She was a member of The King Episcopal Church for 65 years, Order of the Eastern Star for 64 years, Order of the White Shrine, Sapphire Temple-Daughter of the Nile, and the Red Cross Grey Ladies. She was Past Matron for The Order of the Eastern Star in Virginia City, Mont., and Past Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls.

Mr. Donovan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and is a retiree of AT&T. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, New York Council and a 26 year member of the Lake View, N.Y. Volunteer Fire Association, serving as fire district commissioner for 18 years.
