Evelyn M. Lugiewicz, 83, of High Point, Brooksville died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She moved to this area 43 years ago from her native Saginaw, Mich. She was a retired legal secretary, a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 76, Amaranth Past Royal Matron, and a member of Brooksville WomanÕs Club and Mariner United Methodist Church, where she was active in all church activities.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Edward of Brooksville and Herbert Workman of Minneapolis, Minn.; two daughters, Lana Huntwork of Tampa and Lana Marie Smith of Minnesota; two sisters, Genevieve M. Herbert of Royal Oak, Mich., and Helen V. Dusek of Saginaw; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Raymond F. Maciejewski, 72, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Pennsauken, N.J. He was an auto mechanic for the Mobil Oil repair centers in New Jersey and co-owner of L. Gerald Smith Landscaping & Floral Company, New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a son, Gar of Spring Hill; and a grandson, Christopher Schoen of Spring Hill.

Jeanne Naggo, 79, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Brooksville.
She moved to this area 22 years ago from her native
Chicago, Ill.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Maria "Mary" Ciurciu, 81, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at Brooksville Health Care Center, Hospice Unit.
She was a native of Hackensack, N.J., and moved to this area recently. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assissi, Hackensack.
Survivors include two daughters, Violet M. Weeks and Judith M. Mauriello, both of Spring Hill; two brothers, Salvatore Baeli of Ridgefield Park, N.J. and Frank of Brick, N.J.; two sisters, Phyllis Hess of Twin Peaks, Calif., and Emma of Long Branch, N.J.; two grandchildren, Anthony Dinallo of Westminster, Md., and Maria Dinallo of Safety Harbor; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Maria Dinallo of Westminster.

Harold M. Klebes, 90, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He moved to this area 23 years ago from his native Erie, Pa. He was a retired general sales manager for American Sterilizer Corp., past president of Brooksville Golf & Country Club and Lake Shore Country Club, Erie, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include a son, Harold M., Jr. of Erie; two daughters, Janet Vasquez of Long Island, N.Y., and Jeanne Kibler of South Riding, Va.; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Robert L. Silvernail, 80, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 22, 2002.
He was born in Lansing, Mich., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Grand Rapids, Mich. He was employed by Doehler Jarvis in Michigan for 30 years and was a self-employed builder for Silvernail Homes, Spring Hill. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, serving as an LST Pilot aboard the LST886 in the Pacific during World War II, and was a member of the U.S. LST Association, VFW Post 10209, and Calvary Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; a son, Daniel of Bradenton; a daughter, Debbie Pepin of Spring Hill; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

James Jacob Heuser, 42, of Hernando Beach, died Saturday, June 22, 2002 at his home.

Frederick D. Waterman, 89, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was a native of Epsom, England, and moved to this area 22 years ago from Braintree, Mass. He was a retired plumbing sales representative for F.W. Webb, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of Elks Lodge 2582, VFW Post 10209, DAV Cada Haddon 67, Moose Lodge 521, Spring Hill, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
He is survived by his wife, June.

Ruth W. Tappen, 88, of Spring Hill, died Friday, June 21, 2002 at Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Brooksville.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Florham Park, N.J. She was a retired school lunch room supervisor for Brooklake Elementary School, Florham Park, for many years, a Sunday School teacher at the Brooklake Chapel, Florham Park, a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring Hill, Grace Presbyterian Church Women's Association, where she was a Circle Leader, Spring Hill Music Club, and Women's Association, Florham, where she was voted Woman of the Year in 1962.
Survivors include her son, David W. of Florham Park; a grandson, Brian D. of Florham Park; two granddaughters, Rebecca L. Tate of Maplewood, N.J., and Debra M. Tappen of Florham Park; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella L. Tate of Maplewood.

Minerva C. Frey, 93, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Forest Oaks Care Center, Spring Hill.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Joan V. of Weeki Wachee; four grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

June Marie Weaver, 74, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Chicago Heights, Ill., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Hazel Crest, Ill. She was a genealogist, a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 398 and Hazel Crest Community United Methodist Church, and attended Spring Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne M. Dano; and two grandchildren.

Antoinette C. "Toni" Aniello, 86, of Hudson, died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area eight years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She worked as a seamstress at Roxanne Swimwear and was a member of East Lake Landings Swim Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Fay Iorio and Vicki Voit of Ormond Beach; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ruby Atwell Jenkins Mitchell Gruber, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Florence, Ala., and moved to this area 21 years ago from Richmond, Va. She was a retired administrative secretary for the Veterans Administration Hospital, a U.S. Army WAC, a member of Sunshine Chapter 79 WAC Veterans Association, American Legion Post 99 and 186, Brooksville, VFW Post 10209 Auxiliary, NARFE, Spring Hill, and Women's Overseas Service League, and founder and past president of Chapter 97 WAC Veterans Association and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a son, William S. Mitchell of Cocoa, Fla.; a daughter, Joyce Hand of Peachtree City, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Pamela E. of Columbus, Ohio; two grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

John J. Farrell, 71, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Astoria, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Garden City Park, N.Y. He was a retired printer, a U.S. Marines veteran, and a member of American Legion 1836, Woodside, N.Y., and 40/8 National Box Car Association, Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne; a son, Christopher of Perry, Fla.; and a grandson, Michael of Ocala, Fla.

