She was born in Jamaica, West Indies, and moved to this area five years ago from New York City, N.Y.
Survivors include a son, Louis Smith of New York City; a daughter, Florence Williams of Brooksville; numerous brothers and sisters; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; two sons, Joseph of Columbus, Ohio, and David of West Islip, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Joseph Charles Gagne, 78, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001 at Bayonet Point Hospital, Hudson.
He was born in Hyde Park, Mass., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Braintree, Mass. He was a retired police lieutenant, World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of VFW Post 10209 and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Rita; two sons, Stephen of Spring Hill and Kenneth of Wauwatosa, Wis.; five daughters, Marcia Donovan of Pembroke, Mass., Danielle of Swansea, Mass., and Susan Dean, Cheryl Ackles and Charlene O'Donnell, all of Spring Hill; five sisters, Leonore Frazier of Margate, Fla., Rose Cannon of Braintree, Jeanne Hannon of Bonita Springs, Fla., Dolores Bigwood of Weymouth, Mass., and Irene Young of Valrico, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Donald Whittington Boddy, 83, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Glen Ridge, N.J. He was a retired draftsman for Bell Telephone and a Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Louise.

John Yaskulski IV, 33, of Los Angeles, Calif., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001 at home.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., and lived in Glen Burnie, Md., for 25 years before moving to California.
Survivors include his father, John 'Jack' III and stepmother, Lisa of Spring Hill; and a half-sister, Jane Trapp of Federalsburg, Md.

Aurelie LaMontagne, 89, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001 at her home.
She was born in River Rouge, Mich., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Dearborn, Mich. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Henry of Castleberry, Fla.; a daughter, Rose Marie Sherry of Spring Hill; a sister, Theresa Chenviert of River Rouge; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; a daughter, Patricia of Spring Hill; a brother, Edward of Madison, Wis.; and eight grandchildren.

Horst Thiele, 63, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.

He was a retired butcher and retail store owner in both Islip and Hudson, Fla., a member of American Legion Post 186, Eagles 40/8, past president of the Kiwanis Club, Bayshore, Long Island, two-time past commander of American Legion Post 411, Islip, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include Helga of Spring Hill; two sons, David and Frank; a sister, Marga Spangenberg of Germany; and four grandchildren.

Jeanie 'Tooter' Sampson, 46, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001 at Heartland of Brooksville.
She was born in Louisville, Ky., and moved to this area a year ago from Lakeland. She was a CNA for 33 years, working in nursing homes in the Tampa area and in Kentucky, a member of Kathleen Evangelical Chapel, Lakeland, and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; a daughter, Cicilia of Brooksville; a son, Clayton of Brooksville; three sisters, Theresa Niccum of Jeffersonville, Ind., Artina Paris of Louisville, and Jacqueline Hall of Lakeland; two brothers, Frank George of Tampa and Joe George of Louisville.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Singman of Spring Hill; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Frederick W. Freeman, 66, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Norfolk, Va., and moved to this area from the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area four years ago. He was a retired deputy with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department, Largo, after 17 years of service, was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Fraternity Order of Police and Sertoma, St. Petersburg, and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Frederick II of Oldsmar, Fla.; a daughter, Lynda Schlesinger of Pinellas Park; a brother, Owen of Dover Plaines, N.Y.; and three grandsons.

She was a volunteer for the Head Start Program, Plainfield, N.J., a librarian for the Plainfield Library, a volunteer tour guide for the Charleston, S.C., Historical Preservation Society, attended Douglas College, New Brunswick, N.J., and a member of the Hernando Beach Property Owners Association.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie L. of Aripeka; and a son-in-law, Dan Stack of Aripeka.

James B. Rodgers, 77, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 17 years ago. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad, was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion and NARVRE in Illinois, and attended Forest Oaks Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Rodgers; a daughter, Janice L. Sobba of Spring Hill; two sons, Gregory S. Hansen and Michael T. Hansen, both of Zephryhills, and Brian K. Hansen of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

John Thomas Albach, 69, of Evergreen Woods, Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from Bayside, N.Y. He retired from the City of New York as a supervisor in the sanitation department, was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran, and a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Maranville of Spring Hill.

She was born in Walhalla and lived in Brooksville for many years before moving back to Walhalla. She was a secretary for John Kidd Plumbing, Brooksville, and was a member of College Street Baptist Church, Walhalla.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Brucke of Walhalla; a sister, Jeanette Stroud of Walhalla; and two grandsons.
