He was born in Bloomfield, N.J., and moved to this area seven years ago from Iselin, N.J. He retired from St. Barnabas Hospital, Orange, N.J. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge, both of New Jersey, a Korean War U.S. Army veteran, and a Catholic by faith.

She was born in Waverly Hall, Ga., and was a life-long resident of Brooksville. She owned and operated Happy Times Kindergarten in Brooksville for many years. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, and First Baptist Church, Brooksville, sustaining member of the Junior Service League, and former member of the Merry Makers Club, Brooksville.
Survivors include two sons, Buddy of Boone, N.C., and Harry of Brooksville; a daughter, Cissy Shaw of Brooksville; long-time companion, Bill Barnett of Brooksville; two granddaughters, Melissa and Jessica; and three grandsons, Truett Shaw, Brian and Sam.
