She was born in Worcester, Mass., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Concord, Mass. She worked for Howard Johnson's for 20 years as a hostess and trainer for many of the Massachusetts restaurants, and was an Episcopalian by faith.
Survivors include her husband, James C.; a daughter, Gail Ellen Johnson of Jacksonville; a sister, Shirley Irene Eggleton of Weeki Wachee; and a granddaughter.
