Anthony C. Stoeveken, age 72, of Mt. Dora, FL passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 with his wife and children at his side after a long, slow decline due to Alzheimer s disease. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree from UWM in 1960 he enlisted in the Marine Corps. In 1964 he returned to earn his Master s Degree and in 1966 was awarded a Ford Foundation grant to study fine art lithography at the Tamarind Institute, Los Angeles, where he became one of the first Master Printers. In 1968 he went to work for Graphicstudio Collaboration as Education at the University of South Florida as the first printer. In 1970 he returned to UWM to teach until his retirement as Professor Emeritus. His passions were making art, gardening and reading nonfiction. Christel and Tony moved to Florida 2 years ago to be near to their children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 44 years, Christel; daughter, Jennifer (Dean) Trail; grandchildren, Tyler and Alexa Carlson; son, Joshua (Adria) Stoeveken; sisters, Kathleen (Daniel) Omelina and Mary Jane (Patrick) Brosseau; brothers, Terrence Stoeveken and Peter (Monika) Stoeveken; many cousins, nephews and nieces; sister-in-law, Ingrid Finnan and niece Mollie.
A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00AM at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer s Association or Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares, FL. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.

Robert A. Lariviere 74 of Tavares passed away on April 12, 2011. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire and has spent winters here since 1989. He was the owner and manager of mobile home parks. Mr. Lariviere was Catholic, a Veteran having served with the United States Navy, a member of the American Legion, Eagles and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, they were married for 56 years, his children Debra (Jerry) Patrick of Berlin, New Hampshire, Susan Enman of Gorham, New Hampshire and Robert R. (Jennifer) Lariviere of Arlington, Texas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Colleen Rae Henry affectionately known as Snooks died on April 23, 2011 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Florida. Daughter of Evelyn LaRue Smith and Kenneth Star she was born September 28, 1930 in Somerset, Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker, small business owner and accomplished artist with a personality that could light up a room.
Snooks loved unique, unusual and whimsical things and enjoyed reading, playing cards and most of all long, late night conversations with her sons. Unlike many in her generation when the internet came along she learned quickly. She had her own I-Phone, Book-Nook, desk top, lap top and stayed close with friends and family as Hakbear !
Snooks is survived by the love of her life and husband of 61 years, A. Burdette Hank Henry, sons and family, Mr. & Mrs. Douglas J. Henry, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas G. Henry, Mr. & Mrs. Timothy R. Henry and Mr. & Mrs. Robert V. Henry. Six grandchildren: Jennifer Henry Matschi, John P. Henry, Tracie Henry Gasca, Steven J. Levy, Joseph L. May and David L. May. Six great grandchildren: Kaden Douglas Henry, Jenna Colleen Henry, Kaylie Jade Gasca, Tucker Lewis May, Chela Alvarez Levy and Nico Sterling Levy. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Travis Robert Henry.
Colleen Rae Henry befriended everyone she came in contact with, lived a colorful and full life and will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at 2:30PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 2727 S. Grove Street in Eustis.

In Celebration of a life well lived
Mr. Richard E. Gibson, Sr., of Mount Dora, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 80 years. He was born in Miami, FL and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Richard retired from Florida Power and Light in 1989, where he worked as a lineman for many years and later was in purchasing and logistics for FPL. He enjoyed square dancing and loved to fish. He is remembered by his wife of 58 years, Iola; daughters, Karen Lennox of Mount Dora, Carole (Frank) Cosgrove of North Carolina and Dianie (David) Murphy of Miami, FL; son, Richard, Jr. (Kelly) Gibson of Mount Dora, FL; sister, Margie Gibson of New Mexico; as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to gather for viewing on Thursday, April 21 from 10 11 AM with services starting at 11 AM, all in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Pine Forest cemetery in Mount Dora. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora Building Fund, 1000 East 1st Avenue, Mount Dora, FL 32757. Lisa Renee Hargrove, 43, of Tavares, FL, born July 25, 1967, in Jersey City, NJ, ended her journey of life on April 26, 2011, after her arduous fight with lung cancer. She was predeceded in death by her father Maxye Hargrove. She is survived by her daughter, Chelsey Pearl Hargrove; mother, Sherrie Hargrove; sister, Laura Hargrove (Beth Ann Gause); brother, Jason (Jennifer) Hargrove; niece, Tia Hargrove and many other loving family and friends. Lisa was a medical billing coordinator. She is a graduate of Tavares High School and recently obtained her Associates Degree from Lake Sumter Community College where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She dedicated her life to her wonderful daughter spending countless hours at beauty pageants, baton and cheerleading competitions. She volunteered many hours at the FHW Community Primary Health Clinic and participated in the Relay for Life for over a decade. Visitation was held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Steverson-Hamlin & Hilbish in Tavares, FL. The funeral service was held on Friday, April, 29, 2011, at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Tavares followed by Graveside service at the Tavares cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in Trust for Chelsey Hargrove, FHW Cancer Center, or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.

