Mrs. Miller was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to the area 3 months ago from Seffner, FL. She was a secretary for a commercial construction company.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Lynn O'Rourke; and mother, Virginia Gregoria.
She is survived by father, Joseph Gregoria, Seffner; husband, Daniel Miller, Trenton; step-sons, Michael Miller, England, and Mark Miller, MO.; daughters, Bethann Steptoe, Trenton, Samantha Miller, Tampa; step-daughters, Kathleen Lopez, MO. and Dianne Castle, MO.; brother, Joseph Gregoria, Wyandotte, MI.; sister, Victoria DeGuegorio, Seffner and 11 grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland.
Sharon E. Trail, 53
Sharon E. Trail of Chiefland, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2003 in Gainesville. She was 53.
She was born in Miami, and has lived in this area
40 years. She was an Optometrist (eye care), and was a member of Joppa Baptist Church. She was a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by son, Chris Trail; father, Harry Matthews, and brother, Bob Matthews.
She is survived by mother, Lora Osceola, Chiefland; husband, Dale Trail, Chiefland; son, Kevin Trail, Chiefland; sisters, Pat Hodge, Bell, and Carol Allen, Chiefland; 2 grandchildren, Kelby and Christen Trail, Chiefland.
Arrangements have been placed under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland.
Lora Osceola
Lora Osceola of Chiefland died Sept. 27, 2003, at Ayers Health and Rehab Center in Trenton. She was 72.
Mrs. Osceola was born in Ft. Meade and moved to Chiefland 42 years ago from Miami. She was a clerk for several different businesses.
She was a member of the Joppa Baptist Church in Chiefland.
She was preceded in death by husbands Mike Osceola and Harry E. Matthews, a son, Charles R. Matthews, and a daughter, Sharon E. Trail.
Survivors include daughters Carol Allen of Chiefland and Pat Hodge of Bell; brothers Nelson Lunn of Tallahassee and Roger Titus, Lonnie Titus and Kenny Titus, all of Lakeland; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Richard Lee Long, 62
Richard Lee Long of Old Town, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at his residence. He was 62.
Mr. Long was born in Springfield, Ohio, and has lived in the area since 1996. He retired from the St. Petersburg Times, and was an avid antique car collector.
He is preceded in death by father, Everett Long; mother, Betty Louise Taylor; and wife, Tamara Long.
He is survived by close friend, Tommy Shoun; and a blessed neighbor, Eloise Beauchamp; sisters, Karen Packer and Sharon Rogusky, both of Springfield, Ohio; and a brother, Bruce Thompson, Springfield Ohio.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date in Springfield, Ohio.
