She moved to this area 16 years ago from her native Cincinnati, Ohio. She was retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, a member of the High Point Golf Club & Ladies Golf, league volunteer at Oak Hill Hospital for seven years, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Jr.; two sons, Ronald of San Diego, Calif., and Daniel of Austria; a daughter, Dr. Shoshana Zimmerman of Los Altos, Calif.; a sister, Marjorie Bechtol of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Albert Martincic, 87, of Sarasota, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002.
He was born in Rankin, Pa., and moved to Sarasota 17 years ago from Braddock, Pa. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Company, Rankin, after 40 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

She was a homemaker, held office in the Christian Mothers and Shawano Women's Club, was an avid bridge player, followed professional football, enjoyed crossword puzzles and word jumbles, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