Joseph Leon Gionet, age 85, of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was born March 23, 1926 in Shirley, Massachusetts to Lucien and Cecille Gionet. Joe retired to Howey-in-the-Hills in 1986 after a successful 30 year career with Florida Gas/Enron Corporation as an Electrical Engineer. Joe was a terrific neighbor and friend to many in his community. He was a man of many talents, but his true passion was model ship making and he became a master at it.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Diana; all six of his children, Clifford, Brian, David, Marie, Anne and Allan; three of his remaining grandchildren, Jean-Luc, Alanna and Matthew. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jason and David, Jr. Joe has lived a full and joyful life and will be missed greatly by all who love and care for him.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 9:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6803 Old Hwy. 441 S., Mt. Dora, FL 32757. Joe s final resting place will be at the Taylor Memorial cemetery, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2245 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778. John Robert Bob Orndorff 93, of Tavares, passed away in Pineville, North Carolina on March 26, 2011. He was born in Delta, Ohio and moved here from Akron, in 1953. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during World War II, a Methodist, a member of the Rotary Club of Eustis, Eustis Lodge 1578 B.P.O.E. and an avid bowler. Bob was a pharmacist and a former owner of Bay Pharmacy of Eustis.
He was predeceased by his wife Martha in 2006 and is survived by his son John Robert (Rebecca) Orndorff II of Charlotte, North Carolina, two granddaughters, Sara Megan Orndorff of Charlotte and Kirsten Nicole Orndorff of Jacksonville and his sister Dorothy Wanda Orndorff of Delta, Ohio.
Services were held in the Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 3 PM. Friends paid their respects from One O clock until the funeral hour. Interment followed on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Tavares cemetery.

Virginia P. Huneycutt

Mrs. Virginia P. Huneycutt, of Tavares, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She will be greatly loved and missed for the legacy she left behind. Together with Carl Huneycutt, she established three successful businesses in her lifetime. Virginia was an Army and Navy veteran, with full colors and accommodations.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Wilbert) Huneycutt Cage; granddaughter, Virginia E. Hall (Dwayne); grandson, Spencer C. Hall, his son, Spencer III, his daughter, Elicia, his daughter, Erica Belles and her children, Tristin, Christian, Jessie and Dakota; grandson, David C. Hall (Tiffani) and his children Tierra, Dominick, Bralien, Kennedi, KJ and Kyren; beloved friends, Mary Rogers, Bernice Cannon and Elma Daniels.
She joins her husband in heaven with Jesus. Both will be greatly missed for their rich heritage and the legacy they have left their family. The family would like to thank First Baptist church of Tavares and Pastor Rick Fountain, for their love and support. The family would further like to thank Bishop Michael T. Sweeney, Pastor of New Life Church of Tavares, for time efforts and energy in supporting our family during this time, Pastor Wilbert Cage, Cornerstone Chapel Ministries, Leesburg, for his prayers and support during this difficult time, Lyn, owner of DenLen, dba, Savannah Manor, as well as Cornerstone Hospice.
A final word from Ging's daughter I wish to thank my children, Virginia and David, for your support, love and care of our precious Ging , when I could no longer be available. I could not have done it without you both. I love you both very much and will never forget this time in our life.

William Mursch

William F. Mursch, of Tavares, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Bill was born in Crafton, PA, on August 9, 1918. After graduating from Crafton High School and the Penn State School of Agronomy, he owned a beautiful farm and was a soil conservation instructor in Clarion, PA. Upon moving his family to Tavares in 1956, Bill worked first as a cabinet maker and then went on to retire from the Tavares Post Office. He was a former member of the Tavares First United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Asbury Evangelical Covenant Church. Bill was married to Dorothea (Tedlie) for 64 years, who preceded him in death in 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Elva H. Mursch of Mt. Dora, FL., and sisters Marion (Ryder) and Ruth (Gammie), and brother Paul.
He is survived by his sons: Russell (Anne) of Woodstock, GA., Clifford (Caryl) of Charlotte, NC., daughters, Doris (Art) Hutchinson of Altamonte Springs, FL., and Pamela (John) Steiner of Summerfield, FL., 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, Tavares, with visitation prior to the service at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Arrangements handled by Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremation, 226 East Burleigh Boulevard, Tavares, FL 32778.

Mrs. Beverly K. Tomlinson, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the age of 57 years. She was born in Bartow, Florida and moved to the Tavares area in 1982 from Haines City, FL. Beverly was a homemaker and previously worked as head waitress and bar manager at O Keefe s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Tavares for over 10 years. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mount Dora. Beverly loved to garden, especially flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, fishing, crocheting and sewing.
Beverly is remembered by her husband of 32 years, Wayne; daughters, Detta (Darold)Byars of Astatula, FL, Tessie Hart (Scot Clark) of Tavares, Beverly K. Hart Coburn (Nicolas Penny) of Leesburg, FL, April Jordan (Jeff Collins) of Tavares, Leslie Jerrett (Joe Jones) of Weirsdale, FL, Diana Tomlinson of Georgia and Elita Tomlinson of Georgia; son, Jerry Myers of Texas; sisters, Theresa (Ricky) Hale of Tennessee and Judy (Kenneth) Curtis of Tennessee; brothers, Billy (Donna) Barnhill of Tennessee and Bobby Barnhill of Tennessee; grandchildren, Erica, Ashley, Jason Boo , Heather, destiny, Jr., Ariel and Jocelyn; as well as her best friend and Earth Angel , Sandy Thomas of Mount Dora, FL.
The family invited friends to gather for a viewing on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, with the funeral ceremony starting at 12:00 noon, in the funeral home chapel.
