Arnold Severinghaus, 89, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003 at Tangerine Cove.
He was born in St. Louis, Mo. He was a carpenter until retirement, a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy as a Carpenter's Mate First Class for four years, and was a lifetime member and past member of the South Haven VFW Post in Michigan.
Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Slentz and Norma Sherwood, both of Brooksville, and Dorothy Morehead of South Haven, Mich.; and two brothers, Gerald Severinghaus and Stanley Severinghaus, both of Brooksville.

Ann Pigulski, 86, of Spring Hill and Hampton Bay, N.Y., died Monday, April 12, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area six months ago from Hampton Bay, Long Island, New York. She was employed as a sales clerk with the A&P Grocery Store in Queens, N.Y.
Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Jones of Spring Hill and Genevieve Pelgrim of Mission Viego, Calif.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Barbara Lee Griffith, 81, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Miami. She retired from the Miami-Dade Public School System after working as an elementary school librarian for many years. She was active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and in the resident association at Timber Pines.
Survivors include three sons, Richard DeBaere of Fort Lauderdale, Timothy DeBaere of Glen Spey, N.Y., and Craig Griffith of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Dorothy C. Ceglia, 75, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Greenpoint, N.Y., and moved to this area 10 years ago from New York. She was a primary education tutor who majored in psychology. She was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, Edward of New York; a daughter, Catherine Cimino of Spring Hill; and four grandchildren.

Rosa Morales, 80, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 in New Jersey.
She was a native of Juncos, Puerto and a resident of this area for the past 10 years coming from the Bronx, N.Y.
She was a retired seamstress, a volunteer with Oak Hill Enrichment Center, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, John Morales of Palisades Park, N.J.; a daughter, Rose Duenninger of Spring Hill; a brother, Regino Pena of Spring Hill; two sisters, Carmen Cay of Delaware, and Lucia Pena of Puerto Rico; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Mariner Blvd., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Father Raymond Lettre as celebrant. Interment will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.

Charles W. Reeder, 81, of Brooksville, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003 at Heartland of Brooksville.
He was born in Bowling Green, Ky., and moved to this area 49 years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, worked as an electrical power lineman for 40 years, was a member of IBEW Electrical Union of Tampa, and was Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Brooksville; a son, Tommy Reeder of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Vina Riley of Miami, Fla.; four brothers, three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Martin Clinton "Clint" Davis, Jr., 66, of Lakeland, formerly of Brooksville, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.
He was born in Plant City and moved to Lakeland 33 years ago from Brooksville.
He was a retired parts manager for the Ford dealerships of Brooksville and Plant City. After retiring, he owned and operated Smokey Joe's Barbecue in Plant City. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son, Guy Davis of Alachua, Fla.; a daughter, Tina Parrish of Mulberry, Fla.; a sister, Leauna Morton of Brooksville; and three grandchildren, Kacie Davis of Alachua, Fla. and Kyle and Meagan Parrish of Mulberry, Fla.

Ruth I. Mayberry, 80, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center of Brooksville.
She was born in Otis, Mass., and moved to this area six years ago from Westfield, Mass. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Mayberry, William Mayberry, and Michael Mayberry, all of Spring Hill, and David Mayberry of Palmer, Mass.; daughters Debbie Rivera of Westfield, Mass. and Judith Carmen of Pennsylvania; sister Barbara Monczska of Southwick, Mass.; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Lucian R. "Luke" Kinner, 80, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at his home.
He was born in Buchanan, Ky. and moved to this area 38 years ago from Miami, Fla. He was a retired sales manager and was employed by Register Chevrolet for over 20 years. He was a member of the Kentucky Colonels, Society of Sales Executives, and the First United Methodist Church of Brooksville.
Survivors include his sons, Larry Kinner of Brooksville and Ron Kinner of Melbourne, Fla.; step-sons Michael Westbrook of Lakeland and Paul Westbrook; brother Billy Gene Kinner of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Elura M. Vogel, 83, of Spring Hill, died Monday, July 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Muir, Pa., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Hershey, Pa. She was a retired computer cooperator for the U.S. Air Force, Middletown, Pa., for 17 years and was a member of NARFE.
Survivors include her son, Terry of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; a brother, Arlington "Pinky" Kessler of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Laura Knarr, Dorothy Banning and Viola Redcay, all of Pennsylvania.

Roseann Johnson, 55, of Spring Hill, died Monday, July 29, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Long Island, N.Y., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Long Island. She was a customer service manager at Wal-Mart Supercenter, Brooksville, and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth A.; two daughters, Danielle Spencer and Dorothy Varhaul, both of Spring Hill; two stepdaughters, Barbara of Farmingville, Long Island, and Laura of East Islip, Long Island; and two grandchildren.

He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and moved to this area six years ago from Bolivar, Mo. He was a retired U.S. Navy decorated VietnamWar veteran and a member of the VFW, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Brian G. of Maumelle, Ark., and Jerome H. and Darryl K., both of Mena, Ark.; a brother, Steven M. of Council Bluffs; a sister, Myra F. of Bolivar; his mother, Iola M. of Council Bluffs; and five grandchildren.

Chester Glenn Baumgartner Jr., 78, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from Levittown, N.Y. He retired as Director of Employee Services from Grumman. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Elks and Moose lodges, and VFW, and a former officer with the Grumman Retiree Club.
Survivors include his wife, Bibiana; two sons, Chester Baumgartner III of Clearwater and Jay Baumgartner of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren.

She was born in Brooksville and moved to Carson City 10 years ago. She was an auditor for the State of Nevada, a schoolteacher in Tampa, Jacksonville and Columbia, S.C., a member of Eastern Star 76, Brooksville, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her son, Richard Hayes of Carson City; three brothers, Russell Aiken and Roger Aiken, both of Brooksville, and Wayne Aiken of Beaumont, Texas; and a sister, Clara Aiken Adkins of Brooksville.
