Elizabeth C. Pennington, 78, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007. She was born in Miami and moved to this area 25 years ago.
Mrs. Pennington was an accountant for the State Department of Corrections, and a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge and the VFW.

John William Abbey, 60, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Ann Arbor, Mich., and moved to this area recently from Tampa.
Mr. Abbey was a master electrician, Vietnam War U.S. Navy veteran, a member of International Association of Electrical Inspectors, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his father, Jack M. Abbey, and his mother, Annette Abbey, both of Brooksville; a daughter, Elizabeth Abbey of Houston, Texas; a brother, James Abbey of Northville, Mich.; and a sister, Barbara Joy Wilson of Belleview.

Evelyn M. Bonnell, 88, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at her home. She was born in Elmira, N.Y., and moved to this area two years ago from Brooksville.

Amelia E. Stevens, 89, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 in Spring Hill. She was born in Milo, Maine, and moved to this area 30 years ago from Hingham, Mass.
Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker, a National Master Bridge player, and a former member of the Eastern Star.

William Curtis Gregory, 49, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Brooksville.

Alice M. Silvers, 85, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson. She was born in Village of Gilbert, Minn., and moved to this area 62 years ago from Minnesota.
Mrs. Silvers was a purchasing agent for Alton Box Company and attended Grace Tabernacle Church.

Mrs. Schelling was a beautician and homemaker, past Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, Cub Scout Leader, and was a Catholic by faith.

William Thomas Varley, 76, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at his home. He was born in Woodbury, N.J., and moved to this area 36 years ago from Tampa.
Mr. Varley was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service, having served in the Korean conflict and Vietnam War.

Mrs. Landino was a Honeybee for Island X-6 Seabees and was a Catholic by faith.

John Alexander Pron, 69, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Scranton, Pa., and moved to this area 19 years ago.
Mr. Pron retired after 28 years with the U.S. Government as an electronic technician. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Catholic by faith.

Kenneth F. “Ken” Bosse, 79, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at his home. He was born in Old Town, Maine, and moved to the area 20 years ago from South Meriden, Conn.
Mr. Bosse retired 24 years ago from General Motors. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Ronald R. Zane, 68, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He was born in Chicago and moved here three years ago from Hanover Park, Ill.
Mr. Zane served in the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years as a systems administrator for the U.S. Social Security Administration. He was a Roman Catholic.

Constance V. Mainiero, 93, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice House, Cortez Boulevard, Spring Hill. She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Stratford, Conn.
Mrs. Mainiero was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. She was co-founder of A Chance to Dance and taught line dancing at the Spring Hill Enrichment Center.
Survivors include her sister, Joan Melita; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Reichling was a retired manager for the New York Telephone Company, a volunteer for Oak Hill Hospital, and a member of the High Point Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, High Point Golf Club, Telephone Pioneers of Spring Hill and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Dion D. Stubbs, 30, of Brooksville, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. He moved to this area 11 years ago from his native Nassau, Bahamas.
Mr. Stubbs was a technician for Verizon, a Petty Officer for the Navy Reserves, earned a bachelor’s degree in technical engineering, a master’s in telecommunications, a CCNA certificate and was a Baptist by faith.

She was born in Perry and moved to this area 24 years ago. She was a graduate of Hernando High School and was a licensed hairdresser for many years. She was a lifetime member of YWCA, Macon, Ga., a member of The Lighthouse for the Blind, Hernando County, and an active member of First Baptist Church, Hernando Beach.
