Elva Quincey Corbin, 89
Mrs. Elva Quincey Corbin died Friday, Jan. 2, at Ayers Health and Rehab Center, Trenton. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Corbin was born in Bronson and has been a lifetime resident of the area. She retired in 1973 from the Levy County School Board, after serving 30 years as a school bus driver.
Mrs. Corbin was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clark Quincey and Albert Corbin, and a son, J. C. Quincey.
Survivors include a brother, G. F. Munn of Gainesville; three sisters, Maude Joyner of Tampa, Ida Mae Wilson of Annandale, Va., and Artha Spillane of Chiefland; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Williston.
Larry F. Epperson, 59
Mr. Larry F. Epperson died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Shands at U.F. in Gainesville. He was 59 years old.
Mr. Epperson was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to Williston over 20 years ago from Miami. He was a retired master carpenter.
Mr. Epperson enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Epperson of Williston; son, Larry F. Epperson, Jr., of Morriston; two daughters, Brenda Epperson of Bronson and Barbara O'Connor of Fayetteville, N.C.; two brothers, Julian Epperson, Jr., and James Michael Epperson, both of Williston; and six grandchildren.
Knauff Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Patricia L. Funk, 76
Mrs. Patricia L. Funk of Trenton died Jan. 3, 2004 in Trenton.
She was 76.
Mrs. Funk was born in Camden, N.J., and came here from Ocean Gate, N.J., in 1999. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Funk.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver Funk of Trenton; a daughter, Judith Geiger of Trenton; a son, Gary Funk of Turnesville, N.J.; brother, Daniel West of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Betty Ertl, Belhaven, N.C., and Barbara McKinnon of Waconia, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland.
Norma Honeycutt, 48
Mrs. Norma Honeycutt of Gainesville died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Shands at U.F., in Gainesville. She was 48 years old.
Mrs. Honeycutt was born in Gainesville and had been a lifetime resident of the area.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Honeycutt of Bronson; a son, Charles Len Prevatt of Newberry; two daughters, Melody Duncan and Shannon Libby, both of Gainesville; mother, Roseatt Duncan of Gainesville; brothers and sisters; Shirley Goble and Kathy Byrd, both of Newberry, Wesley Yawn of Fort White, Virgie Ellison of Perry, Judy Holt and Christopher Duncan, both of Newberry and Wade Yawn of Bronson and seven grandchildren.