John S. Pavlus, 83, of High Point, Brooksville, died Friday, June 21, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Skaneateles, N.Y., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Syracuse, N.Y. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office, Syracuse, for 30 years, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a charter member of Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; two sons, David of Skaneateles and Donald of Liverpool, N.Y.; a brother, William of Skaneateles; two sisters, Suzanne Fenton and Ann, both of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Stanley J. Rabinowitz, 80, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to this area eight years ago from there. He was a retired plumbing contractor; a member of the Knights of Pythias Crossbay Utopia #400; and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; two sons, Allen of Atlanta, Ga. and Martin of Cleveland, Ohio; a daughter, Susan Oliveira of Spring Hill; a brother, Seymour of California; a sister, Helen Mazzola of Ft. Lauderdale; and five grandchildren, Michael Puma, Elizabeth Oliveira, Joseph, Miriam and Aaron.

Kenneth S. Paulson, 81, of Brookridge in Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at the Brooksville Hospice Unit. Born in Corry, Pa., he moved to this area 16 years ago from Johnstown, Pa. He was a retired electrical plant manager; a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; a retired major of the Air Force Reserve; a member of the Ex-POW Association and the DAV; a life member of the Elks Lodge 176; and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, David of Sacramento, Calif., Thomas of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Jeffrey of Baltimore, Md.; three daughters, Deanna Jones of Bethlehem, Pa., Teresa McKee of Charleston, S.C. and Janice Berglund of Wyomissing, Pa.; a brother, Cassius of Tallahassee; 12 grandchidren and one great-granddaughter. David John Glefke, 82, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Regional Medical Center, Bayonet Point. Born in Royal Oak, Mich., he moved to this area seven years ago from Delray Beach. He was a retired auto salesman and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife, June; two sons, David Lawrence and Michael Clyde; and three grandsons. Lillian Zurek, 92, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 10 years ago from River Grove, Ill. She was a homemaker, a Polish National Catholic and a member of All Saints Cathedral in Rosemont, Ill.
Survivors include her son, Robert; her daughter, Darlene Stella Diederich of Spring Hill; a brother, Leon Matecki of Riverside, Ill.; and two sisters, Victoria Mendyk of Schaumburg, Ill., and Dolores Koziol of Chicago; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Donald R. Haver, 87, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville. He was born in Ohio City, Ohio and came here 30 years ago from Fort Wayne, Ind. He was Catholic by faith and was a member of the Moose, Masons, Shriners and DAV Chapter #67. He was also a U.S. World War II Army Air Corps veteran who served as a staff sergeant.
Mr. Haver is survived by his wife of 57 years, Yvette M. of Spring Hill; a son, Ron A. of Fort Wayne; daughters, Lori Ann Brown and Kathryn Graziano, both of Spring Hill; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Richard W. Kaus, 62, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. and came here four years ago from Berlin Center, Ohio. He was a Catholic by faith and a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed gardening, was a member of SNPJ and the Mahoning Valley Polka Button Box Club.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Spring Hill; sons, Gregory Kaus of Seville, Ohio; Richard Kaus Jr., of Bealeton, Va.; daughters Theresa Flais of Columbus, Ohio; Jennifer Butcher of Austintown, Ohio; mother, Josephine Latin of Spring Hill; a sister, Kathy Brunner of Pittsburgh; a brother, Ronald Latin of Spring Hill; and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Albert; a daughter, Linda Guadagnolo of Tampa; a son, Albert, Jr. of Lakeland; a sister, Midge Kiele of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Donald Talbot Snoots Sr., 69, of Brooksville, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 at his home. Born in Petersville, Md. He retired after 13 years as a small engine technician from Sears and worked for Delphey's Sport's Store both in Frederick, Md. He owned D&D Small Engine Repair with his sons and was an avid musician, playing with Patsy Cline, Jimmy Dean and Roy Clark.
Survivors include his sons, Donald T. Snoots, Jr. of Frederick and Daniel W. Snoots of Brooksville; a daughter, Debbie L. Hill of Frederick; a brother, Robert of Frederick; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

Margarett R. Church, 85, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003 at Evergreen Woods Nursing Home in Spring Hill.
Born in Detroit, Church was a cook and a member of Spring Hill First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include brother, Ralph Gartrell of Warren, Mich.; a niece, Jeanne V. Hall of Brooksville.

William Michael Herting, 68, of Mount Vernon, Me, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003 at the Hospice Care Center of Brooksville.
Born in Milford, Conn., he was a winter resident of Brooksville for 30 years. Mt. Herting was an automobile mechanic, a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include: wife, Elizabeth Herting of Brooksville.
