He was the creator of "The Music of Your Life" Radio Network, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran as a bombardier navigator, a member of AM Federation of Musicians Local 802 and ASCAP, nominated for Academy Award in 1967 for scoring "Stop the World I Want to Get Off", and received a Grammy in 1976 for Best Spoken Word, "Give 'em Hell Harry."
