Helen Noll of Ridge Manor; and a brother, James of Columbia City, Ind.

Cecil L. Massingill, 83, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 18, 2001 at the Hospice Unit in Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was born in Warm Springs, Ga., and lived most of his life in Hernando County. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a Baptist by faith.
There are no known survivors.

Albert Randall Volpe, 86, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 19, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Little Falls, N.Y., and was a winter resident of Spring Hill for 19 years. He was a superintendent for Little Falls Housing Authority, a member of American Legion and Elks Lodge, both of Little Falls, and attended Holy Family Parish Catholic Church, Little Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; three sons, David of Atlanta, Ga., Richard of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Francis of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Marilyn Smith of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Bremerton, Wash. He retired as a police sergeant for the Nassau County Police Department.

Robert I. Marr, 84, of Annapolis, Md., died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at home.
He was born in Malden, Mass., and was a 30-year resident of Annapolis. He attended Bridgeton Academy in Massachusetts. He served 27 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1968. During his military career, he commanded several destroyers including the USS PCBC 877, USS Laning APD-55, USS New DD-8 and USS Waldron DD-699, and also served as Squadron Commodore, Destroyer Division 182. He received over 11 military awards and citations, including the Navy Commendation Citation. After retiring from the military, he was a consultant for Tidewater Marine, Morgan City, La., for three years. He was manager of facilities and operations at Anne Arundel Community College for 10 years. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Retired Officers Association and the Naval Academy Sailing Association.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn G. Marr; two sons, Edward L. Marr II of Spring Hill and Robert I. Marr Jr. of Wildwood, Mo.; a daughter, Suzanne D. Skinner of Arnold, Md.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was born in Harlan County, Ky., he moved to this area 23 years ago from Redford, Mich. He retired after 23 years as a master mechanic of construction equipment from Intervale Steel Co. in Detroit, Mich., where he helped construct many segments of Interstate 75 from the Mackinaw Bridge in Michigan to Piqua, Ohio. He was also a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local #324, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a Protestant, and was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Brooksville where he had served as treasurer and deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a step-son, Dennis Powell of Troy, Ohio; three daughters, Peggy Hall of Warren, Mich., Jacqueline Dardy of Troy, Mich., and Patsy Bumgardner of Zeeland, Mich.; two step-daughters, Deborah McMahan and Azel Waters, both of Sidney, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Miller of Sidney, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.
