John Robert Bernier, of Williston, died June 5, 2003, at his home. He was 70.
Mr. Bernier was born in Champlain, N.Y., and came here from Fort Lauderdale in 1985. He was a retired construction superintendent.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a Catholic. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1369 in Buffalo, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, June Bernier of Williston; sons Bryan Bernier of Ocala, Keith Bernier of Webster and Travis Bernier of Old Town; daughters Pamella Szumigata of Fort Lauderdale, Deborah Richardson of Chiefland and Sandra Bernier of Gainesville; a brother, Ernest Bernier of East Aurora, N.Y.; sisters Thelma Kozlowski of Alabama, and Jackie Schmidt and Marie Ulrich, both of Alden, N.Y.; and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. Gordon Lee Bowie, Jr., of Jena, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at his home. He was 46.

Mary C. Davis Ehlenberger
Mary C. Davis Ehlenberger, of Williston, died June 5, 2003. She was 85.
Mrs. Ehlenberger was born in Savannah, Ga., and moved to Williston from Bronson in 1996. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Robert Cartwright of Palm City; a daughter, Merle Winn of Archer; a sister, Eva Dougman of Bronson; and seven grandchildren.
Edward Joseph Haeussner
Edward Joseph Haeussner, of Chiefland, died June 8, 2003, at his home. He was 63.
Mr. Haeussner was born in Ohio and moved to the Chiefland area from St.Petersburg in 1982. He was a pipe fitter and welder.
He was a member of Local Union No. 123 and St. John's Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Haeussner of Chiefland; sons William Haeussner of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Edward Haeussner of Palm Harbor; daughters Rita Antone of Guyton, Ga., and Regina Kavanagh of Seminole; a brother, John Bellet of Bushnell; a sister, Letti Dowell of Pasadena, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Ms. Dorothy May Loyall of Trenton, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at Kindred Hospital - Green Cove Springs. She was 82.
Harry Leroy Miller
Harry Leroy Miller, of Cedar Key, died June 7, 2003, at his home. He was 72.
Mr. Miller was born in Miami and moved to Cedar Key from Gainesville in 1986, He was a retired technician for Southern Bell in Gainesville and enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with his family. He was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Moss Miller of Cedar Key; daughter Bonnie Sue McCullors of Gainesville; son Roy Miller of Cedar Key; brother Gordon H. Miller of Miami; and seven grandchildren.
