Mr. Mike Miller Gunter II, of Eustis, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the age of 25 years. He was born in Eustis and has been a life long resident. Mike attended school in Tavares, from elementary school, graduating from Tavares High School. He was involved in little league as a child. Mike enjoyed body building and was a car enthusiast. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Mike is remembered by his wife of 4 years, Nicole; his parents, Elizabeth and John Boozer of Slocomb, AL; sister, Leslie Jarrett and her children, Destiny and Jason Jones, all of Leesburg, FL; maternal grandmother, Jeaneen Warren of Astatula, FL; paternal grandmother, Loretta Gunter of Eustis, FL; grandparents, John and Wanda Boozer; mother-in-law, Judith Aramino of Eustis; father-in-law, Nicholas Aramino of Grand Island, FL; brothers-in-law, John Aramino of Clermont, FL, Adam Aramino of Groveland, FL, Mark Aramino of Eustis, FL, Anthony Aramino of Eustis, FL and Neil Jones of NJ and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Aramino of Leesburg, FL; half-brother, Robert Lee Kitchen. He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Miller Gunter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
Friends gathered for visitation on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, all in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations.

Robert Herman Vehmeier, age 89, of Tavares, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was born August 28, 1921 in Lena, Illinois and moved to Central Florida in 1979 from NY. Robert was a supervisor with the telephone company in Manhattan where he designed the 911 system for the city. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in WWII. He was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mt. Dora and a member of the Telephone Pioneers where he volunteered for over 20 years with Talking Books. Robert was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Elizabeth Vehmeier; son, Robert C. (Cynthia)Vehmeier of Tavares, FL; brother, Melvin Vehmeier of Freeport, IL; sister, Charlotte Buss of Freeport, IL; grandson, John David (Shauna) Vehmeier of Tavares, FL.
The family received friends at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 3:30PM until 5:30PM, with a Funeral Service following at 5:30PM. Interment took place at Florida National cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Berlin E. Green, age 87, of Mt. Dora, FL passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011. He was born October 7, 1923 in Bluford, Illinois and moved to Central Florida in 1970 from Madison, AL. Mr. Green retired from the US Army, having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a Mason, a Shriner, and an avid boater.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Green of Mt. Dora, FL; sons, Charles Green of Maitland, FL and Perry Green of Orlando, FL; daughter, Barbara Green of Deland, FL; brother, Leo Green of Wayne City, IL.

Mr. Rick Denton, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away at the age of 59, on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 9:55 pm at his home. He was born on March 19, 1951 to Ceasar Dell and Betty Lou Denton. Born and raised in Henderson, KY, he was a coal miner for 11 years. Upon moving to Florida, he owned a commercial lawn service for 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and training Labrador Retrievers.

Arthur Chebuske, age 94, of Tavares, FL passed away on December 11, 2010. He was born April 17, 1916 in Richmond Hill, NY. Arthur retired from Grumman Aircraft on Long Island after 31 years. He lived in Lake Ronkonkoma and Calverton, Long Island until moving to Tavares, Florida in 2004.
Arthur is survived by his children, Barbara (Ted) Fabian of Tavares, FL, Gerry (Mike) Murphy of Tavares, FL, Michael (Kathy) Chebuske of Dania Beach, FL, James Chebuske of Riverhead, NY and Thomas Chebuske of Gardner, MA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Arthur is predeceased by his wife Evelyn of 65 years.
