William J. Vorsheck Sr., 91, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at Plaza West Health Center in Sun City.
He was born in Reynoldsville, Pa., and moved to this area 28 years ago. He retired after working 25 years as a foreman with General Electric. He was a lifetime member of the Eye Club in Erie, Pa., a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, William J. Jr. of Weeki Wachee and Timothy of Bradenton; three daughters, Carole Woitovich of Spring Hill, Rae McCaleb of Erie, Pa., and Susan Vorsheck of Bradenton; a sister, Martha Straub of Spring Hill; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Louis Francis Fuchs, 81, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at the Hernando Hospice Center in Brooksville. He was born in Long Branch, N.J., and moved to the area 24 years ago from Long Island, N.Y.
Mr. Fuchs was a machinist and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Poco Quatros Model A Ford Club of New Mexico, Spring Hill Old Car Club and the Spring Hill Model A Ford Club. He was a Methodist.

Danny Algarin, 43, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He was born in Brentwood, N.Y., and moved to this area recently from Brentwood.
Mr. Algarin was a member of the Christian Tabernacle in Queens, New York. He was a counselor for troubled teens for 19 years at Lake Grove School in New York and was involved in coaching basketball and the Christ Youth Ministry.

Ralph Swendsen, 83, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He moved to this area 23 years ago from his native Rhinebeck, N.Y.
Mr. Swendsen was an accountant, World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Shanghai, China, chaplain for the China, Burma, India Association, and a member of American Legion Post 99, Cloverleaf Veterans, and Eden Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Merilyn; a son, William V. Swendsen of Florence, Mont.; a daughter, Carol Goodrich of Naples; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Daytona Beach and moved to this area 13 years ago from New Smyrna Beach. He was a student at Hernando High School. He worked at Master Lube in Brooksville and going to work with his dad at Rick Matthew's. He was a "Chevy" man, enjoyed BMX biking, mudding and NASCAR.

Vernon, Ill. He was Protestant by faith.

He was born in Bethel Springs, Tenn., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Bethel Springs. He was a POW and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Presidential Unit Citation. He was a tank driver with the 4th Armored Division. He was employed for 40 years as a rural mail carrier in Bethel Springs and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Northcliffe Baptist Church and was a Deacon of the church.
