He was a native of Boston, Mass., and moved to this area 28 years ago. He was an accountant in the manufacturing field, a Shriner with Aleppa Temple, Wilmington, Mass., and a member of Masonic Order Dorchester Lodge, West Roxbury.
She is survived by her sister, Alice D. Weber of Quincy, Mass.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Middletown, N.Y. He was a retired home improvement salesman, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church.

Jeanne Seymour Mylrea, 77, of Brooksville, died Sunday, March 18, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Danbury, Conn., and moved to this area 43 years ago. She was a schoolteacher in Connecticut and taught first grade at Brooksville primary school for 23 years and the Methodist School Center for eight years. She was an active member of Brooksville Music Club, Brooksville Garden Club, Eastern Star (past Worthy Matron), United Methodist Women (past district treasurer), United Methodist Women's Circle (Women Serving God) and First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include two sons, Philip II and Craig, both of Brooksville; a daughter, Sue Goodman of Land O'Lakes; six grandchildren, Douglas, Cyndi, David, Sgt. Benjamin, Christina and Andrea Goodman; a great-grandson, Tyler James; two nephews; and four nieces.

Lyman S. 'Slim' Merrill, 74, of Cleveland, Wis., died Friday, March 16, 2001 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
He was born in Biddeford, Maine, and was a winter resident of Spring Hill. He owned an automobile repair business in Waterford, Conn. for many years and was employed at Electric Boat, Groton, Conn. before retiring 13 years ago. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a 32nd Degree member of East Lyme Masonic Lodge, life member of the VFW, Spring Hill, a chaplain's aide for many years at Spring Hill Regional Hospital, and attended South Lyme Chapel, Old Lyme, Conn., and First Christian Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Diane Zimmer and Donna Kross of Sheboygan, Wis.; a son, Richard of Nashua, N.H.; three sisters, Rosalie Rowen of Kittery, Maine, Natalie Parmley of Eliot, Maine and Verna Burbank of Davenport; three grandchildren, David Knox, Bryan Kross and Jennifer; and a great-granddaughter, Rachel Marie Knox.

William F. Lange Jr., 65, of Highpoint in Brooksville, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Detroit, Mich., he was a winter resident of this area from East Tawas, Mich. He was a retired regional director for the United Paper Workers Union and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife, Carolee; a son, Randy S. and a daughter, Kimberly A. He was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, and moved to this area nine years ago from New York. He was a cook, enjoyed woodworking and gardening, and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Donald C. "Bear" Berndt, 69, of Nobleton, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center.
He was born in Logansport, Ind., and moved to this area 31 years ago from Lutz. He was a block mason and past owner of Berndt Masonary in Lutz and Brooksville, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of American Legion Post #0060 in Logansport, Ind., and was Roman Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Opal E. or Nobleton; four sons, Steve, Greg, and Donald P. of Tampa and Don Carr of Plant City; four daughters, Anita Duckworth of Tampa, Dolly Larnar of Zephyrhills, Donna Rife of Plant City, and Darlene Carr of Nobleton; six brothers; one sister; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Florida National Cemetary in Bushnell with American Legion Post #10209 officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice in his memory.

Maureen Ann "Mo" Florkiewicz, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at her.
She was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to Spring Hill seven years ago from Spring Lake Heights, N.J. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini, an executive secretary for "Raycom" in N.J., and enjoyed boating in the Gulf of Mexico.
She is survived by her two sisters: Joan Kurth of Spring Hill and Geraldine Barros of North Carolina.

Natalie M. GaNun, 94, of Hernando Beach, died on Friday, March 19, 2004 at the Forest Glen Lodge, ALF in New Port Richey. She was born in Newburgh, N.Y. and came to this area five years ago from Massapequa Park, N.Y.
She was a Catholic by faith and a homemaker. She attedned the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
She is survived by her two sons: James V. GaNun Jr. of Hernando Beach, Joseph GaNun of Marleton, N.J.; her two daughters: Judith Colton and Jane Bender both of Southold, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was a welder, truck driver, builder, entrepreneur, master craftsman and diesel mechanic. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church.

He was a lifetime violinist and one of the founders of the Spring Hill Symphony Orchestra. He was Baptist by faith and a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Spring Hill.

She on the medical board of Ivy Tech University, Lawrenceburg, Ind., and on the board of the Hill Forest Historical Society, Aurora, Ind. She was president of the High Point Mobile Patrol, a member of the High Point Social Club, Travel Club, Fire Ladies and a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa.
