Mrs. Clara Venice Banks of Marshall, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2003 in Cross City. She was 70.
Mrs. Banks moved to Cross City from Marshall, TX. in June 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Ronney Rodgers Banks, Cross City; daughter, Christy (Larry) Keen, Cross City; brother, Ted Fries, Kerrville, TX; sister, Lanora Rosser, Timpson, TX.; two grandchildren, Kristopher and Kameron Keen.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to P.O. Box 1836, Cross City, FL. 32628. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Marshall, TX.

John Wilson Flynn, 69
John Wilson Flynn of Old Town, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at the North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. He was 69.
Mr. Flynn was born Dec. 6, 1933 in Detroit, MI. to Paul and Leona (Wilson) Flynn. He moved to Old Town, in 1998 from Citrus County after he retired from the business he owned and operated, Flynn Builders of Citrus County from 1972 to 1998. He came to Citrus County in 1972 from Seminole. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Rainbow Riders Motorcycle Club in Dunnellon. He enjoyed boating and photography. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Flynn, Old Town; son, Joseph (Heather), Beverly Hills, FL.; daughters, Tammy Trowbridge, and Kathy (Dale) Williams, all of Homosassa, Linda (Todd) Mowrey, Jacksonville; sister, Patricia Loren, Flint, MI; 7 grandchildren, Sierra, Melissa, Chris, Tiffany, Tyler, Janet and Colton; 1 great-grandson, Jayden Scherer.
A memorial service was conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Douglas Alexander of the Church Without Walls in Inverness officiating. Interment was on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with military honors rendered by the American Legion Post #155, Crystal River.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimers' Family Organization or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be provided at the services.

Martin Phillip Levin, 75
Martin Phillip Levin of Chiefland, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2003. He was 75.
Mr. Levin was born in Newark, New Jersey. He was in merchandising, was a member of the VFW, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by ex-wife, Billie Dawn Greene, Chiefland; sons, Quentin (April) Levin, Chiefland, Brett Ashley Parrish, St. Petersburg; grandchildren, Dana Harper, St. Petersburg, Robert Tyler White, Quentin Curtis Levin and Sabastian Lance Levin, all of Chiefland and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been placed under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Chiefland.
Britt Stanaland Lord, 35
Britt Stanaland Lord of Morriston, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 in Williston. He was 35.
Mr. Lord was born in Savannah, GA., and came to the area 5 years ago from Cumming, GA. He was a Sales Rep. for a Marketing Company, a member of League of Families/POW-MIA, very active in youth baseball and a member of First Baptist Church in Roswell, GA.
He was preceded in death by father, Arthur Lord; and brother, Richard Lord.
He is survived by wife, Windi Lord, Morriston; 2 sons, Austin Michael Lord and Jacob Andrew Lord, both of Morriston; mother, Sandra Lord, Roswell, GA.; paternal grandmother, Lillian Lord, Augusta, GA.; maternal grandparents, Stan and Katherine Morris, Aiken, SC.; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Mora Head, Dawsonville, GA.; grandmother-in-law, Mora Hartley, Williston; sister, Susan Bizaillion, Compass Lake,FL.
