She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Bellrose, N.Y. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Hugo "Jack"; three sons, Jack of Mobile, Ala., Robert of New Port Richey, and Dennis of Tampa; a daughter, Antoinette Plogstedt of Orlando; four brothers, Walter Wozny of Brooklyn, John Wozny of Paramus, N.J., Joe Wozny of Long Island, N.Y., and Anthony Wozny; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was born in Brooksville and was a lifelong resident. She was retired from the Hernando County School District after teaching more than 39 years and was a member of Bethlehem Progressive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Wright Cason of Brooksville; a brother, Fred Larry of Brooksville; a sister, Margaret L. Brown of Spring Hill; and a granddaughter, Keisha E. Cason of Brooksville.

Wallace Lorenzo Reese, 35, of Brooksville, died Monday, July 9, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Brooksville and was a lifelong resident. He was a student at ARC Nature Coast School, Brooksville.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Sims of Brooksville; five brothers, Rev. Wilbur Bush, Thomas Floyd Sims, Minister Nathaniel Sims and Saul Paul Jr., all of Brooksville, and Jerome Griffin of Orlando; and four sisters, Isabel Harris, Johnnie Ruth Griffin, Dr. Sharon Vickers and Margaret, all of Brooksville.

Randall A. Balmer, 37, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Rich Square, N.C., and moved to this area five years ago from Paterson, N.J. He was a member of Ebenezer M.B. Church, where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, De-De; a daughter, Quanisha N. of Brooksville; his parents, Randolph and Mary; a brother, Glenn Whitaker; and a sister, Lelia.

Sheila A. Budowski, 46, of Brooksville, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003.

Survivors include her sister, Neva Finley of Brooksville; and a niece, Tracy Hood of Brooksville.

Rabon L. Smith, 82, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 16, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Rome, Ga., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Bradenton, Fla. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill, VFW Post 8681, Hudson, and DAV, Spring Hill, and a lifetime member of American Legion, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Rabon N. of Enterprise, Ala.; a daughter, Winona L. Wilson of Spring Hill; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Alex of Ridge Manor; a daughter, Francesca Aloi of Thurmont, Md.; a brother, George Nerolich of Pittsburgh; a sister, Margaret Quattro of Bridgeville, Pa.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Andrew G. York Jr., 87, of High Point, Brooksville, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was a native of Bridgeport, Conn., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Torrington, Conn. He was a retired foreman for Joseph A. Russo Oil Company, a longtime member and past president of Torrington Fraternal Order of Eagles, a U.S. National Guard veteran, and a member of Weeki Wachee Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Greenleaf of Brooksville; two sons, Andrew G. III of Clearwater and Jim of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; a brother, John of Inverness; and two grandchildren.

Harold R. Royce, 81, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Halls Mills, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Jeffersonville, N.Y. He was retired from the Asphalt Distributors Corp., Liberty, N.Y., a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Battle of the Bulge, and a member of Kenoza Lake Fire Department and served as a commissioner of the fire district, a member of the Iroquois Hunting and Fishing Club, Masonic Lodge 521 for 50 years and a committeeman for 4-H, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and Boy Scouts of America, Troop No. 115.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; a son, Sidney of Cochecton, N.Y.; a daughter, Leah Mae Waldron of Jeffersonville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Eudora Verrillo, 81, of High Point, Brooksville, died Saturday, March 16, 2002 at the Atria.
She was a native of Westbrook, Minn., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Mokena, Ill. She was a keypunch operator for the Federal Reserve Bank.
She is survived by her cousin, Irene VanNess of Brooksville.

Louise J. Ligman, 73, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert; a son, Paul of Spring Hill; a daughter, Linda Kemerer of Ormond Beach; and five grandchildren.

Walter John Fredericks Sr., 85, of Brooksville, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Little Falls, N.J. He retired from the telephone industry, was a member of Mariner United Methodist Church and Little Falls United Methodist, New Jersey, Past Master of Masonic Lodge, Little Falls, and was active in Shriners and Masons in Hernando County.
Survivors include two sons; Walter John Jr. of Durango, Colo., and Kenneth J. of Poughkeepside, N.Y.; a brother; Robert of Maplewood, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Joseph Kirschen, 84, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Allentown, Pa., and moved to Florida 14 years ago from Flushing, N.Y. He was the owner of an appliance repair shop, a World War II veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 186, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife Ada; two daughters, Linda McLoon of Roseville, Minn., and Kathie Jackson of Elliot City, Md.; and four grandchildren.

Richard L. Nale, 82, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., and moved to this area four years ago from Lehigh Acres, Fla. He was a retired steel mill foreman, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, and a member of Lehigh Acres Lions Club and First United Methodist Church, Lehigh Acres.
Survivors include his wife, Madelyn; two sons, Richard W. "Bill" and Kenneth L., both of Weirton, W.Va.; a daughter, Tami Wiedler of Spring Hill; his father, David S. of Clarksburg; three brothers, John of Colliers, W.Va., Robert of Paden City, W.Va., and Larry of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; three sisters, Ruth Hurley of Clarksburg, Jo Lynch of Waycross, Ga., and Katie Byrd of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Gibson of Weeki Wachee.

Wayne Joseph Shirlaw, 47, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Hampstead, Long Island, N.Y., and moved to this area a year ago from Coram, Long Island. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a computer technician for Comp USA in Clearwater and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Josephine Shirlaw of Hernando Beach; and two brothers, Frank and William Shirlaw, both of Long Island.

Elinor L. Baxter, 78, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 in Brooksville.
She was born in Waverly, N.Y., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Lowman, N.Y.
Survivors include two sons, James F. Smith of New York and John S. Smith of Nevada; four daughters, Candace Hauryski of Spring Hill, Merrie L. Bizilia, Velyn D. Smith and Verna Morley, all of Pennsylvania; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

William H. "Dusty" Rhodes, 83, of Spring Hill, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Clawson, Mich., and moved to this area 44 years ago from Fort Story, Va. He was a retired chief engineer for the U.S. Army and was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a World War II veteran, a member of Elks Lodge 2582, Moose Lodge 521, American Legion Post 186 and Chesapeake Bay Club, and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; three daughters, Juanita Burgett of Brooksville, Barbara Ann Weadon of Crown Point, Ind., and Lorraine Weaver of Homestead; a stepson, David Manino of Youdaka Air Force Base, Japan; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
